The hotel itself was clean. It had a great shower head with great water pressure. The young girl at the desk was very helpful. There was a sign that said, "Pool temporarily closed", but the wood covering it was rotting and curled up. It had been there for a long time. The pool needs fixing.

Beautiful location, very friendly staff and nicely decorated! It was a great stay. The only downfall was that I was not aware the pool was being redone until I got there… not a huge deal but I would have definitely been upset if it was summer time. Maybe update the listing, I don’t believe that was posted… but not certain.

The bad: This place needs some work. The pool has been covered with plywood. The scary steep driveway is severely damaged. There is no elevator and the stairs are creaky. The manager's office is a junky storage room. The mattresses are completely worn out. The soda machine is filled with out of date products. The good: The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. There is a beautiful view of the mountain and valley. For the price I paid, I would have been much happier elsewhere. One more thing. Expedia hits you with a heavy penalty if you decide to cut your trip a day short. The penalty is almost as much as the room.

This was a nice hotel with a great view. Could use an elevator. The free breakfast was good. The driveway leading up to it was very steep (hence the great view), however is in desperate need of a repaving!

The staff, hotel decor and location were great. The room was clean and cozy. I was pleasantly surprised as I did not have super high expectations. It sucks the pool and patio were under renovations. All in all a good stay, would book again.

We are a married couple who wanted to get away from responsibilities for a brief while to celebrate my husband's birthday! The sky view of this hotel that's posted on Hotels.com looked absolutely stunning so we booked and we did NOT regret it! Friendly atmosphere. Clean facility. Great breakfast options. Amazing view from the front of the hotel! They even have 3 wooden benches for you to sit on and enjoy looking out at everything! The pool and hot tub were closed for renovations, which was disappointing bc they didn't mention that on hotels.com in the description BUT that wasn't enough to keep us from staying again!

Was nervous after seeing the place. The road up to the hotel was treacherous. Couldn’t see when coming down to see if anyone was coming up. The driveway was deteriorating so not safe and when I got up the the hotel there was no name on the building on visible on the door from the parking lot. Did not try the breakfast. Room was clean but the room smelled musty.

This is an older motel but is very clean and comfortable. Motel doesn’t have an elevator. The room and bathroom were extremely clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower does not have grab bar. The breakfast was very good.

This was an ok visit, quiet, very adequate breakfast, but for some reason i. Oukdnt get the room cleaned on request. It was a 5 night stay, and the bathroom woukd get cleaned and fresh towels left, but fir whatever reason, when requested, the rest of the room was never touched. I didn't leave a tip because if this.

Some outside construction/renovation at time of stay (March 2025). Walls were a little thin so you could hear some conversations outside of room. Hot breakfast included in my reservation, which was nice - scrambled eggs, biscuits with gravy, and bacon or sausage links, plus pancakes/cold cereal/some fruit available.

Really a terrific view. Comfy room. The lady that checked us in was really sweet and informative. Toilets are made for little people though. And the TV was ridiculously difficult to operate. We went to YouTube instead

This is the 2nd time we stayed here this year. Back in May we stayed one night and wished we had stayed longer. So, we came back in the last week of Oct. Check-in was quick and easy. All staff was polite and helpful. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was tasty with eggs, biscuits, bacon, sausage as the hot options. There was also fruit, cereal, etc. Saw that the pool was still closed. Our room 202 was on the 2nd floor. It was very clean, and good size. The only "con" was that the bed this time around was much harder and made it too uncomfortable to have a good night sleep(2 nights). Otherwise we enjoyed this hotel very much.

The only problem i had was i prepaid online. They wanted to hold 110 on my card. We were not told about the hold. I understand it but i wasnt prepared due yo my check being deposited the next day. So they locked our room doors 1 hour after we arrived and had gone to get food. If i had not had a credit card we would have been in a bad situation. It should be told up front. I will look for a different place to stay next time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The entire hotel was very clean. My husband really bragged on the breakfast and staff serving breakfast, he stated it was one of the best hotel stays he remembers in quite sometime

The young lady checking us in was amazing, the lady checking us out was inquisitive but only offered excuses. The older woman who didnt want to get up from her desk because she was "eating and doing payroll" was poor. The vending machine was either jammed or out of water, the office had four cases on the floor. She didnt want to refund $2 or give a bottle of water to a 15 year old girl because she would have to get up or give her one the machine took. Crazy a hotel was that strict over a bottle of water.

It is a odd drive up road to the hotel. It is on the mountain and the drive up is narrow and small and does not give much of ease to turn, of which the turn is very sharp.

Great service by Maria throughout our stay. Was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. It has a steep driveway, but then you get the view of the mountains! Close to restaurants and hiking. Please note that there is no elevator. Yes, you have to carry your bags upstairs!

This was a nice hotel with a great view. Could use an elevator. The free breakfast was good. The driveway leading up to it was very steep (hence the great view), however is in desperate need of a repaving!

Hard to find at night, there is a sign by the ford dealership but not a sign on the other side of the road that you have to turn to get to the hotel.

The staff was great, the view is magnificent, and with it located exactly between Ellijay and East Ellijay, all grocery and restaurant options are easily accessible.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but in process of remodeling and space was a little cramped. No elevator so if you have mobility issues make sure you request a first floor room. The views are stunning.

Breakfast was horrible. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. We do specifically like Best Western because breakfast is included. Pastries were hostess donuts. Juice was like water. Gravy, biscuits, eggs, and breakfast meat all came from a microwave.

room was very comfortable great pillows clean breakfast was ok standard others where we stayed much but ok for on the go. Something to munch before hitting the road. The mountain views were breathtaking. The staff was friendly.

Older, nice, clean hotel that seems to have been renovated. Sits on a steep hill overlooking the Georgia mountains. Be aware the drive from the main road to the hotel is a short steep grade. The pool is completely out of service. Looks like they are tearing it out or renovating it. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
