Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection

Beautiful hotel in quiet location on banks of Lake Geneva. Make sure you get a lake view room, one of the most beautiful views of the lake and mountains in the world. Hotel restaurant also excellent.

세 번째 숙박입니다. 아침 식사 메뉴도 매우 좋았고 주니어 스위트에서 3박을 머물렀는데 방도 깨끗하고 넓고 좋았습니다. 하지만 1층이라 층고가 낮아 호수 전망은 아쉬웠어요. 그리고 오래된 건물이다 보니 층간 소음이 있었습니다. 저녁에 레스토랑에서 식사를 했는데 아주 훌륭했습니다. 객실의 상태는 전반적으로 우수했으나 수건에서 먼지가 너무 많이 나와서 불편했습니다. 전통있고 분위기 있는 호텔이 잘 관리되고 있어서 반가웠습니다.

A vista é maravilhosa, local maravilhoso, tudo espetacular

We were so looking forward to a 1 night stay here as part of our honeymoon. As regular travellers to Montreux we were excited to finally try Suisse Majestic but were bitterly disappointed. Paid for a deluxe lake view room. The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was very poor and cramped. The shower head didnt stay up, and access was limited. The "balcony" was tiny - very disappointing. Our main gripe was the temperature of the room which was set at 27 degrees - way too hot! We couldnt adjust this as this is "hotel policy". The phone in the room didnt work, so we tripped down to reception. Advised to open the door. This didnt have much effect so ended up with the door open ALL night - not much sleep with outside noise from traffic and friday night revellers. Weed smells started drifting in from about 6am, so we gave up. Definitely wouldnt return.

Lovely hotel - nice bar area. Very close to the lake area and the christmas markets.
