Very nice hotel although I had to switch rooms as the patio door didn’t close and it was over the front entrance so was very noisy. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sonia at breakfast 😊 Convenient shuttle to V&A Waterfront which was really useful. Views across the sea and mountains were fantastic.

We couldn’t use the facilities as shown (the rooftop pool) as there was an event going on. Additionally, there was extremely loud noise until 12am, preventing us from sleep.

Sødt personale Dejlig udsigt Men det er simpelthen absolut ringe Gym. Selvom andre har beklaget dette før. Så konstaterer vi. Ingen maskiner. Meget gamle og ikke vedligeholdte vægte. Defekt løbebånd. Ingen vand glas osv. Ubrueligt.

The river into the ocean just to the left of the property is very polluted. Was sad to discover. The gym is not great with few machines and one of them broken. Lovely view, though, clean and a great breakfast.

Zimmer war in Ordnung , aber nicht so wie auf Bildern Aussicht super , Essen gut , glutenfrei einmal Ja einmal nein , Frühstück , Wartezeit auf Tisch , obwohl genügend Tische frei sind Ein Pool meerseitig vorhanden , im 3 stock meist wegen Veranstaltungen gesperrt aber sowieso kalt , da nicht beheizt , Whirlpool wie beschrieben nicht vorhanden ! Alles in allem ok , nur nicht wie beschrieben !!!!! Keine 4 Sterne !

Firstly the 2 bed apt we were offered was on the ground floor and wasn’t full sea view also the safety box wasn’t working and there were bugs in the room. We asked to be moved to a higher floor that was granted and everything worked. We were very disappointed to learn the V&A shuttles were not regular so we had to get taxis adding to the cost

Not close to a four star hotel and not in line with the pictures. Several areas are in a clear need of an upgrade and the first room we got was so worn down and dirty that we just could not stay.

By far my favorite place to stay when in Cape Town. Hotel staff are amazingly friendly and accomodating. Hotel is prestine, you will always find staff cleaning which is amazing! The beach and mountain are breathtaking.

Staff were very friendly and really helpful. Breakfast was really good and there were lots of different options available. However, the hotel was quite busy when we checked in, and as a result it was noisy even during late evening as people were walking past our room, etc. There was also construction taking place, which would have been nice to know upfront so as to manage expectations. There were cigarette remnants and a discarded bottle of alcohol on our balcony which was never removed. Bottles of drinking water were provided, but tasted smoky. Overall, it was conveniently located and an average stay.

The properties is farther from downtown than appears. The bus takes approximately 45min to the waterfront. Uber is the only other option to get into town. Overall the property is dated and not well maintained. The beds were very hard and the room had several broken/dirty things including the towel racks, the soap rack in the shower, the lamp shades, and mold along the upper tile lining in the shower. The fan in the bathroom also did not work. The staff however are excellent! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. It felt special to have people remember you when you got back from a day out and ask how you were.

I do not recommend this property, my daughter and I arrived early evening and to check in they unlocked the door and locked it behind you. This did not give you a feeling of a security. Then we needed to park our rental and a man from inside insisted that he wanted to drive us in our vehicle to the parking lot, we let him in the car but not drive. Highly unusual! Then once inside the room there was no air conditioning or fan blowing, we brought this to their attention and the said give it one hour. We contacted them again, they sent someone and said it was broken. They then called our room and offered to change rooms, we did and the second rooms air conditioning wasn’t working, but the blower worked. At this time it was late in the evening and we had no choice but to stay the night. The rooms were not clean, there was dirt and oil on the headboard and large metallic spangles in the shower. We left early the next morning and after our excursion found another hotel in a safe area and called Expedia to help get a refund. I spoke with the hotel about the refund and they said I had to go through Expedia, and Expedia originally offered a $50 credit and I insisted on getting half of what we paid back. Ultimately, we received half of the money back, The original stay was $360 for two days, at what was called a Luxury Spa Hotel. No pool in site when we arrived and I would not consider the area safe, overall it was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and highly overpriced.

Clean room. Food from restaurant and room service was good. The hotel itself looks old and outdated (carpet, walls, shower floor), but the room was comfortable. The room was over the conference room, which had a party the last night of the stay, but was very quiet throughout the beginning of the stay. Staff was polite and the drive to the attractions was reasonable.

Property was okay but the AC doesn’t work and you will sweat all night. Despite asking for it to be fixed multiple times. We left early because we could not deal with the heat and humidity in the rooms.

The views from this hotel are absolutely stunning. I recommend the ocean view room, as it has views of the mountains as well. This room is what made my stay here so perfect. If you want easy walking to restaurants and waterfront, this is not for you. But if you are happy to take extremely cheap Ubers to places, please treat yourself to this beautiful hotel. The views from the pool is stunning as well. I personally didn’t regret not including breakfast to my booking, as the other on site restaurant offered cheaper breakfast prices and in my opinion tastier (as I did pay for the breakfast buffet one morning).

Não é um hotel , e sim um apartamento para aluguel anexo ao hotel. Chuveiro péssimo, box que alaga o banheiro a cada banho. Não tem ar condicionado, em pleno verão. Mobiliário antigo e desgastado. Cama casal pequena . Região longe do Waterfront, e nade não tem mais nada pertoz pessima escolha

What a lovely stay. The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking a peaceful beach and the ocean. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and took care of me during my stay. The bar and restaurant staff, transport desk, reception staff were all great and made my stay one to remember. I would like to particularly thank the lovely Sonia who looked after me everyday at breakast time, and the spa manager who was also super friendly and helped me during my stay. Thank you all. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend. Thank you.

