What a noisy room & hôtel! Also: work in progress on the parking, lucky you are if you find a place to park your car…

Beautiful pool and big rooms. Breakfast was mediocre but free. Fitness center was basic but did not have wipes to clean machines. All employees were very nice.

We stayed for five nights and every single staff person was extremely friendly and very helpful. Suites are great for longer stays - w/d and kitchen. The pool, hot tub, fire pits are all terrific. The views and area are beautiful The resort is a bit worn but very clean and the staff is lovely. We have family in the area and we will definitely stay here from now on whenever we visit. I have not experienced a a better hotel in the area.

There was construction of solar panels going in while we were there. The storage sheds were directly below our windows. The workers began arriving at 4:15am and by six we gave up sleeping. We had to park our car in a gravel parking lot and the view is now obstructed by the solar panels. We will not return.

For designated rooms, there was covered parking. You only needed to tap your room key rather than slide it to enter. The room upkeep was outstanding--no scuff marks anywhere, and the furniture was in good condition. The walk-in, lighted closet next to the immaculate bathroom was a plus. A full-length window looked down on the courtyard and across to the mountains. I was impressed that the maids had nice uniforms; the staff was gracious. We came to enjoy the pool which was beautifully landscaped. A sloping water fall emptied into a crystal-clear pool. We were shocked to see a lovely body of water between the pool and golf course. While wading in the pool, we watched the golfers dash off to the next hole. Towels for the chaise lounges were obtained at the office and returned there to be credited back to your account. The included breakfast was just delightful. After telling the cook at the first window which ingredients you wanted in your omelet, you could ask for sausage and potatoes at the next window. Pancakes, fresh fruit and Greek yogurt were also options. At other stations were toast, oatmeal, cornflakes, juice and coffee. What a nice way to start the day! There was a jar if you wished to tip the cook; outside the breakfast room, you could purchase "special" coffee. The exercise room had a bike, tread mill, impressive weight machine and free weights. Our one disappointment was having to leave the pool early as the palm trees above it were being trimmed.

The hot tub was fantastic!

Our room was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. However, it would of been nice to be informed of the construction of the parking lot. There was nowhere to park, we had to park in a dirt lot and carry our stuff a long ways in the 100 degree weather. Then at 7 a.m. the workers began drilling, dumping, jack hammering outside our room. We would have not stayed there if we knew the construction was going on as it was just a spur of the moment get away for us. The pool area was beautiful.

The room was spacious and the staff wonderful. However, the housekeeping was not the best: had to ask twice for facecloth and toilet paper, the sinks in the bathroom were not cleaned neither were the floor in our 5 days stay.

Very basic. No hair dryer room. Very small TV. No hooks in bathroom. Broken picture frame on wall. Bird waste on balcony and huge bird nest on balcony. Bird poop on chairs on the balcony.

We stayed at this resort 9 years ago and we had a wonderful experience,my only 2 comments this time would be. Housekeeping needs to do a better job,it was very hit and miss and the patio had not been cleaned for a long time,and the so called free breakfast should not be served on polystyrene plates,it was very un professional.

Rooms weren't made up on a timely manner. Could be 9 am or 5 pm. Carpets hadn't been vacuumed when we got there nor were they vacuumed the 10 days we stayed. I won’t stay there again.

Room was small and was not very clean, hair in shower, crumbs on desk, etc. Very nice pool area and a nice quiet location.

I recently stayed at Canoa Ranch Resort and while the hotel has great potential, it’s definitely starting to show its age. The property itself is beautiful and well-situated, but some maintenance issues stood out — peeling paint and lifting caulking in various areas gave the impression that upkeep is being overlooked. Upon checking in, we found the dishwasher still full and the body wash container already half-empty, which raised concerns about the thoroughness of housekeeping. There were also small plastic pieces left behind in the bathroom — like the caps from individual eye drops — further suggesting that cleaning wasn't as detailed as it should be. Our TV didn’t work, which required us to change rooms — an inconvenience that could have been avoided with better quality control. The complimentary breakfast was underwhelming. While the price is fair, the food quality was quite low and everything was served on styrofoam, which felt a bit cheap. Additionally, the staff in the food area were noticeably unfriendly, which detracted from the overall experience. Canoa Ranch has a lot going for it in terms of location and charm, but it’s in need of some updates, more attention to cleanliness, and improved customer service to match the promise of the setting.

The grounds were beautiful and would have liked to golf but weather was not cooperative. The rooms needs updating badly. Carpet was worn out and frayed, shower tile had a crack in it. Breakfast needs have more variety from day to day instead of the exact same breakfast every date. Potatoes were not hot temperature wise.

