Hotel Amelia Mare

A wonderful hotel just a skip across to the beach with the pool situated at the front of the property for maximum sunshine!! Areas of the hotel were still ‘work in progress’ I.e fittings for the heated towel rail installed but no towel rail. Coving around the lift yet to be fixed and roof top bar getting ready for the season! This did not diminish our enjoyment of the hotel and the staff were attentive, polite, friendly and very service focused. From housekeeping to bar, beach bar to reception the service was fantastic. We will go again because of the service, food location and the beach!

Amelia Beach Hotel i Golem, Albanien är ett relativt nybyggt hotell (byggt på 2020-talet). Klassifikationen varierar på olika siter från 3 till 5 stjärnor; sanningen är att det är mer relevant med 3 stjärnor (5 st är nog "albanska" stjärnor). Hotellet ligger mkt bra till vid kusten, endast en väg skiljer hotellet från vatten. Det finns både pool och solstolar vid stranden, likaså barer på dessa ställen. Vi hade all inclusive under vår vistelse; en enkel all incl ,då utbudet av drinkar var ytterst begränsat till inhemska spritsorter där vi mest uppskattade ölet och vinerna; deras lokala rom var drickbar tillsammans med cola, medan whiskyn endast provsmakades en gång! Alltför hög musik vid poolen, "musik"! av typ dunka-dunka, det gick inte att komma från detta eviga dunkande; jo, om man gick ner till stranden. Det var sandstrand, men en bit ut var bottnen stenig. Hotellets Rooftoop bar var stängd när vi var där, men vi lyckades ta oss upp med en hiss och däruppe var det naturligtvis en fantastisk utsikt, men mycket nergånget med flagande färg, smuts och bristfällig finish på det mesta. (Det skulle rustas upp inför sommarsäsongen, vi var där sista veckan i maj 2026). Maten? Sådär, inga sensationer, men mycket kyckling i olika former. Hissar? Allltför få och små - Klart underdimensionerat! Fina, stora rum, (boka högt upp för havsutsiktens skull). Gästtoaletterna vid pool och matsal; nja de gick inte att låsa! Sammanfattningsvis: Hotellet lovar mer än vad de håller.

Very nice and family friendly hotel. Maybe more food selections and more activities.

I loved my stay. Everyone is very welcoming and helping we checked in before the check-in time and the best part is that the staff will go beyond the normal to make you feel at home I was not feeling well and the night receptionist he helped us to go to the local hospital at 2 am which is extraordinary. I recommend this hotel five stars thank you.
