Change of management.Its stillreasonablypriced.However there was long queue at reception at 9pm friday to check with one girl serving.Good to see some staff continuing especially friendly girl in the morning. Sometimes i was given free upgrade under previous management as been coming for a few yrs but probably arrived earlier.Unfortunately breakfast now only continental unlike before.Only one lift working.Had to switch tv off at the back as remote only changed channels.Asked for replacement remote but that needed new batteries.

Établissement situé en face d’une gare , avec toutes les nuisances possibles et inimaginables. Bruits de voitures, moto , sorties de discothèques…. Aucune insonorisation dans les chambres De la saleté dans la chambre et en particulier dans la salle de bain . Un seul ascenseur fonctionne sur les 2 avec les câbles apparents . Il n’y avait pas de draps et serviettes nous avons dû les réclamer. Le parking le plus proche est à 800 m Bref à éviter

Cet hotel est très bien situé au coeur d'Anvers, donc pratique pour visite, restaurants... Le problème c'est aussi sa situation au coeur de la vie, près de la gare centrale. Vous ne pouvez pas laisser de fenêtre ouverte...Trop bruyant. C'est un compromis. Pour garer son véhicule le parking Opéra est à 5mn à pieds de l'Hotel. 28€ pour 17h de stationnement. Rapport Qualité/Prix proposé par Hotel.com très correct

Bed was too soft. There were mosquitos in the room. You had to make your own bed and the shoer did not have a hilder so you have to hold the shower while showering The booking is misleading as we were looking for a hotel with parking but the hotel sends you to a parking lot. You do get a discount on parking but still misleading.

Gute, zweckmäßige und preisgünstige Unterkunft. Sehr zentral gelegen, externe Tiefgarage mit vom Hotel rabattierter Parkgebühr ganz in der Nähe.

Parken probleme

Check in was easy enough.. didn't realise it was a hostel rather than a hotel.. so my immediate reaction was to find another place to stay.. But we were given a room on the top floor.. The room was clean and comfortable with basic facilities with ensuite bathroom.. A little worn but seemed adequate for our one night stay.. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable and clean.. TV had English channels which was a bonus .. The location of the hotel was opposite the train station.. A few minutes walk from the zoo and about 15minutes walk to the centre of Antwerp.. Shops and restaurants nearby.. In the beginning we were apprehensive about staying but ended up enjoying our stay and absolutely loved its location.. No WiFi unfortunately having technical problems apparently.. Although parking is advertised as available but there is not.. Fortunately we have a blue badge and parked directly outside the hotel on the path Didn't receive any tickets for parking while we were there overnight.. So again a bonus...

I beleive the property is undergoing some renovations. The room was outdated and could tell furniture had been moved around and electric outlets were in odd palces in relation to beds. Bathroom door didn't close all the way but did lock. No AC so we opened windows at night, was comfortable and became mostly quiet eventually. Overall, for the price, after reading reviews I knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. There were plenty of food options withing walking distance and Grand Centeal Statio. Right across the street. Parking was offsite and around 25 Euros a day. It was a comfortable enough stay, but if you're looking for anything close to fancy this isn't it. We would stay again though.

This was an overnight stop and so was OK, but it's not a place for longer stays. The hotel was under renovation mid-June 2025 (which isn't mentioned on Hotels.com) and so it was a bit rough & ready with cracks in walls and workmen in the lifts etc. Rooms basic, beware no AC. It was cheap and seconds from station so did the job. Bring earplugs!

As a tech, the feeling of being an unwitting beta (or alpha) tester was pervasive. Check-in featured a single agent, juggling me and rooms yet to be cleaned with stressed discussion with construction/repair crew, and needing to call someone twice for information -- once for those before me, once to verify my claim that service dogs stay free by law (though he smiled and said "cool, i learned something new today," ive never encountered someone at check-in unaware of that before). the delays caused me to quickly notice the lack of any seating in the lobby. eventually was informed my room is clean and ready and given keys. two tiny elevators serve 8 floors. hallway carpets stained. walked past my room because door was open and being cleaned..? small bits of stuff still on the floor afterward. no airco but an old squeeky fan helped. my bed at home is softer than hotel beds, sometimes its good to have that difference for a back reset, but not so hard that my waking thought was sympathy for detainees who sleep on floors! besides the beds and elevators, maybe the rest is rectified in coming months.. but i wouldn't open like this and open myself to early public criticism. 100 euro a bit steep for this experience; im not picky and i generally go with the attitude that almost anything works for 1 night, but i wont try that here again! sorry folks....

