Parking lot was a disaster. Pot holes so deep you couldn't see the bottom. And not just a few, the ENTIRE parking lot was COVERED with them. Driving through in the dark was like a mine field. Room was okay. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was NOT clean. Hair shavings left in the shower. Entire room needed a good dusting. Breakfast food was not good. Could not take any food back to your room, but the breakfast seating area was very small for it being a conference center. Clearly an old building that needs a lot of work done. Sheets hung from the ceiling in the hallways covering who knows what. The only positive was the lady at check-in was very very nice and it's a convenient location. Overall- not impressed.

They were sold out for Mich State game had to wait for the room, but was able to get in just before 4pm. The pool had algae growing on the sides. The hot tube was closed.

The Condition of the parking lot was horrible. The pot holes are the size of a king sized bed. The room was cleaned good enough. The room was humid and had an infestation of earwig bugs. They are harmless but got tired of stepping on a bug every 10 minutes. The king sized mattress was hard as a slab of concrete. The pool was the only nice thing about the hotel and it was even run down. The dry sauna worked and took a moment to warm up. The hot tub was out of service. The ice machine worked. The alternate entrances from the parking lot did not lock during quiet time from 11:00pm to 7:00 like the doors stated. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere but wasn’t going to try and fight for a refund when I had a 4 night stay prepaid more than a month before. The Wi-Fi was very slow and wouldn’t even pull up google. I decided to use my hotspot on my phone instead. The only two good things of this hotel was the rundown pool, and the breakfast was doable for a hotel.

The hotel was clearly older. There was a spot on the bathtub that was chipped and rusted. The halls smelled of linger smoke of a bygone era. The pool was a bit run down and dingy, the hot tub was closed. The heat was turned off in the room so it was very cold when I arrived, but warmed up once I turned the heat on. The interior of the room was updated and clean. Water pressure was lack luster and shower didn’t get very hot, overall it was acceptable for the price but nothing spectacular

First, let me say that I took photos. The first room, #331, we were assigned had dirty towels pushed up against the wall under the window. The floor was warped as water has been leaking in. The second room, #133, was not in good repair. The blanket had cigarette burn marks. The tub caulking was moldy and there was rust around the drain. The vent in the bathroom was not working. Therefore, after showering the room became very damp and humid, even with the A/C on. The room was not very clean and lacking one facecloth. We returned back after a very busy day and evening to find that the room was not made up hence no fresh towels. We went to the front desk, and they gave us towels, but again only one washcloth for the two of us. They said they could not find a second washcloth. The halls were filthy, and bags of trash were out in front of the door of one room. They were not picked up during our stay. Again, I took photos. The ceiling tiles in the hallways were filthy and stained and someone ran communication wires along the ceiling like clothesline. The pool was cloudy. The Spa was empty. The grounds had trash that was not picked up during our stay. Finally, this was a Ramada that was "transitioning" toto a Clarion hotel. We had a little trouble finding it, as the sign out front was still a Ramada sign. Had we known this was a Ramada, we would Not have booked it. In all of our Domestic and International travel, we have only once before had to write a review such as this.

This is an old hotel that badly needs to be upgraded. Things are broken and not fixed (hot tub, ice machine on 2nd floor), printer in business center was out of toner for over 2 weeks. Rooms are supposed to be cleaned every 4 days, however, they only cleaned my room when I “checked out” (I checked out & back in each week). Price was good but uncomfortable place to stay.

We booked the hotel because of the indoor pool but they did not turn on the heat at the pool area. The pool is heated but very dirty, my kid found a death fish inside the pool but they barely doing anything after we told the receptionist. Even though pool open till 10pm but mainly using sunlight so it gets dark after 5pm. Hopefully they can maintenance the pool probably since its more for family time and kids will easily get sick with this pool conditioning.

Pool area is completely unacceptable. A trash bin full of water with trash floating in it, cloudy pool water, dirty floors, broken flower pots, hot tub area taped-off and unusable. Truly embarrassing to show my friend where I was staying because the indoor pool was the reason I chose the hotel. VERY unhappy, and I would not recommend.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. The room was dirty the carpet looked like it had been there for 30 years, it was not vacuumed and had little pieces of stuff (including cigarette ashes all over. The comforter and the sheets had brown stains on them and the comforter had a burn spot. Not only that but my husband went down to eat the breakfast the first morning we were there and he watched tv as he ate. The breakfast was horrible. He took one bite of the eggs sausage and potatoes and then threw them away. The next morning he went down to try and eat again and the general manager came up to him and you need to leave. Yesterday you sat here for an hour and ate, you can not stay down here and eat for an hour, you get 20 minutes to eat and leave. My husband said I was down here so long because it was a nice morning I was watching tv while I ate my breakfast. They got into it and the manager told him that the cops would be there at 11 am on our checkout day. I could not believe he was so angry and put a time limit on eating your breakfast. This was the worst time yet

