Courtyard by Marriott Isla Verde Beach Resort

Wonderful. Recommend highly.

We had a great stay at Courtyard Isla Verde Beach. There is an early check-in process that allows you to get in the queue for a room prior to standard 4 pm check-in time. While you wait, you can store your luggage and access the amenities. We also had a later flight on check-out day and we stored our bags, continued to use the amenities, and were given access to the fitness center to shower and change before our flight. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were also very reasonable for food and drinks. The location is very close to the airport so there is noise from airplanes but it did not bother us. The hotel is right on the beach with direct access to the beach with staff to set up free chairs and umbrellas. The pool was nice with shady areas and there is a ping pong table and basketball goal that kept our son busy. The hotel was a short 10 min. walk from a strip of great restaurants. We would stay here again!!

Love the location right on the beach. Nice pool and a lot of activities. Many bars and restaurants to walk to. Close to airport.

Our room was clean and the staff were great. We ate in the fine dining restaurant and did not have the best meal, one of our fish dishes was overdone and hard cut and my son‘s meal was extremely salty. but we had great service and we enjoyed the casino. One concern was the fold out bed and we asked several times for bedding, but did not get any so one of our family members had to sleep on the bare mattress with only a pillow and blanket.

We enjoyed our stay. Wasn’t sure what to expect from a Courtyard but it was a beautiful property. Lobby was nice, as was the pool and beach. There was a bistro and bar in the lobby, a sit down restaurant and a more casual bar restaurant in addition to the pool/bar. There were food options but we would have preferred a bit more variety at dinner, seems lunch time had more options available. If you want a great ocean view, book ocean front not ocean view. We had an oceanfront room and the view was great. The room was very nice with comfy beds. Needed more outlets around the bed. We loved our ocean front balcony. You are right near the airport. You do hear planes when at the beach or pool but it isn’t too bad. I. The room our balcony had a double glass sliding door which helped with noise. The room air conditioner was very loud. I am a light sleeper and I could still sleep but it made us keep tv on loud to hear it and it also drowned out airplane noise. We would likely stay here again if we are visiting the area again in the future.
