The domes were a unique accommodation experience. Having the availability of the fire was awesome as it was quite chilly at night. The view was beautiful - as you opened the drapes in the morning, the sun was shining and the mountains were there. Loved, loved!! The outside tub was fantastic. Guests can access the lodge at any time. Dave and Matt were awesome hosts and very accommodating in any/all our requests!! : ) Totally recommend this spot!

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable place near Mount Cradle, I’d recommend Wilder Tamania. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Mount Cradle. The property has a lounge area where you can relax in the evening, and breakfast is served in the morning. The dome rooms come with A/C, a fireplace, and hot water. The staff member : Brit gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and being very friendly.

Stunning location, the accomodation is quite magical. The outside bath was lovely and hot even though it was freezing cold during our stay. Owners are lovely people and super helpful. We wish we could have stayed longer. What an experience!

What a unique stay location 30 minutes away from Cradle Mountain and 15 minutes away from Sheffield. Our hosts were wonderful, the eco hut was cosily furnished and the continental breakfast was lovely and with meals available for dinner plus an honesty bar there was nothing to want for....great mountain views a friendly echidna and paddymelons hopping around not to mention the stars at night Wilder was a fantasic experience and we would highly recommend as a great place to stay.

No need by shops or resturants. Tiolet was dirty before we even arrived. When booked it said my room had wifi. It didnt. Only the lodge had wifi and my phone had no service. Seen no staff at all ecept for book in. Room only had one coffee cup for a couple staying. Very dissapointing. Would not reconment.

Loved this unique accomodation my only regret was we had only booked for one night would love to have stayed longer. The host, Dave, was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. He delivered a delicious cheese platter to our “dome” and we enjoyed it just looking at the beautiful view of the mountains. The domes are only a few months old so everything is practically brand new and the bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. Then theres the guest lodge where we were able to get a pre-prepared meal for dinner at a reasonable price and there were lots of gluten free options too. We ate our dinner in the lounge of the lodge and enjoyed the wood log fire. The bed was super comfy and the shower was devine, I wasn’t quite brave enough to use the outdoor bathtub but what a lovely touch and I enjoyed a cup of tea early in the morning just the mountains, the birds and me!! Magnificent!

Wilder was a lovely place to stay! The dome was so cosy and it was lovely to lie in bed with the fire going and a view of the mountains. It is a convenient location for accessing Cradle Mountain and other nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. The meals were tasty and quick and easy to heat up and there was excellent wine! I highly recommend a stay here.

Superb bubble in which we stayed, not far from Cradle Mountain. Everything was very clean, with a breathtaking view of the mountain. The location, sheltered from prying eyes, allows you to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. The bathroom is extremely comfortable, the bed very cozy, and the air conditioning and heating are excellent. Very beautiful decor. On my next trip to Tasmania, this will be my destination again so I can enjoy it even more.

This was the highlight of my stay in Tasmania. The place was amazing! The tent is so cozy, the bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket. The tent even had a fire place that I really took advantage of. The location is gorgeous with the mountains around and really quiet. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

The bed was super comfy and the shower was devine, I wasn’t quite brave enough to use the outdoor bathtub but what a lovely touch and I enjoyed a cup of tea early in the morning just the mountains, the birds and me!! Loved this unique accomodation my only regret was we had only booked for one night would love to have stayed longer. The host, Dave, was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. He delivered a delicious cheese platter to our “dome” and we enjoyed it just looking at the beautiful view of the mountains. The domes are only a few months old so everything is practically brand new and the bathroom is gorgeous and spacious. Then theres the guest lodge where we were able to get a pre-prepared meal for dinner at a reasonable price and there were lots of gluten free options too. We ate our dinner in the lounge of the lodge and enjoyed the wood log fire. Wilder was a lovely place to stay! The dome was so cosy and it was lovely to lie in bed with the fire going and a view of the mountains. It is a convenient location for accessing Cradle Mountain and other nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and checked in to ensure I had everything I needed. The meals were tasty and quick and easy to heat up and there was excellent wine! I highly recommend a stay here.

This place is truly amazing. Every space is so carefully considered, with sentimental touches that make the stay feel warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly and comfortable place near Mount Cradle, I’d recommend Wilder Tamania. It’s about a 45-minute drive from Mount Cradle. The property has a lounge area where you can relax in the evening, and breakfast is served in the morning. The dome rooms come with A/C, a fireplace, and hot water. The staff member : Brit gave us a warm welcome, showing us around and being very friendly.

Our hosts were wonderful, the eco hut was cosily furnished and the continental breakfast was lovely and with meals available for dinner plus an honesty bar there was nothing to want for....great mountain views a friendly echidna and paddymelons hopping around not to mention the stars at night Wilder was a fantasic experience and we would highly recommend as a great place to stay.

Superb bubble in which we stayed, not far from Cradle Mountain. Everything was very clean, with a breathtaking view of the mountain. The location, sheltered from prying eyes, allows you to fully enjoy the peace and quiet. The bathroom is extremely comfortable, the bed very cozy, and the air conditioning and heating are excellent. Very beautiful decor. On my next trip to Tasmania, this will be my destination again so I can enjoy it even more.

This was the highlight of my stay in Tasmania. The place was amazing! The tent is so cozy, the bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket. The tent even had a fire place that I really took advantage of. The location is gorgeous with the mountains around and really quiet. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer.

Just magic. Sleeping in a cross between a kids playground equipment and an igloo. Great fit out and lovely people. So quite so beautiful at the foot of Mount something in the middle of no where. Also a lovely lodge to hang out in and have your Continental breakfast. Cant wait to come back.

We had the pleasure of being the first guests here and it was honestly amazing. The peaceful area, the lodge, the domes. The lodge is majestic with the fairy lights in the evening! The domes are kitted out so you have all the pleasures of a hotel room, it was faultless. The view from the domes are stunning. Our host was extremely friendly and even gave us a bottle of wine on the house! The communication was perfect and they really cater to all of your needs. I'm already planning my next stay!

Had an amazing stay here at Wilder. We really enjoyed being immersed in nature, while still having all the comforts of a hotel stay. The dome, the outdoor bath and the lodge were highlights and gave the experience some depth. The backdrop is breathtaking and it's located not too far from Cradle Mountain which is some of the prettiest landscape in the country. Host (Matt) was great. Everything is well thought out and you can tell lots of love has been put into this place. Highly recommend.

Mountain views also include view of driveways and other people from neighbouring campsite who can see into your bubble. See-through fence around outdoor bathtub. Included breakfast is cereal, toast and instant coffee. Can pay additional for hot meal (pre-made curry and microwave rice), which cost $20+ so we chose to drive to nearby town for dinner instead. Cosy room and bed with fireplace, modern bathroom, clean. Self check in and out. Easy to find. Owner was responsive via phone. Cute wooden communal lodge designed for group gatherings.

Beautiful property and very comfortable stay. Stay in the dome was an amazing experience, very thoughtfully put together. The bed was very comfortable and the views were stunning. Matt and his team have done an amazing job. Unfortunately we stayed only for one night. Will happily come back.
