Best Western Executive Hotel New Haven-West Haven

I had to change room 3 times, one room smelled very bad, bathroom extremely small carpet dirty.. I wouldn't recommend .

Would not stay here again. Lots of problems starting with we reserved a king size bed with a sofa and they said they don't have any rooms like that only queens with sofas. Didn't have our reservation, got locked out of our room, they didn't clean our room even though we left at 11am with no "do not disturb" on the door. The room was really run down with peeling paint and old fixtures. Barely any electrical outlets. It was dark because there are only small slit windows, no inner curtain so sun would blare in the cracks in the morning. Seems like it use to be a hospital or nursing home because there is still a plate in the bathroom that has a nurses call button which is now a lightswitch so they didn't even spent the 50 cents for a new switchplate. Staff was decent with the one positive being the nice and helpful woman at the front desk. And they put out cookies and balloons for the graduates which was nice. Breakfast had various choices but bad like stale pastries or black bananas. I would never recommend and we paid way too much because it was graduation weekend.

Good continental breakfast, poor hot options. Nice room

The hotel was fine. A little dated but it was okay for a couple of nights.