In kamer 509 zitten bedluizen in bed. Moet dringend iets aangedaan worden.

Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen.Das war nicht das Problem. Es war dreckig an allen Ecken und Ende.Der Flur mit Teppichboden schmutzig mit Flecken und Haarbüscheln. Der Wasserhahn war lose, die Handtücher haben muffig nach Keller gerochen.Fenster, Ablagen,Türen, Türklinken und Spiegel waren schmutzig und verstaubt. Den Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption habe ich informiert. Er will meine Beschwerde an den Manager des Hotels weiterleiten.Mal sehen, ob sich in Zukunft etwas ändert.Für mich war es praktisch, dass das Hotel direkt am Bahnhof in der Stadtmitte liegt. Mein Zimmer war auf der Seite des Bahnhofes. Hat mich aber nicht weiter gestört. Das war mir schon bei der Buchung klar.

Infested with bed bugs which means my children aged 3 & 9 were bitten anll over their body all night, with bed sheets covered with blood, Had to keep going to reception 3-4 times because I couldn’t into my room with the key cards, woken at 7am by drilling, one fan in the room which was a complete safety hazard, blade was fitted wrong way around so blew backwards, safety mesh not secure so blades were exposed, the base was broken so it didn’t stand correctly and one turned on it was so unsecured it was moving all over and sounded like a helicopter and moved like it will take off! No one seamed to care and the response was I’ll let the manager know, no care in the world. However the only positive thing I could say is the gentleman who was on the desk on the evening of check in, assisted me to find a night shop to buy milk for my child.

Arrived on the day it was changing hands to become owned by A&O. Should’ve realised what was coming and left. Took an age to check in, the room was disgusting. Never come across bed bugs before and it was infested. No other rooms available apparently. Still itching now. Great location but absolutely disgusting. The bugs were everywhere, in the wardrobe, all over the carpet, even in the bathroom. Never again, ever!

Hotel ligt direct naast centraal en je loopt direct het centrum in. De hotel kamer daarin tegen was echt super slecht. Onze hele badkamer zat vol met mieren en ook zaten er mieren in ons bed, na dit te hebben gemeld kregen we een andere kamer maar ook hier opnieuw zaten mieren. Wij vonden dit erg vies en niet fijn verder zag de kamer er ook heel vies uit en er was veel kapot. Wij zullen dus nooit terugkomen bij dit hotel.

There was blood all over the bathroom sink when we got there. So the hygiëne is bad and the bathroom was not cleaned propper.

Disgusting. Found a nail clipping in the bed. Which shows no one cleaned it. Found hair in the bathroom, again which shows no one cleaned it. Not sure what sort of cleaning job they do. But disgusting is what it is

The hotel has many good points. It's really close to the train station, you only need to cross the road. Internet access works perfectly. And it's quite cheap. But that's all. It's noisy, very noisy. The walls are made of dry-wall. You can hear everything all the time, it's awful. It's not very clean, you get the feeling that despite the room being cleaned every day, it's still quite dirty. The shower is tiny, a big person won't fit there well. And I didn't pay for breakfast so I can'evaluate it. It's important to know everything before deciding to stay at Century Hotel, this was my evaluation.

Das Zimmer war ok, Betten sehr hart und unbequem. Am Fenster war die Klinke kaputt, wodurch es sich nicht schließen lassen hat. Durchgängig offen - wodurch es nachts wiederum sehr laut war. Leider auch keine Klima, somit an sonnigen Tagen zu warm im Zimmer.

De eerste nacht verbleven wij aan de kant van het station. Dit was echt een verschrikking. De hele nacht door hoor je mensen schreeuwen, getoeter etc. De ramen van het hotel zijn niet heel erg geïsoleerd waardoor je het idee hebt dat ze naast je bed schreeuwen. De 2de nacht kregen wij een kamer aan de andere kant van het hotel. Dit was echt een hele verbetering. Hier kon je rustig slapen zonder kabaal. Kamers zijn simpel maar voor ons prima. Komen er alleen om te slapen.

Very convenient for the main railway station. However, quite noisy if you have a room facing the station, as there is always activity outside. The hotel does not have air conditioning and if you are on the top floor and it is hot weather, then the rooms are very hot. If it is not hot, then probably will be fine.

Great location!! basic room, however clean and neat. Faces train station and hear road traffic, but no train noise.

You pay what you get. Just next to the side entrance of central station. The front desk staff greeting all the time at their desk. The bed is really spongy so it depends on people’s preference. Simple neat breakfast but good coffee machine.

The room (506) was simple, a lot of street noise, no air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very kind. The hotel was great, the only downside about our room was that it smelled of dogs.

