I took my grandchild for the night so they could play in the pool and they had a good time. They only problem was there were no bathrooms near the pool. Will come there again with them

Hotel was clean; breakfast had nice selection. Bathroom could have used updates. Pool was closed, we were not able to use. Communication via texts was appreciated.

Setting was attractive and nightly rate was competitive. Parking lot needs work..

We were happy to have a suite with two bedrooms and a crib to accomodate our toddler. The hot breakfast was also great in the morning. Unfortunately the carpet in the room was very dirty which left all of our feet dirty from just regular walking. The bathroom ceiling was in need of repair and had a large hole over the shower that was taped. The pool was also closed for construction during our entire visit, which was not communicated to us at the time of check in or by email or text. We chose a hotel for a pool specifically, so we were very disappointed to head down in our swim suites and find a huge construction zone.

Nice pool, great breakfast, courteous staff.

Room was clean, but the pool water was so cloudy I refused to go in.

The pool room was so echo loud that you couldn’t hear yourself think. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and went off for an hour while our two small children cried. No fire, so we stayed in our room while the loud alarm kept us all awake. Weird people hanging around outside and in the lobby. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The pool was closed Bed was years old Blow dryer didn't work, when we went to the desk for one that worked ,we were told they couldn't get one until after 10:30 am , we need to be to our meeting at 10, which was a hour away. Asked a guest to use there's, not good customer service. Very fun down hotel not worth 104.00

Staff we dealt with were nice and they took care of our requests nicely (sheets for pull out couch and toothbrush/toothpaste). Breakfast was decent. Ground floor windows didn't lock. Shower pressure was a heavy mist. No working fan in bathroom. Pool looked disgusting.

Dirty curtains, dirty carpet , dirty bathroom floors and counters , smelly hallways ,flickering lights on stairway, uncomfortable bed, and construction to main stairwell.

Somehow the hotel cancelled my reservation so upon check in they had to create a new one. Strange. The property is old and needs updating. Interior carpets looked dirty but may have been just worn out. The entire first floor smelled like marijuana the entire time. Breakfast was fine for what it is. Nothing special.

There was black mold in the bathroom along the outside of the tub. The inside of the tub was dirty.

The carpet and couch in the room were stained. Tub was dirty. We ended up leaving and not sleeping there and no refund. Would not recommend.

Was very dirty lots of broken areas like walls corner of walls broken chairs counters. This property should be shut down (closed) hallways smell musty room smelt musty just very disgusting all together everything about the property was disgusting worn out bathtub chairs taped together couch in room had sex staines all over i have pictures of all my complaints

The staff was very friendly and helpful on both the shifts that I saw. Also, the breakfast was phenomenal, But, the room was nasty because the furniture was old and uncomfortable in the floor was so thick with dirt. My white shoes were black when I left.The linens were clean otherwise I would’ve left.

It was dirty. The carpets need to he cleaned. I have stayed here many times but not again. It has gone downhill. The desk chair in our room looked like a cat shredded it.

It's Michigan, so you run into it, but frequently the area outside the entryway smelled of marijuana. The building itself could use some upkeep. Carpet, walls, all need to be cleaned and freshened, walls painted. Door latch didn't work on the bathroom. Sheets were clean, towels were fresh and clean. So the essentials that mattered, were good. Just not at all the nicest place to stay. The price point matched the expectations.

This place needs a major upgrade. For starters there are no full size pillows, the only set of blinds are the block out. All of the 1990’s furniture was very old and beat up. Large Bathroom but unfortunately could never get hot water to the shower, turned on high for a good 5 minutes before getting in and not a warm shower at all. The sink in the bathroom took forever to drain.Up charge for this hotel for a MSU football game was ridiculous. I will never go back and recommend to anyone spend a few more bucks and go somewhere else.

Typical budget hotel. Rooms definitely need an upgrade. Lack of outlets for charging. Vending machines lack zero sugar or diet options other than water.

The rooms were outdated. Bathtub rough looking, grout on floor cracked and dirty looking. Room smelled musty. Carpet with stains on the floor.

When we arrived late at night there was a crowd of drunk people hanging out in the parking lot threatening to fight, an individual dressed fully in black, masked with only eyes showing walking next to someone who was clearly a prostitute through the lobby, and the host must have casually thrown out the f word at least 10 times when checking in the group before me, also clearly checking in to join a party. The carpeting is gross throughout, and the parking lot and hallway smelled like marijuana. I had a two day reservation and asked for a refund only for the second day, so I could change hotels, and was refused. The only good parts were: the bedding seemed clean and tge breakfast was good. The area around the hotel is safe, but the clientel, host and conditions of the hotel were bad.

I really wanted to love it. The staff was great, the location was perfect for my visit and the price was within budget. The suite was enormous and if anything had been replaced in the last few years they would have hit it out of the park. The office chair literally had the top layer of vinyl/leather peeling off of it, there were nicks and dents in most of the other furniture. The mattress was at least a year overdue for being replaced. The carpet was just, bad. I used to manage a small property, so I get it, wear and tear is hard, but it looks like they've given up if that room is any indication and everything else was so positive, I hope they can turn it around.

The Wi-Fi was hit and miss mostl miss the television had such poor quality unwatchable

The proiperty was very noisy and you could hear the people in adjacent rooms talking. They weren't shouting, just normal conversation. The staff was very nice but the overall, I would not recommend people staying there. The rooms were old and dated.

Dressers were decrepit and broken Lacking kitchen area and no table to sit at. Very empty room. Felt kind of sad

The room was clean and comfortable with a bedroom that had a door to separate it from the living space!

