Great location. Welcoming reception staff. Bedroom bright, very clean & quiet. Secure, free parking & great choice at breakfast. Overall would definitely stay here again.

Clean towels delivered even though we didn’t need our room serviced which was excellent. Situated right next to Trim Castle which is lovely to walk around. Lovely gift shop in reception area. Breakfast was fantastic, catered for gluten free and the sausages are the nicest gf sausages I have ever had. We will definitely go back.

Expedia says they have laundry facilities. The hotel can send your laundry out for a fee. Takes 24 hours to return.

The outdoor appearance actually belied what was within! A wow factor on entering with friendly and helpful staff at reception. Our room was spacious and very clean and the roof top terrace was amazing overlooking Trim Castle and hosting two weddings during our short stay. The staff in the restaurant were attentive, good menu choice and well presented delicious food. Breakfast was equally good, served on the first floor with waitress service. Kilkenny Design shop situated within the hotel for anyone wishing to pick up souvenirs. A most enjoyable stay!

It is a nice property with a beautiful view, but very disappointing that the rooftop bar was closed and the Jules restaurant was not an option for dinner, because it just opens in the weekends. The bar menu is ok though. Very nice location.

Lovely hotel with stunning views across the road to the castle. Friendly and helpful staff. No pool on site but can use nearby leisure facility. Hotel right next to all town amenities (shops, pubs, cafes).

Hotel was very clean and the room was really spacious and bright. Check in at 4pm was very late. The queue of people to check in was so long and only 1 staff member working (a second person did come along eventually), as the check ins weren't spread out a little. Staff weren't overly friendly at the reception desk, but the breakfast staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really good, but the cereals/jucies/pastries could be in a self/service area to avoid waiting during busier times. Great gluten free options in the cafe.

The property is well situated for an easy walk to town,the castle, and the church. Clean and nice balcony to view castle at night. Our room was good, but very warm with no cooling air conditioning, so we opened the window for some air, which didn't help much. Our room was in the back over the parking lot, and I was kept up from 11:00 till 2:00 with the sounds of people partying on Saturday night. The breakfast was delicious.

Very tidy clean lovely staff.

Room was clean but 'king bed' was two twins pushed together - mattresses needed to be flipped as they sloped to the outside. We didn't get clean towels (or clean glasses) for the room service even though we left the used towels on the tub. We had to request clean towels. The breakfast was unimpressive. The staff was all business... not the friendly interaction we were used to at all the other hotels we stayed at in Ireland. Location was good for the castle tour (recommend the guided tour). Best part were the dinners we had at the Stockhouse restaurant across the street. Exceptional food and friendly staff.

We found that the property is staring to show its age and is in need of a good overall cleaning and freshening up

The staff was wonderful! Very pleasant and helpful. My duvet had something gross stuck the underside of it. Venting in the bathroom seemed non existent, so the walls ran with moisture and the mirror was fogged up for half an hour after a shower. The restaurant was noisy and the food was dry, waitstaff seemed grumpy. But, it’s directly across the street from the castle. Locational location location

The Trim Castle Hotel was situated right in the downtown area (a small town) of Trim. We were able to walk to dinner and also to Aldi. The town is charming. The room was quite large, seemed to have been recently renovated, and room 114 had AC (which, according to past reviews, many did not). Beds were VERY comfortable.. The bathroom was immaculate, but it had a high tub, which might be difficult to step into if you have mobility issues. We had to leave at 6 am to drive to the Dublin airport, and the staff fixed us some simple to-go boxed breakfasts. We would stay here again if ever in the area!

The live music until 2am was extremely excessive for a hotel of this magnitude. Wouldn’t stay again. Staff was amazing. Rooms were great but if you don’t have a venue for live music that does not interfere with a significant number of guests, you should not offer it.

Great location w/i easy walking distance of local pubs & Trim Castle. Comfortable room. Delightful staff. Our room was on the west facing side of hotel. It was a very warm afternoon & the sun had been beating into the room all afternoon; felt like someone had the heater on. They don’t have AC there, but front desk gave us a fan. Also - outlets next to bed didn’t fit out adapters, so they let us use an extension cord for hubby’s Capp machine

Beautiful location. Room was very hot and could not turn off the heat. No fridge in room.

Overall, an ok hotel with a good (not great) restaurant. However, the rooms were very noisy due to a wedding with loud music. No warning was given regarding the potential fir thus type of event being held in a central area of the hotel whereby rooms above were impacted with loud noise.