Average urban hotel with very professinal and competent staff that will do the best off their capabilities to resolve issues encountered during the stay, if any.

I had a terrible experience. Supposed to check out at 2pm they told me I have to leave 10 Am. When I showed them the email conformation I was told that this is not their problem and I have to pay another 14 euros If I want a late check out…

Inchecken duurde veel te lang. Iedereen persoonlijk persoonsgevevenskaart laten invullen is overbodig omdat dit digitaal al gedaan was, en dat neemt dan teveel tijd in beslag. Klanten zijn hierdoor weggelopen toen wij stonden te wachten. Kamer was oud en versleten. Vloerbedekking vies. Tig keer terug naar de receptie omdat sleutelkaart niet werkte. Daarvoor waren we niet een weekendje weg... Enige servicepuntje was dat we hiervoor een gratis ontbijt kregen. Dat werd gewaardeerd, maar was slechts een pleister op de wonde. Het verblijf is al met al niet goed bevallen.

Lovely staff on check in got a free upgrade and moved to warmer room which was comfortable.

In average good value for your money. Do like my stays there. Good location in the city center. Small issue is the frequent malfunction and required renewed activation of the card when you want to access the room.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this stay was truly unacceptable. The hostel provides only a mattress, and guests must make their own bed. The room and bathroom smelled like smoke. Bunk beds were unstable — any movement on the top bunk caused loud creaking. Key cards often malfunctioned. These issues were tolerable compared to what happened next. When I returned at night, someone had taken my assigned bed and moved my belongings. I had checked in that afternoon and was clearly assigned a lower bunk. I made the bed and left some items there. The person in my bed didn’t speak English and insisted I was wrong — which I wasn’t. Shockingly, the front desk allowed them to change beds after check-in and even handwrote a new number on their card. This completely disregarded my booking. That person even claimed my belongings were theirs. I grabbed what I could and went to the front desk. Their solution? Move me to another room. I was forced to switch rooms without recovering everything — including my bed sheet and a backup phone. Staff said there was nothing they could do and had no extra bedding. Later attempts to retrieve my items failed — they said the person was asleep and couldn’t be disturbed. I ended up in a room with no sheets, missing belongings, and no support from staff. Letting another guest override my bed and ignoring theft is unacceptable. I absolutely do not recommend this hostel poor management, zero accountability, and lack of security!

Convenient close to Antwerp train station and local tram and bus services.

Ich habe erwartet das ich durch züge geweckt werde da das hotel am bahnhof ist. Aber ich wurde mehrmals von besoffenen lauten personen draussen geweckt. Ich habe das befürchtnis das das fenster nicht 100% dicht war da man die personen die draussen rum liefen im 8. Stock hören konnte als ob das fenster gekippt war. Unglücklich das gegenüber von meinem Zimmer ein paar war das morgens laut musik hörte und am abends sich laut stritt so das man es sobald man aus dem Lift kommt hört. aber dafür kann das hotel nichts.

Naast het centraal station. Binnenstad met winkels, restaurants etc etc om de hoek. Bus station op 5 minuten lopen. Ik had een ruime kamer. Wel gehorig. Geen waterkoker helaas. Het ontbijt was matig. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig.

Bij het 2 persoonsbed waren de matrassen toe aan vervanging je sliep op de springveren. De badkamer was zeer slecht schoon gemaakt het bloed zat nog aan de muur. En ook het bad was niet schoon. Het ontbijt was zeer slecht. Je had keuze uit bruin of wit tosti brood. En hebeleg werdt nauwelijks aangevuld waardoor je eigenlijk geen keus had. Het betalen niet waars.

Frühstück war besser als zimmer. Leider keine klimaanlage

klacht betreft het ontbijt wat er niet was, maar toch is betaald. Hierover al een klacht ingediend. Hopelijk krijgen we het geld teruggestort

Gutes Hotel, direkt gegenüber dem Bahnhof. Fas Frühstück war okay, zwar keine große Auswahl, aber man kann trotzdem satt frühstücken. Die Hotelzimmers sind relativ groß. Das Badezimmern konnte besser ausgeschtattet sein... Das Bett ist genug bequem, sehr weiche Matratze.

Was prima , ontbijt is te duur €23,00 ...€18-€20 is echt de max .

Very convenient location, can be loud in the night but that's to be expected so close to the Central Station. The room was in excellent condition and very cozy! The staff was very kind, from the front desk to housekeeping. I booked breakfast for my stay and everything was very well stocked with a good variation of foods to choose from
