It's an old facility, definitely not to the standard I expected a Hilton to be. Staff was pleasant and the room was clean but it smelled musty and old and the hallway carpet was old and stained. It's an old hotel and they just freshened it up with a coat of paint and that's about it.

Even in the middle of being remodeled it was very clean,quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had read some reviews warning of the run down nature of this hotel I found that several hotel renovations were underway, still in progress. The hall carpet was brand new (still missing baseboards). Workers were installing decorations in the lobby. My room was very clean (with an exception of the shower). The spacious room appeared to have been renovated - spartan vinyl wood-like floors instead of carpet. A good bed, a good air conditioner with digital wall thermostat, free wifi. The lower shower walls had some mold on the grout, a surprise given the rest of the room. The noise level was moderate - not quiet like a more expensive hotel, but not on a freeway with a roar of traffic all night. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of audible talking in the hallway starting at 6:30am. The "hot breakfast" was bare bones - coffee, juice, cereal, and waffle irons, but no eggs or meat. I passed and headed to breakfast at a nearby diner. This was a decent "value" hotel.