AC was loud. Rug had a lot of spots.

I’m sure this facility was “the Bomb” in “The Day”. It seems a little outdated now. It has a beautiful pool area and the palm trees and pool feel tropical. But the “rattlesnake warnings “ made it hard to relax! I loved that breakfast was included, but the menu never changed. The made-to-order omelets were great! The rooms were cleaned everyday, but I had to go to the lobby twice for toilet paper! The ice bucket was cracked and we had a mess to clean the next morning. Also, we had maintenance come out twice. 1) The shower door was not a perfect fit so we had to get a lot of towels to mop up the water after every shower. 2) the DVD player was not working. It took 2 workers to get it working. So the free DVD’s were a nice touch, but they should confirm the DVD players are in working order. The restaurant across the street was good, but we had to drive to any other food or shopping.

Nice place. Wall was is a little to thin. Would have been nice if there was adult only pool. A nice bed cover would have been nice to make it more romantic as seen in the pictures.

Our room was fine exceept we had no view, there was no place to put luggage on n the room. The closet also housed an a/c unit, that was noisy. To get to the main lobby you had to walk around the building.

Overall, based on the room we had I cannot recommend. The window in the room looked directly into another room, maybe 3 feet away. Almost no natural light came in. Beds poor quality, soft and sunken in, uncomfortable. Maybe we just got a bad room. It was only for 1 night.

I think they're under construction in a lot of things online it says that the grill on the green has full service for restaurant and everything but when we got there they did not. For dinner we could only have a sandwich or a salad and that was that. So that was a little disappointing. I really think that they have a great potential here but they need to make it all inclusive for guests. The property is beautiful the pool was lovely I don't golf but the golf course was I guess okay. So overall rooms were very nice bed was a little squishy for my taste I like more solid. You got to remember this used to be a timeshare resort that they converted into a hotel. Also breakfast was pretty decent cuz it's included. Green valley is very scenic and there is a lot of things to do around there you just have to look it up so to stay here and do things in Green valley it's a nice resort I'm sure there's a lot of places to eat that the locals would recommend.

Unless you want to pay for the suites do not stay here in a standard room. All rooms join a suite, you can hear them talking, smell what they’re cooking. Absolutely no view. Patio doors look into a square wall to wall of the other rooms. Look straight up to see the sky. Horrible is all I can say. Room with one queen bed was to small fir a weeks stay. They would upgrade for a lot more money.

My husband and I booked a queen size room at this property. The room is very tiny. Only One nightstand. The bed sits very close to the wall, which makes it difficult to get in and out of the bed. The sliding door has drapes the hook for the drapes sticks out far from the wall. When exiting the bed and going towards the foot, you have to be very careful not To run into the hook with your arm and shoulder. You cannot be in this room with the drapes open as there is a walkway directly across from your sliding glass door. Also, there is another room that can look directly into your room. The balconies are not usable and no chairs are provided. This is just a small tiny bedroom that connects to the larger king size suites. We were happy to have only booked one night here. We will use a different location in the future.

It is one of the noisiest hotels I've ever been in, either air handlers outside the window, ventilation systems outside the door, the elevator machine room across the hall, and the AC in the room. Terrible.

I will start with the positive. Staff were friendly and the pool was great. It was safe and clean and quiet. We were disappointed by the room itself, which was a bit dated (bathroom fixtures caulked as a fix, no full length mirror in room). No water or coffee maker provided. Elevator was broken. The worst is that our room had a window that opened up to a view of a hallway with windows, so anyone walking by could look in. We were told the window was tinted so no one could see in, unless we turned a light on. So, privacy meant either keeping the curtains closed the whole time or opening the curtains with all the lights off and sitting in a dark room. We opted for the former and spent the time in a room with no sunlight. When I complained, I was told all rooms with 2 queen beds had that feature, so no chance to change rooms since we were traveling with 2 kids and needed one room. So, if you plan to stay there and need a room with 2 queen beds, I suggest you reconsider.

Booked a standard room. The view out the deck was a wall a couple feet away. Upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Only complaint was not enough hot water to fill tub. Breakfast was not a buffet but rather a made to order small omelet which you had to wait to be made. Not much else. Breakfast was a disappointment!!! You cannot take out of room. Staff was very nice. Grounds were clean and quiet. Would go back again.

