Very welcoming staff, the hotel has been just built so there is a specific fresh mortar smell in the rooms. Very clean, but no internet during the stay and ! be careful in the bath when taking shower - very slippery plastic the bath is made of (wash your feet before standing in the bath, there is nothing to hold on).

Hard to find parking entrance from street. First room presented dirty: a wall, the coffee table, the bathtub. Offered another, acceptable. Bed comfortable. Requested extra pillows, promptly fulfilled. Bathtub/shower: Footing slippery, no hand rail- must be very careful. Surroundings very noisy: roaring car engines in evening. Cleaning persons did not speak any English; good thing l know some Spanish, but an important request was misunderstood. Desk chair uncomfortable. No food or drink offered.

It's a very nice place to stay. My only issue was that there was not a small coffee pot in the room or the ability to get a cup of coffee in the lobby. It had all your other amenities you would need...ironing board, fridge, microwave, small couch, desk, tv. Very nice and modern with friendly staff.

This property looks newly renovated but, there are so many small things that have been overlooked. Toilet paper holder completely broke. Paint in places it shouldn't be and missing where it should be. Many of the towels are stained yet left in the room for use. The location is great for restaurants and groceries. Staff was nice. Was quiet at night.

This was a delightful surprise.I initially booked this because of location and wasn’t expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel in general. The room was excellent and had everything I needed. Will definitely use again.

This is an old fashioned motel that has been given a facelift. It was a big room and the beds were comfortable but the smell was terrible. Whatever they used as a cleaning product was incredibly strong, almost to the point of overpowering. I guess you get what you pay for.

It was newly built just 2weeks ago and I am little bit disappointed about no break fast and no 1-2 water bottle to drink. There are no nearby breakfast place. Also it would be better if they would have remote to control temp in room because every time I had to get up from bed to set temperature. Overall place is good as brand new and interior is also excellent

Every time I've stayed here it's been great especially for the price. Staff lives on site and doesn't put up with any trouble. Also they have breakfast you can't beat the orive.

I recently stayed at Platinum in Katy with my son, granddaughter, and sister while we were in town for my nephew's graduation celebration. The hotel's location was convenient for our visit, and I appreciated that our room was clean when we arrived. Unfortunately, there were several things that kept this from being a better experience. Even though I requested a non-smoking room, people were gathered right outside my door smoking cigarettes and marijuana. The smoke drifted into the area around our room, which was especially disappointing when traveling with family. The lighting in the room also needs improvement. Several lights either didn't work or provided very poor lighting, making the room feel dark. The room included a kitchenette, which was a nice feature, but there were no dishes, utensils, or cookware available, so it wasn't very practical to use. Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. We arrived about 30 minutes before breakfast ended, but many items had already run out and were not being replenished. I was able to make a waffle and get some coffee, but there were very few other options available, and the juice had already been put away. It would have been nice if the breakfast area had remained fully stocked until the posted closing time. Overall, the clean room and convenient location were definite positives, but improvements to the breakfast service, room maintenance, and enforcing the non-smoking policy would make for a much better guest experience.
