Fairmont Vancouver Airport In-Terminal Hotel

Nothing to fault

This hotel is a very welcome oasis. We were travelling from Anchorage to London with an overnight in Vancouver. We decided to stay at the airport. What a wonderful surprise the Fairmont was!! Having been delayed boarding in Anchorage we arrived later than planned in Vancouver so hoped we would still be in time for a quick drink and something to eat. We need not have worried. The check in was very quick and efficient, the room was amazing and we were quickly in the bar for a G&T and then seated in the lovely restaurant for a superb meal. What a wonderful end to our holiday. There was also an amazing singer/guitarist playing, who made the whole experience magical. We were concerned that being at the airport it may be noisy. It is not!! The triple glazed windows blot out virtually all of the sound to allow you to enjoy the view from your window, watching the planes landing without any intrusive noise. Be aware however that the Fairmont is not well signposted from Arrivals, so do ask for directions as soon as you can.

Perfect location for flying out of Vancouver. Great access to the train into the city. Enjoyed the restaurant, bar, pool, spa and sauna. Room overlooked the runway but could barely hear any plane noise.

Super room, quiet and comfortable. Food at the Lounge also good with service better than expected. Loved the hotel and will be staying again.

Very nice hotel, will definitely be back. Friendly staff and great view of the airport. We watched the planes come and go, it was very fun.
