Beautiful pool area and close to the Paros main area. Nice to have a bar by pool atea. Owner George and his staff were amazing. But rooms need to totally updated. Including the AC units. I paid extra superior room, far from it. Showers tracks were gross with mold. I didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t bring your own snacks or drinks by the pool. I get it that they want you to buy from them. Overall the pool is the best part of the hotel.

The pool area was lovely but closed at 7pm, as most people eat quite late would be good to have it open a little longer …. 8-8.30? Staff were very attentive. A but if a walk uphill from Naoussa Square but also nice to be in a quieter area at night. We would recommend!

super cute and clean hotel. It is a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Naousa but just a quick 10 min walk or 3 min scooter/car ride! Hotel does have its own little parking area which is super convenient. Rooms were clean and AC worked well. Pool was a little chilly but that’s to be expected with the end of September! Overall, perfect little space to stay in Paros!

We were given a very small room which was not the one I booked. When I made enquiries they said they would change after the first night. (We were booked for 5 nights) The bed in the first room was so bad I hardly slept . Very uncomfortable, loud noisy springs and sagging so much, whenever we my moved we woke up. The room was not great and so small it was difficult to move around with only 2 of us. We were moved the next day to a much bigger room which was the one I paid for on the picture on website when I booked. This room was great and we had twin beds which were firm but comfortable. Great size fridge in this room compared to tiny one in first room, and we had a small table to eat at which was great. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our needs. The pool was wonderful, huge and clean. Lots of choice for Sunbeds which were a little tired but okay and a pool bar for food and drinks available. Location was away from main town and a car was necessary but there were buses I think. Coffee shops, cafes across the road which were great. Supermarket a couple of minutes by car. I would only rate this property 3 star but it suited our needs and once we were changed to the correct room, I think the price suited the property.

Summer Shades as lovely place to stay in Paros. It is a decent walk from the centre of Naousa (maybe 10/15 mins) but it felt relatively safe. The staff at the hotel were lovely. They were so helpful when we arrived, they provided lots of information and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. The pool was really good to have and it was never noisy or crowded. I look forward to going to their new hotel in Mykonos.

Hospitable hosts that took care of our every need. Just a 10 minute walk from the fishing village you want to visit. Parking lot makes for zipping in and out with ease. Recommended!

We had a great stay at Arkoulis, thank you to the team working here! The hotel is lovely. The property is beautiful, there were nice plants everywhere, and it has a great big pool, very clean. I haven't noticed such big pools at other hotels, actually. The location is excellent, because it is very close (7 min walk) to the bus station, from where you can easily (and cheaply) explore Paros. At the same time, it is a 15-min walk to downtown Naoussa, so it is very close, but far enough from the noise of the party-goers, which we appreciated. The walk is also welcome with all the eating we were doing: some exercise :) I would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, charm (we had a little balcony where we liked to spend time early mornings and late evenings), nice pool, and helpful staff. Finally, it had the best price out of all the hotels I checked in Naoussa.

The room was adequate and staff was helpful. The bathroom shower was very small and every time either of us took a shower the drain in the bathroom floor backed up and flooded the bathroom floor.

We had an amazing stay at Summer Shades. The rooms and hotel were minimal but clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful when booking excursions etc. The hotel was a 10 min walk to the centre of Naousa which we didn’t mind at all, and the hotel was surrounded by coffee shops, bakeries and super markets, so the location was perfect and it had everything we needed. Overall, would highly recommend staying here!!

Les chambres étaient belles, la salle de bain très propre. L’entièreté de l’hôtel était calme et paisible. La piscine étaient magnifique et comportaient plusieurs places assises. À 15 min à pied du port de naoussa.

The staff were incredibly kind and generous with their time and super helpful for getting around. The room was very nice but the only issue was the bathroom is a bit old and has a slight sewage smell. Also the walk from the town center is a bit grueling in the heat. The only other issue was that they only give you one room key so in the summer the room heats up when you’re not home because the AC requires the key plug. Overall the staff were super helpful with giving us a lot of instructions and support and help with recommendations and getting around.

I don’t understand the reviews for this property on Expedia. we had to switch hotels the second night cause the beds, room, and noise from the road, were so uncomfortable that we weren’t able to sleep. Seriously, I’ve stayed in 1 star hostels nicer than this. Do not believe the reviews here.

I would only rate this property 3 star but it suited our needs and once we were changed to the correct room, I think the price suited the property.

The staff at the counter were wonderful and very helpful, howvever the room was below American Standards with very basic shower and sink that only fits small individuals. Also the facility is out of the area with walking down the hill and back up the hill to get to any food facilities.