I had mostly an average stay. The bed was comfy and the amenities were as expected. My overall complaint was with the WiFi - it could be sluggish on my tablet while neither my personal nor work computer would connect. I used my phone as a hotspot for most of the stay.

They canceled my reservation and sent me to another hotel "Clarion Point" which was a downgrade as it is more like a motel without a pool as my original reservation, they told me that EXPEDIA overbooked them and they didn't have a room for me even though I paid a week ahead. so obviously doing everything right including paying in full a week before the trip for the peace of your mind is not enough to just go and enjoy your time!! now you pay for a room, make all your plans and go to see if they will give you the room that you paid for or not!!!! very disappointed

Amazing desk staff, it made the stay worth it. Super friendly. Helpful and i appreciated the early check in to accomodate my plans. I wish I had her name to give a proper shout out! The place needs to be updated and I am under the impression that is their plan. For what we needed it for it was good The breakfast was decent..

Took 30 min after check in to get let into our room

I made my reservation 6 months in advance. It has been several years since we stayed here (negative experience last time) but I had hoped by now almost 10 years later things would have been updated. I was very wrong. First thing I noticed was the terrible dirty and worn carpet everywhere. I get to our room and there is only 1 towel for a two room 2 king suite for up to 6 people. And no luggage racks or empty dresser/counters to set luggage. I go to use toilet and it doesn't flush. Down to the desk I go. Jocelyn the front desk clerk was amazing! So sweet and kond, quickly began to get me set up in a new room, cut keys and handed them to me. Just as she did so Brandon the hotel manager literally YELLS at her from the other side of the desk making a huge scene in front of a lobby full of other guests. He refused to let her give me another room. He said he would fix the toilet. His reasoning was it was going to be a busy night. So instead of making a guest happy he already had who was staying for 3 nights, he chose to embarrass a sweet employee in the hopes of selling that room later. I told him I would be back on a few hours and it had better be fixed. 4 hours later it still wasn't fixed and he refused Jocelyns efforts to get ahold of him through two different phones and phone numbers. She ended up still giving us the original room she had wanted to give us because he refused to answer her. Jocelyn deserves a raise! This hotel is filthy also. Avoid it!!!!

It would have been better had i know they are under construction. The fire alarm going off every hour was bothering especially when i heard the employees say that the fire department had to handle it butthey wasnt going to call them.

Worse hotel I ever stayed at. I had to leave after a night and they wouldn’t refund me and charged me for entire stay. We had massive bugs in our room and they said they would be in the next morning with an exterminator and never showed up.

The front desk lady was super nice. Our TV didn't work out she didn't know how to fix it, but she switched rooms for us. The breakfast is very plentiful and good. The service is great the place is clean and safe.

I booked an accessible room at this hotel. I took a chance, coming in from another part of the state, for work. I stayed in it all week, then booked it for the following. Everything was fine up to then. The guy at the front desk, was great. The second Friday I was there, I got a call at work. It's really loud there, but I answered. I was told someone showed up and they needed my room. I was paid up til the next day, Saturday. The woman kept pressuring me. I told I was checking out the next day, but she kept insisting. I told her I would be back to my room from work, til around 6. This is where the worse thing I've had to endure, at a hotel, happened. They insisted on moving MY PERSONAL ITEMS, while I was not there. When I got to the hotel, my stuff was in a different room. I was absolutely beside myself. I told the desk guy I'd expect to be reimbursed for that night. He said the manager would be informed the next day. And in the least surprising part of all, NOTHING WAS DONE. NO APOLOGY. NO NOTHING. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Laura at the front desk was lovely. She stored my cake for the duration of my stay.

They are in the process of renovating, so the appearance is not perfect. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. I will go back.

Dated hotel however it was under construction. Not in an area with walkable places/restaurants nearby.

Location off the Highway... Quick "On-Off" to get around..

I was a bit disappointed that the room itself didnt have many outlets. The few it had were in some not so easy to reach spots without some furniture moving. I did like that the place was only 5-10 away from the Lansing mall and other areas of shopping and restaurants, so that was nice. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

We had a great stay! Beds were comfortable, pool was warm, everything was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. People at the front desk were very kind and accommodating. The exercise room had everything I needed. Location was safe and not far from the mall and lots of places to eat and shop.

Lovely young lady at the front desk. Simple and had what we needed for one night. Close to the Mall and many dining options.

This was absolutely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at very clean and comfortable and at a very reasonable price! Will be staying at again when I visit Lansing! As a cherry on top it is very close to the Lansing mall and too many great places to eat!

The room was quiet and clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The building itself is in the middle of a renovation, which is needed. The rooms themselves are very dated. Breakfast was good. I didn’t use the pool. All in all , I would stay there again if I’m in town for a weekend.

Stayed three nights here. No one attended to the room during our entire stay. We had to go to the front desk just to get clean towels and toilet paper. The television was not high def and was nearly unwatchable. And the “ free breakfast” would have been much more impressive if they’d had some eggs. Alas, they claimed a delivery truck failed to show up. On a prior visit to Lansing, we had stayed here and everything was great. That was far from being the case this time.

We were met by a friendly clerk who checked us in and sent us to a great restaurant. We settled in to a clean and comfortable room. Our morning breakfast was outstanding, at every turn we were asked if we needed anything. ALL staff was great from maid on up to management. We have been traveling for 6 days and none has compared to this Hotel. My wife has added it to her address book for next time. Thank You

This property is showing its age and is in need of a facelift. Still, the rooms are large and mostly comfortable. A refresh with updated lighting and more accessible power outlets would help. Breakfast was OK but they ran out of waffle batter twice during our stay.

No coffee in breakfast room or at the lobby area at 8:30am. Breakfast was all cold food. Rooms need a refreshed decor. Noisy room. People were nice.
