The property is at the end of a short gravel road off a secondary highway. Plenty of parking and a nice view of the woods and field. Even though the home is not huge, there was plenty of room to stretch out. The kitchen was well stocked, linens, soap and towels were provided and the place was clean. It was about 20 minutes from downtown Asheville, and the closest town was surprisingly pleasant with restaurants and grocery stores. Check in and check out was easy and communications with the owners was outstanding. A solid property at a reasonable price, would stay again if in the area.

This house was perfect for our eight person party, with a large kitchen and lots of sleeping options. The location was quiet, yet close enough to all the fun! The views off the front porch are worth booking this rental alone!!

We were looking for somewhere near down town but also affordable with a view. While this place was about 20 minutes away, the view and creek close by were nice. I was expecting it to be a little cleaner and have better seating around the fire pit but overall it was a good trip.

We booked a last minute overnight stay here over Memorial weekend. We enjoyed sitting on the porch looking at the pretty view. The home was clean and comfortably appointed with everything we needed for our quick stay. The owner/property manager were quick to respond to questions and gave excellent recommendations for places to try in town. Thanks for the hospitality!

This was exactly what we were hoping for when we stayed this past October with our family (including grandparents and our two young children). Lots of space inside with a great middle living room/kitchen area to spend time together. The master bedroom/bathroom was especially spacious so there was plenty of room for our son’s bassinet next to the bed. Incredible sunsets from the porch. Would love to make it back here sometime!

This was a quiet getaway, but yet was not far from food & shopping. Nice mountain views & sunsets from the front porch. We appreciated that it was just a 10 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This was a great house, check in was seemless, everything was as described. House was clean and well kept. Local town was nearby if you need anything. We visited Asheville and a few other surrounding areas and had a great relaxing time. Our host, Christian was a pleasure to deal with. Definitely recommend this property to our family and friends. Thank you for a wonderful time.

My family and I had a wedding to attend in the area, and wanted a bigger home to accommodate the whole group. This home was very clean, and was stocked with most all of the essentials like an ironing board and iron, blow dryers, pots and pans, a crock pot, etc, with fantastic air conditioning and comfortable beds. The newly remodeled master bathroom was big enough for four women to get ready for the wedding all together! This was a gem of a honest a great rate! Highly recommend!

The layout worked well for our family. Check in process was easy and communication was good. Location was perfect for what we needed. I would hope we could get our cleaning fee back. Our two issues were that the place didn't seem like it had been cleaned ahead of time by a professional. There were crumbs on the counter, hair in the shower, and lots of dust caked on the baseboards and edges of sink to wall. There were also a few spiders every night in the bunk room, which scared one of the kids staying there. The place also seemed run down and in need of some TLC. If they really cleaned the place and fixed the items that needed fixing / a new paint job, then I think it would be a fantastic place to stay.

Replacement of some kitchen pans would be helpful, as the coating of the frying pans was scratched and not safe. We left after five nights of our ten reserved nights because we were not comfortable for the above stated reasons. Unfortunately, no apology or partial refund was offered.

So happy with this house! The kitchen/dining/living area was perfect for 9 friends to hang out all weekend. The bedrooms worked out great for that many as well. Very happy with location (near to stuff but still secluded and tucked away from the city). Amazing value too! We will likely return.

The home was in a great location close to both Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Catherine and Christian were great and very responsive. Next time I will have to bring the golf clubs with a golf course so close by. Enjoyed the trip and would recommend this home for your trip.

Myself and 6 other guests recently stayed here for a weekend in Asheville. The home was clean, well-accommodated, and spacious for the price. We had a great time in the space with access to trails, downtown Asheville, and the Blue Ridge parkway in 20 minutes or less. The owner had good communication beforehand and during our stay to make sure there were no issues with check in or check out. I would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful hiking trail literally in the back yard. Easy to get to town. The house was very roomy and relaxing. I was really blown away by the hosts and the manager. They really went out of their way to make sure we felt comfortable. Highly recommend!

The layout of the house is great, the master suite is huge, and the view is really nice but the interior could use a good cleaning of the moldings, vents, and floors, and definitely needs painting. Replacement of some kitchen pans would be helpful, as the coating of the frying pans was scratched and not safe. We left after five nights of our ten reserved nights because we were not comfortable for the above stated reasons. Unfortunately, no apology or partial refund was offered.

The home was in a great location close to both Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Catherine and Christian were great and very responsive. Next time I will have to bring the golf clubs with a golf course so close by. Enjoyed the trip and would recommend this home for your trip.

Really nice home in a very quiet area. It was perfect as a home base as we explored both Asheville and north into Tennessee. We would stay here again when we are in the area!

Pleased with the house overall. Location was perfect, not to far of a drive to Asheville. Close to Blue Ridge Parkway and their recommendations were spot on! ( In the welcome binder).

This was a quiet getaway, but yet was not far from food & shopping. Nice mountain views & sunsets from the front porch. We appreciated that it was just a 10 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Stayed for a week to watch my son’s lacrosse games. Very enjoyable nice size great views and short drives to restaurants and shopping. Would stay again next time we are in town.

Loved the view from the front porch! This property is in a nice location, only a 15 minute drive from the heart of downtown Asheville. The bedroom set up worked well for our family. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Eveything about our stay in this house was perfect. Very clean and well stocked. Not far from downtown Asheville, so perfect location. Weaverville had a few breweries (Salt face mule) and decnt restaurants as well. Very private. Perfect getaway house.
