Seven Beach Lane

Terrific first stay for our anniversary, and we will be back! Jen and Kevin so sweet, helpful, and kind. Grounds are beautiful, rooms a bit small but pretty. Watched Open in lobby late night, felt like we were home w a bigger TV. Definite classy gem in Westhampton.

This hotel is in a great location close to town and restaurants. The rooms are well appointed and clean. The rooms by the pool are larger than the rooms in the house. We have stayed in both and I prefer the pool rooms although louder than the others. Nice pool and restaurant/bar on site. There is also a hotel shuttle to the beach and they were nice enough to drive us to dinner also.

An unfortunate incident occurred during our first night at the hotel. Due to staff or maintenance negligence, a gas valve was left open. At approximately 11:45 p.m., a guest returning to the hotel noticed the issue and called the police. The hotel was evacuated by the police and fire department because it was deemed unsafe. No staff members were on the premises, and it took approximately 20 minutes for someone to arrive. In the meantime, the police and fire department shut off the gas, and large fans were used to ventilate the building. EMS also responded to assist guests who were experiencing headaches caused by the gas exposure. After a staff member arrived, police advised them that, in addition to no one being on-site, the bar and other facilities had been left unlocked when they should have been secured. At around 1:00 a.m., the police finally advised that the area was clear and safe. Despite this, we did not feel safe remaining at the property and decided to leave. While we were refunded for our stay, no additional consideration was offered. There was also no follow-up from management or apology to ensure our well-being after such a serious incident.

Everything was amazing/ only critique was the morning coffee could have been better.
