Breakfast was wonderful and had different meat variety everyday. Very clean breakfast area with tons of options. Hot tub was fantastic but could have used a few more jets. There was always clean towels to use by the pool and hot tub. We need some laundry while there, the laundry room was well kept and well lit.

Just stayed 1 night and would stay there again. Convenient location, easy to find, large comfortable room with walk out terrace with 2 chairs and table. Breakfast was the usual hotel fare. Rooms accessible from inside hallways so it feels safe. No elevator to 2nd floor. Easy parking.

Super nice hotel! Rooms are great. Clean, comfortable and nice kitchenette. Great pool and the hot tub is huge! We used the laundry facilities and they were clean and efficient. Breakfast was hot with lots of options. Staff was very helpful and friendly! This will stay on our list of places to stay near Tampa.

We had to get a pet friendly room and this was our first time getting a pet friendly room and it was the cleanest la Quinta room we’ve ever stayed at. The pool area and jacuzzi were amazing and super clean! Breakfast was great too! We’ll be staying here again most definitely

Two rooms switches and decided to leave. Pretty sure people live here. Clearly this hotel is not as described. My husband took a photo of the roaches, showed the front desk clerk and we left . We did not remove our things from luggage cart, but still had to pay. We left to another hotel in the area and stayed for the rest of our week vacation.

Great little old gem. It’s not new and flashy but the desk staff and employees make it seem like the Ritz. They are the stars!!! I gut so much help from everyone there. The beds are comfy, the air con is mediocre and loud. The pool area and jacuzzi are amazing. There are tons of stores and plenty of places to walk to in the area.

My understanding is that Expedia gets to sell the least desirable rooms (our was in the back, first floor, view of the parking lot and dumpster. We heard the dumpster being emptied in the AM twice. The walls are kind of thin so you can hear if the adjacent room is loud. The good part is the staff was GREAT and the pool was over 8' deep. The location is GREAT next to the Phillies Baycare stadium.

Very large hot tub, a wonderful large breakfast with ample seating. Comfortable bed. Kind lobby staff. Going through some construction currently, but definitely some outdated features. Water pressure in the shower (room 146) could be better.

Im very disappointed with the manager Notie. The place was very nice and comfortable. However first time going to the front desk, I asked the manager notie, for early charge 55$ check in and Late check out.55$ We paíd for both and she removed both. When I asked what was the issue. She said i denided with no explanation. I asked for late check she told me also and i had to wait until the day checking out. The night before we spoke to another agent and she confirm that i was good for late check out 3pm 55$. Next morning i called to confirm and manager told she denided again. I asked how come if was already confirmed. She responded i denided again. We did not feel welcome or wishing to come back to this hotel back again. She could say: sorry guys unfortunately we do not have due to amount of booking and then I would understand. But her rudeness attitude was on call for it. Sorry for this msg.

Staff was very nice . Asked if there was anything we need more and if there was anything just ask anytime just call . Hotel mangers number was in room if we had any problems to call . You could tell it was a older property but it was well managed and maintained. Staff and maintenance stayed on top of property. Everyone seemed to work hard together for the total out come of property. 5 star 🌟 would stay again. Thanks for making are vacation great

When we arrived we found the front desk manager, Henry, to be very helpful, even explaining how to walk to the Phillies stadium. Couldn't have a better person at the desk. In fact, all of the staff we encountered were very friendly! However, in our room we found a non- operational air conditioner that had to be replaced while we waited. Also, the internet service was spotty and not "extremely fast" as advertised but it was OK. There was no soap in the shower and only a tiny little bar at the sink. And the shampoo bottle was already half empty when we went to use it so I believe it was a leftover from the previous customer. We stayed for two nights and housekeeping never came in to make the bed or give us fresh towels and wash cloths so that was disappointing. Breakfast was great though! Not a bad experience but room for improvement.

The hotel is in need of some updating but it was clean and staff were very nice and accommodating. The pool and spa were clean and kept up nicely with plenty of seating areas. There are closed buildings around the property which did not seem very safe. The area is also somewhat noisy since it’s very close to a busy road.

This hotel was perfect to come back to after exploring Clearwater. It is located on the highway so you do have to Uber/drive everywhere, but we rented a car right down the street at Hertz. The hotel had breakfast every morning and the pool was never too crowded. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed.

We enjoyed this hotel,nice clean room,beds were on the small side but still doubles,nice friendly staff,nice pool ,good breakfast selection, vending machines were handy,great location for Baycare Ballpark, good few restaurants in walking distance, namely Perkins and Smokey Bones BBQ, would happily stay here again

The location is GREAT next to the Phillies Baycare stadium.

My understanding is that Expedia gets to sell the least desirable rooms (our was in the back, first floor, view of the parking lot and dumpster. We heard the dumpster being emptied in the AM twice. The walls are kind of thin so you can hear if the adjacent room is loud. The good part is the staff was GREAT and the pool was over 8' deep. The location is GREAT next to the Phillies Baycare stadium.

Breakfast was wonderful and had different meat variety everyday. Very clean breakfast area with tons of options. Hot tub was fantastic but could have used a few more jets. There was always clean towels to use by the pool and hot tub. We need some laundry while there, the laundry room was well kept and well lit.

Very large hot tub, a wonderful large breakfast with ample seating. Comfortable bed. Kind lobby staff. Going through some construction currently, but definitely some outdated features. Water pressure in the shower (room 146) could be better.

I was not aware that a major credit card was mandatory for checking in. No debit cards or cash are accepted so I went through phone tag for some time and finally just reserved a room at a different location. I was informed a few hours later by the property manager at La Quinta that they would request a refund for me from Expedia. I hope they do.

We had a very pleasant stay here at La Quinta and it was definitely a highlight of our stay in Clearwater. The room was clean, private, comfortable, and, after some fidgeting with the AC, cold enough to beat the heat when needed. The pool and hot tub were very enjoyable and was always clean, at least as far as we could tell. Theres also clean towels available to use by the hot tub, which was almost always stocked. You do pay for the laundry facilities, but they werent too expensive. It cleaned our clothes well, plus they had detergent for us to buy at the front desk which was convenient. The free breakfast was pretty nice, a large variety of options that look fresh and taste decent. Fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, bagels, you name it. We liked being able to just take a plate to our room. We only had housekeeping once during our stay and it was wonderfully done. Our room was cleaned well and our personal belongings were treated with respect. I made a note to the front desk for them to not throw away some boxes, as we were doing a lot of shopping and needed them, and they respected our wishes. The front desk was also very accommodating when I needed extra towels. My only downside was the wifi. I didnt dock a star because its really not a big deal, but the wifi here was very bad. I would recommend for the owner or management to move from an open network to a password-based system, or potentionally even upgrading because it could not run much on my laptop or phone.
