Very clean, brand new. Well-appointed. We liked that there was a clothes washer/dryer in the room.

A very new property in a great location for exploring the city. The apartment has a kitchen with everything you would need for an extended stay including dishwasher and washing machine (with consumables supplied!) Check-in was quick and the staff were very friendly throughout our stay. We booked a one bed executive apartment which had a large sitting area with kitchen dining facilities and a separate bedroom. The weather was quite hot when we stayed and the only negative is that the sitting area had air conditioning but this did not extend to the bedroom which meant we had to have the window open. If you are someone who goes to bed early this is not ideal in York on a hot summer race weekend as there is a LOT of night time activity. Overall I would certainly recommend.

The hotel has only been open for 3 weeks, which is probably 6 weeks too soon!! The room was not finished - locks missing on bathroom door (just a hole waiting for the lock); no curtains or blind in the lounge area - the hot sun blazed in throughout the day and neighbouring rooms could see in, and finally, no air conditioning - the control panels are there, but not connected to anything. I REPEAT ... NO AIR CONDITIONING. The day was very sunny and very hot and the room could not be cooled down properly, even with the fan that the receptionist provided. Indeed, it was so hot we had to sleep on top of the bed. This was simply not good enough. My guess is that the owners wanted to rush the opening to maximise on the peak summer season ... bad choice!! WE WILL NEVER RETURN.
