Stay Zeni, Ouse Court York 2BED Flat with Balcony

Modern apartment but we had a few issues.On the final day one bedroom smelt of raw sewage even thought the smell was nowhere else.We were given incorrect information regarding the code to access the parking and the wrong car space.We also had problems accessing the building due to a faulty door.The apartmwnt was also too hot (23C) and we couldnt seem to adjust the thermostat.We reported all the issues with my property host.Apart from the issues the location is good and apartment has a modern feel.

Easy to walk into the city centre

Good location for walking York. We were able to leave our car untouched for 2 days while we walked all over York. 6 minute walk to a wall gate and 12 to Shambles. Apartment was roomy and well laid out. One bed was very comfy and soft while the other was quite hard. Bathrooms were well lit and clean. Washer and dryer was a plus

It was a pleasant change to be welcomed in person when we arrived. The apartment was clean,comfortable and well-equipped. My only quibble was with the traffic noise as the bedrooms are close to the main road. The apartment is only a15 minute walk to the centre of the city and there is a supermarket nearby. Ideal for a couple or two.

Negative comments: On arrival we were told that the dishwasher was broken, why was in not fixed? We were allocated a parking bay for our sole use but on our second day this space was occupied by another party who were told to park there by a representative of My Holiday Host. I reported this to the Site Manager but this situation was not rectified leaving me without a designated parking bay. I found this situation rather chaotic and shambolic and completely unsatisfactory. Otherwise we were satisfied with our holiday.