The service at reception is terrible- you call them from the room they never pick up - the family suites are extremely small for 4 people and at a cost of over 4000 very expensive- bar staff are very good - did one set of laundry was 1300 for a few items - complete rip off - we do whole bag for 400 in the laundry in the strand - completely over priced- your spa is also completely over priced at nearly 1000 for nails ? It’s 500 in joburg ?

Staff made us feel welcome and safe. Friendly staff in all departments. Breakfast wonderful with many choices. Food was great.

Quando chegamos no hotel não havia a confirmação do pagamento da reserva, apesar de eu ter feito o pagamento diretamente para Hoteis.com. Mostrei todos os comprovantes ao gerente que nosbdeixou esperando por uns 30min até liberar o check-in. Estava ocorrendo uma obra em alguns quartos e os corredores estavam bem desorganizado. Por outro lado, o cafe da manhã é incrivel.

The location of the hotel is good in that it is right there on the beach, the area is more commercial than tourist though. We were on business so this wasn't an issue and there is always Uber to take you anywhere easily and quickly. The hotel has nice spacious public areas, a nice bar an terrace area next to the pool (small but then you have the ocean right there). There is another pool I think but I didn't check that out. food and drink served at the hotel bar there was good, some really nice casual dining options. The staff in the bar and the breakfast were friendly and helpful. The staff on the front desk were excellent. Very helpful and professional and very friendly too. The room was OK. The bed was comfy, everything was clean, the room was quite spacious. The air conditioning was very loud though and it was running all night (its hot here, right?) Also my room door looked like someone had broken into the room, it showed signs of being forced. This made me a little uncomfortable. There is a room safe and I used it! All in all it was a good stay and everything was fine and offered value for money at high season.

Never got it back. In general the front desk is not responsive and seems disconnected from house keeping etc. restaurant and bar staff are great.

The beach was disgusting as it was littered from all the trash from the ocean. Trash pickers combed the beach looking for re-usable items. The ocean water was brown like sewer water. The hotel was nice, staff was great, but the beachfront is not worth booking a stay for if that's what you would like. Our stay was in July--maybe the beach is different at another time of the year.

The views from this hotel are absolutely stunning. I recommend the ocean view room, as it has views of the mountains as well. This room is what made my stay here so perfect. If you want easy walking to restaurants and waterfront, this is not for you. But if you are happy to take extremely cheap Ubers to places, please treat yourself to this beautiful hotel. The views from the pool is stunning as well. I personally didn’t regret not including breakfast to my booking, as the other on site restaurant offered cheaper breakfast prices and in my opinion tastier (as I did pay for the breakfast buffet one morning).

The properties is farther from downtown than appears. The bus takes approximately 45min to the waterfront. Uber is the only other option to get into town. Overall the property is dated and not well maintained. The beds were very hard and the room had several broken/dirty things including the towel racks, the soap rack in the shower, the lamp shades, and mold along the upper tile lining in the shower. The fan in the bathroom also did not work. The staff however are excellent! Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. It felt special to have people remember you when you got back from a day out and ask how you were.

The river into the ocean just to the left of the property is very polluted. Was sad to discover. The gym is not great with few machines and one of them broken. Lovely view, though, clean and a great breakfast.

Firstly the 2 bed apt we were offered was on the ground floor and wasn’t full sea view also the safety box wasn’t working and there were bugs in the room. We asked to be moved to a higher floor that was granted and everything worked. We were very disappointed to learn the V&A shuttles were not regular so we had to get taxis adding to the cost

They totally mislead on their website about their services. They present a full room service menu - which in fact they don't have. They have a. very limited menu (mostly appetizer/fast food style) that's delivered in take out containers. You can physically go to one of their restaurants and order off that menu - which you then take to your room yourself. Thats NOT room Service. If I can do that, why cant they????? When you mislead to attract customers, you turn them away forever.

The property is old! Needs new furniture. Staff is nice and polite, especially the restaurants. The food was excellent, although choice is limited. The travel desk is money hungry. They want to charge R280 for the same adapter for around R50 in the U.S. And most hotels don’t demand that you buy the adapter, either. They charge a trip for $10.0 US that Uber charged around $7.00 US. In addition, one needs a reservation in advance.

Clean room. Food from restaurant and room service was good. The hotel itself looks old and outdated (carpet, walls, shower floor), but the room was comfortable. The room was over the conference room, which had a party the last night of the stay, but was very quiet throughout the beginning of the stay. Staff was polite and the drive to the attractions was reasonable.

While the property was located on a beautiful beach the hotel infrastructure was definitely outdated but very clean. Food service staff was horrible, dealt with some racism and ordered food that never was received. Property staff was great, but the service workers were not the best. Our toilet had some issues, and rooms very clean but very outdated appliances

Dust everywhere - workers protected by masks and boots… guest with none navigating glass on the dirty carpets. Walking outside the hotel to their ‘temp’ restaurant that even the staff says is unsafe. Why could they not warn the guests that booked two Months ago that the restaurants, pub, ocean side pool is not available due to construction. The management conned us and we got a stay in a dust ball.

The hotel is generally fine, but make sure you get a renovated room. For some reason, they tried to put me into one of the decrepit unrenovated rooms, despite having plenty of renovated rooms available. I was staying in the apartment side of the facility. The front desk staff are unfriendly and not particularly helpful. For example, I paid the exorbitant rate for a late check out so I could stay in the room until my night flight, but the front desk forgot to log that in the system. That resulted in someone pounding on the door in the morning saying I had to get out, until I explained I had arranged for late check out.
