B&B Palazzo Del Sale

Good location, friendly staff. Nonexistent water pressure, no in room heating in winter (air conditioner must have been locked off by management). Dated furniture and decor.

The Palazzo was situated on a street corner in Ortigia near the waterfront and Fonte Aretusa. We pre-booked valet parking which was a “must” for the old city with a restricted traffic zone.. The room was gorgeous - spacious with a balcony and high ceilings. Breakfast was next door in the Bar Cuccumella. The wifi was good. There were several restaurants on our street and we ate locally. The food was delicious. It was a great stay. Giovanni the owner of the hotel and cafe was outstanding - hard working, kind, reliable and looked after us very well.