Stayed for our honeymoon in Paris. We absolutely loved the pool, ease of convenience to downtown Naoussa. Staff were friendly and very helpful when asking for restaurant recommendations, scheduling our transfers to the airport & overall questions. Conveniently located to coffee, laundry, food, etc. we would most definitely stay again and recommend to others!

We loved our stay here! It was quiet with a good pool and easily walkable into the town. The staff was amazing and even helped me get a hold of the laundry cleaners when I missed our pick up. Couldn’t recommend enough!

We had an amazing stay at Summer Shades. The rooms and hotel were minimal but clean and spacious. The staff were really friendly and helpful when booking excursions etc. The hotel was a 10 min walk to the centre of Naousa which we didn’t mind at all, and the hotel was surrounded by coffee shops, bakeries and super markets, so the location was perfect and it had everything we needed. Overall, would highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect location, anything you asked the staff for was never a problem. On our last day we forgot a bag in the hotel and didn’t realize until they called to let us know. We were already at port waiting to board the ferry and they arranged someone to drop off the bag to us at no charge. Couldn’t believe how lucky we were to receive this kind of service. Highly recommend!!

We had a great stay at Arkoulis, thank you to the team working here! The hotel is lovely. The property is beautiful, there were nice plants everywhere, and it has a great big pool, very clean. I haven't noticed such big pools at other hotels, actually. The location is excellent, because it is very close (7 min walk) to the bus station, from where you can easily (and cheaply) explore Paros. At the same time, it is a 15-min walk to downtown Naoussa, so it is very close, but far enough from the noise of the party-goers, which we appreciated. The walk is also welcome with all the eating we were doing: some exercise :) I would recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, charm (we had a little balcony where we liked to spend time early mornings and late evenings), nice pool, and helpful staff. Finally, it had the best price out of all the hotels I checked in Naoussa.

The pool area was lovely but closed at 7pm, as most people eat quite late would be good to have it open a little longer …. 8-8.30? Staff were very attentive. A but if a walk uphill from Naoussa Square but also nice to be in a quieter area at night. We would recommend!

super cute and clean hotel. It is a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Naousa but just a quick 10 min walk or 3 min scooter/car ride! Hotel does have its own little parking area which is super convenient. Rooms were clean and AC worked well. Pool was a little chilly but that’s to be expected with the end of September! Overall, perfect little space to stay in Paros!

Summer Shades as lovely place to stay in Paros. It is a decent walk from the centre of Naousa (maybe 10/15 mins) but it felt relatively safe. The staff at the hotel were lovely. They were so helpful when we arrived, they provided lots of information and were always on hand to answer any questions we had. The pool was really good to have and it was never noisy or crowded. I look forward to going to their new hotel in Mykonos.

Beautiful pool area and close to the Paros main area. Nice to have a bar by pool atea. Owner George and his staff were amazing. But rooms need to totally updated. Including the AC units. I paid extra superior room, far from it. Showers tracks were gross with mold. I didn’t like the fact that you couldn’t bring your own snacks or drinks by the pool. I get it that they want you to buy from them. Overall the pool is the best part of the hotel.

We were given a very small room which was not the one I booked. When I made enquiries they said they would change after the first night. (We were booked for 5 nights) The bed in the first room was so bad I hardly slept . Very uncomfortable, loud noisy springs and sagging so much, whenever we my moved we woke up. The room was not great and so small it was difficult to move around with only 2 of us. We were moved the next day to a much bigger room which was the one I paid for on the picture on website when I booked. This room was great and we had twin beds which were firm but comfortable. Great size fridge in this room compared to tiny one in first room, and we had a small table to eat at which was great. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our needs. The pool was wonderful, huge and clean. Lots of choice for Sunbeds which were a little tired but okay and a pool bar for food and drinks available. Location was away from main town and a car was necessary but there were buses I think. Coffee shops, cafes across the road which were great. Supermarket a couple of minutes by car. Nice pool, good cocktails! We didn’t take breakfast but across the hotel was a very nice coffee bakery and a supermarket. Scooter rental is a few minutes away. Restaurant Marmitta was also a few minutes walk, just outside the centre, very nice food .

We arrived at the hotel and the room we were given was dirty, it smelled of must. We complained and staff did change our room, however this was only slightly better. The initial room has hairs in the plug hole and hairs on the wall. It was dingy!! When I complained about the smell, staff told me to open a window. The beds were awful. The beds around the pool where old and the cushions were ripped, this looked extremely scruffy. We were offered other rooms but they wanted to charge us another €140 per night. We are a family of 4 and we did not hire a car. I asked staff to arrange a taxi but they told me that they don’t do this. We felt stuck. When I told the staff we were leaving 2 days early as we couldn’t stay any longer, the manager was apologetic. He asked if he could help but we just couldn’t stay in that room any longer.
