The staff we had interaction with were very nice. The rooms were decent. We can tell it was recently renovated but not by professionals by the looks of the paint job. But at least it’s clean. However, we booked two rooms so that we could take our six year old grandson to the pool since the beaches in Chincoteague were still closed from hurricane Erin. When we checked in I asked where the pool was located and was told it was closed for renovation. When we saw it, it was obviously never opened this summer and there are clearly no renovations anywhere near the pool area. Very disappointing to say the least. This information should be advertised on the site instead of selling rooms with a pool listed as an amenity if it’s not open for guests.

The property needs some maintenance the room itself was clean and the mattress was comfortable. The bathroom door did not close and the tub was damaged. The pool was not open in July and the grass was not mowed. The price per night is not comparable to the overall value

The hotel is being renovated & a few minor items could be touched up (for example, some paint drips & nail touch-ups, the grout & base boards retouched), but nothing that impacted a clean, quiet, comfy nights stay. The parking lot & general area felt safe (as 2 solo women travelers). The staff was very friendly & I will stay here again. Look forwarded to seeing the finished motel!

Upon arriving it stated they had pool which was closed. My son was very disappointed he was looking forward to it. The hotel property smells and looks like a garbage dump. I stayed in Room #135 the room had stains all over the walls and curtains! Both my son and I both got bit in the middle of the night. Went to the front desk since nobody was there in the middle of the night. They said they'll send house keeping to clean. I had to go to urgent care since I had an allergic reaction to the bites. Do your self a favor...dont book here. It's definitely not worth it!!!!!!

Loved the NICE refrigerator. Everything was updated BUT for those sensitive to MOLD this place made us sick. We left after 1 hour of coughing. Also found a dead insect in each bed. I'd add the photos but the button isn't working.

Parking situation is currently compromised by supplies for on going construction. I had to park several spots away from my room. Main part of room was in good condition and clean but reeked of weed. Shower/toilet portion of the bathroom was tiny and in rough shape, especially the shower which I ended up opting not to use. Pocomoke in general doesn’t have the best water—it smells, stains, and it’s difficult to get soap to rinse off. While that’s not the motel’s fault, know they haven’t done anything to mitigate those issues. Speaking of water…the pool was covered over/unavailable. It is the “Studio” now and therefore seems to have a lot of longer term residents. Do with that information what you will. Overall would not recommend, especially if you are someone just passing through.