Ended up not staying, I booked for 1 adult 2 kids, got there and said room was for 2 adults and told me the kids were not allowed, front desk woman very rude

Our stay at Canoa Ranch Golf Resort was really good. The convenience of the golf course right across the street was amazing. The cleanliness of the room upon our arrival was excellent. However, on our second day there, housekeeping was dismal at best. Bed was not made according to standard. Pillows were simply thrown everywhere on the bed. Trash bins were not emptied and soaps were not replenished. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast could have had more options other than omelets and pancakes.

Big Shout Out to Samantha for being amazing at the front desk! Even ever having a challenge day, she still showed up to work & provided us w a great customer service!! Thank you! Also, Felix the Security Guard- was super cool! Made us feel welcomed & was very encouraging w us! Thank you sir!!

It was a great experience. Asked a staff member for a wine opener and extra towels after the pool and they were quick with the service. Room was clean and beautiful!!

We were upgraded and paid an additional $60/night for a better view and suite. Unfortunately the A/C only cooled to 76 degrees. Called front desk and they sent maintenance who said the unit needed freon. Nothing changed during our stay and when I mentioned it to the front desk at checkout, she said there was nothing she could do. Gave us the Manager’s business card for us to call him. It should be him calling us to address our concern. Also the room had some issues with torn drapes, handle almost falling off on the patio door, and burnt out lights. It was not worth what we paid.

Dirty blonde Breakfast lady was Awfully Rude. Her hair was also in our food because she wasn’t wearing a hairnet. Pool was Awesome.

Terrible customer services from the staff on the front desk before 3pm. they claim to be pet friendly, but they have a hiden fee for each pet, so theire frendly unles you pay for it.

The property was great! Clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff was polite and helpful. The only drawback was the dining options. We were a long way from any off-property dining and the golf course cafe closed very early. Also, breakfast was included which is always a win but the options were limited. They had an omelette bar and pancakes but unfortunately I am allergic to eggs. There were very limited options for either picky or allergic eaters.

Spent the night as we were traveling through town on our way to Florida. Disappointed in the lack of onsite dining options for being so remote but front desk did offer a list of local options around the area. Room was nice and comfortable. Resort is currently under improvements so parking was extremely limited. Overall nice property to stay at.

The area around the resort was beautiful in the Arizona way. This hotel seemed very remote when driving at night. I expected the property to be The golf property, but the golf course was across the way and looked to be a different property, not associated with the hotel. This hotel advertises a hot breakfast, and technically it did have that, but the facility was more like a nursing home dining room and meal. I chose to eat elsewhere. Disappointed.

Nice place if you are looking for a remote and quiet place to stay. The rooms are big and the ac worked great. I didn’t play golf so can’t comment. The free breakfast was just fair but it was free.

Was the third time for us, spending a long weekend not too far from home. It is very quiet, with wonderful views on the San Rita Mountains. Many nice places to enjoy not far, from mountain roads to nice places with local artists and the expected Southwest flavor. A couple of glitches quickly acknowledged and taken care of by staff. We will back...

Area is beautiful, dinner at the clubhouse was great!

This place is a 9 minute easy drive from Green Valley. Lovely property. Big room. Pet friendly. They make breakfast omelets on request. We had some hot water issues that were quickly addressed. Only weird thing was the shower design. We'd stay again.

Always a great stay. Here every month for 4-5 days on business. Secluded, awesome condos everyone is helpful & keeps the grounds perfect.

This is a great resort, south from Tucson only about 25 minutes, with a great breakfast ‘omelette to your order’ and spectacular views of the mountains! We got there on a full moon night-very special indeed!!

We upgraded the room and it was an apartment with the most fantastic view. The room had a balcony over looking the golf course and lake. Pool was nice. The breakfast was not so good and no restaurant. We would stay here again as it was luxury

Styrofoam plates and cups are disgusting. Please consider something a little more environmentally conscious.

The free breakfast place or area does not match a Resort facility, it looks and feels more like a middle school cafeteria. Really sad that management doesn't do anything about this. Poor professionalism and hospitality skills.

Excellent hotel with comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast!

Scenic location with pool and golf. The first day the included breakfast with fresh made omelets was good, but the same thing every day was unappealing.

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Tubac area. We were quite pleased with the service at the hotel and with the omelettes cooked to order for breakfast. We needed a corkscrew to open a bottle of wine and the front desk was able to provide one and even opened the bottle for us!

Nice place, pretty clean. Breakfast needs help, get an agreement with clubhouse restaurant to provide.

Love the location but unable to take breakfast to room nor out to patio off breakfast rm as I was stopped on both and Then kicked out before I was done as they were closing. They apparently only have adjoining rooms that r definitely Not soundproof