We booked online and when we arrived there was an issue, the hotel was overbooked and they didn't have enough beds for our group. Eva at the front desk worked some magic and moved somethings around and we were able to stay at the hotel. The room was amazing. Eva even helped us get a table for dinner, as two tour buses had just arrived and our kids were tired. She and Elvis set us up with a table and Elvis gave us great service. The meal was excellent. Trim was by far the best hotel and dining experience we had in Ireland. Every employee we encountered was kind and helpful.

Booked a night at Trim Castle Hotel to return for a funeral. The room rate was already pretty high but the stay was necessary. Was not told at the time of booking or even on arrival / check-in that there was a wedding in the hotel. The fact that there was a wedding is not the issue but the rooms are clearly not sound proofed - between unruly children room and screaming (wildly) up and door the halls outside the bedrooms until the early hours (as late as 2am) and with pounding dance music (the techno variety not the old school wedding variety) vibrating the bedroom walls until after 2am... It became a bit crazy after a while, so complaints were made but nothing was done beyond a comment to say, "well, it's a wedding". I get that but at least speak to the wedding group asking them to not let their kids run around the bedroom hallways or play in the lifts. At least have some form of volume control on the music. At least wrap it up at a reasonable hour. On check out, I wasn't even asked "how was your stay?" or the minimum "was everything okay for you?" It was simply, "Yeah you're all good". I had to complain but tried to do it in a non-NIMBY, understanding way - receptionist just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Yeah, well you know how these things are..." <- paraphrased to be fair. The lack of a heads up, exuberant price, zero customer care or consideration during the night & the "I couldn't care less" attitude of staff on check out really turned me off staying here again

Absolutely phenomenal experience. I was running late for my check in after a long day of travel, arrived at 10:30pm and the attendant at the counter arranged for me to have a packaged breakfast waiting for me in the morning when I left for the airport at 5 am. 10/10 I would suggest this hotel to anyone thinking of travelling to Ireland.

We showed up and there were some issues with the last minute reservation we made. Eva went our of her way to make sure we were taken care of, right down to helping us get a table that night for dinner. Elvis, our server at dinner, was great too, as was the food. We had a great stay, only wish it could have been longer.

I booked my husband and I twin beds by mistake. The ladies at the front desk immediately began trying to book us into another room. That proved more than difficult since the hotel was hosting 2 weddings. The ladies didn't want to rebook us into a "noisy" room due to the joyous wedding parties. They decided to just have housekeeping remake our twin beds into a double. You all took care of us from beginning to end. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This hotel seems very new. It is right across from Trim Castle and the riverwalk. The views are fantastic. The room was very nice and more reasonable than many others at the same price.

Perfect perfect location to explore Trim and surrounding area. Plus - extremely nice rooms - with everything that is needed. Dinner at The Bailey was excellent too!!

If you want a hotel that is close to Trim Castle you cannot get any closer. Reasonable price huge room and nice staff.

Property was in excellent location. It's 40 minutes to Dublin airport and makes for a great last night stay in Ireland. Hotel is comfortable, clean, has nice rooms, and an accommodating staff. Town itself is lovely and the castle is worth seeing.

A nice place in an excellent location.

Nice location, easy parking. Nicely furnished but not very comfortable furniture including the bed. Temperature control was issue as only a partial window opening is available to offer cool air. Overall fine, probably one of the better for the area but not great, the breakfast was just about mediocre.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Beautiful spacious hotel with comfortable A+ rooms. Very courteous and friendly staff. Our dinner last night at Bailey was delicious with a wonderful wait staff and host. Breakfast this morning at Jules was "over the top" - great food, friendly and attentive service staff, and a good place to start the day. We would stay there again. Thanks!

This was our favorite place to stay while vacationing in Ireland. This modern hotel is spacious and clean. The underground, dry parking space was very welcoming during our very wet trip. The proximity to Trim castle was a bonus. Dinner in Bailey's Restaurant was the best meal and dessert we enjoyed while in Ireland!

This hotel has very comfortable rooms and balconies. From our balcony we had a view of the castle, which was a special surprise. The included breakfast was fresh and cooked to order. The only disappointment was the dining option for dinner. Although the food was tasty, the options were underwhelming and the ambience was quite ordinary. Staff were exceptional.

The staff were excellent, the hotel was clean. I would have given the hotel a 5 except for the breakfast. It was terrible. I go to a lot of hotels, I’ve never been to one that has no buffet, and serves such terrible breakfasts. I can only image this is a reflection of executive management in this hotel.