This property was filthy. The first room they gave us had a broken television and refrigerator. The floor was dirty and the bed looked unmade. The second room was no better. The fridge didn't work, there were globs of some gross gel like substance on the floor and nightstand, and dirty sheets. The television barely showed a picture. There were buckets in the hallways catching water. The hotel sign was taped to the counter. The staff was not very kind. We didn't stay longer than 5 minutes in the second room before we left for a different hotel. This place is gross.

The ceiling tiles in the hallway were dirty, soiled, and some were missing. The floors were dirty in the room and in the hallways. The smell in the hallway made me physically nauseous.The hallways were not vacuumed and therer was trash from the night before in the hallway the next morning.The window frame was pulled away from the window on the outside as if someone pulled it loose to get in from the outside.The pool was not operational. And we were told we had to pay $20 per plate if we wanted to take our "Complimentary Breakfast" to our room.

Hair in the shower. Hairties on the floor that werent ours, room wasnt properly cleaned. Outlets in the table didnt work, they had a surge protector set up instead. Plugged phone charger in and it sparked and shut odf. Cord for blow dryer was melted and unsafe to use. Overall disappointed and wont return. Breakfast was not palatable. Dirty diapers on the ground at the side entrance to our room. Over flowing trash cans. The kobvy looked pretty, definitely faked us out on the rest of the property.

Room was dirty, cob webs all over ceiling, room smelled like smoke as well as the halls, bathroom door didn’t lock, water was Luke warm, roof water stains all over. Outside grass was terribly mowed and bushes were overgrown. No signs on the outside showing it was Clarion. Outdated old bath tub. Very disappointed cut my time there and left a day early.
Room was dirty, cob webs all over ceiling, room smelled like smoke as well as the halls, bathroom door didn’t lock, water was Luke warm, roof water stains all over. Outside grass was terribly mowed and bushes were overgrown. No signs on the outside showing it was Clarion. Outdated old bath tub. Very disappointed cut my time there and left a day early.

My girlfriend and i were doing an overnight date night away from family, kids, etc. We have a sense of humor and were not put off, but I did work in Las Vegas for 11 years and wanted to pass along a couple observations. We stayed in Rm. 294 under the C. Greene reservation and checked in at about 0330 due to my job hours. Immediatelty wanted to take a shower, and while waiting for the water to warm up, notices there was an unused menstrual pad and packaging in the bathroom trash can. We got in the shower and the left housing black platic cover came undone on the shower rod which prevented the curtain from closing. Floor got wet but we cleaned it up. We laid down to watch south park and relax and the tv remote has gray duct tape holding the batteries in. We were also given an explanation of a way to get to the room during checkin that seemed confusing and was a little adventure for us to find the room, but when we checked out the HSKP that we encountered showed us a much faster way to get to the lobby. None of these are earth shattering but combined left us a little underwhelmed at a rare date night. Will probably stay there again because everything else was satisfactory, just a couple of issues.

The hotel was clearly older. There was a spot on the bathtub that was chipped and rusted. The halls smelled of linger smoke of a bygone era. The pool was a bit run down and dingy, the hot tub was closed. The heat was turned off in the room so it was very cold when I arrived, but warmed up once I turned the heat on. Convenient location. Hotel seemed run down but my room was updated and nice. Clean. Quiet. Air conditioned room was great. My showers were never hot, just high end of warm. I would stay in this area but would check out a different hotel next time.

Overall it was a good place to stay for a good price. I did not enjoy being up until 4 am due to slamming doors and loud neighbors. The place is definitely older, but it’s clean! Our room was very clean.

The property has just transferred to Clarion. It is in dire need of updating. There seem to be long term residents who cook in their rooms, causing the hallways to smells. The rooms were clean, however the accommodations are old.

I stay here often, but the main reason is for the access and the price it’s a work in progress. It’s a huge hotel much bigger than the area at the Giants so I can only imagine a huge fixed cost associated. They are restoring the building. It was in pretty rough condition but they’re doing a good job. It just takes a long time For the meantime there’s no direct number to reach the front desk so I have to give service a downgrade the people are very nice when you get a hold of them and accommodating, but you have to track them down like I said forget about reaching on my phone. The design and the upkeep of the hotel are right out of 1979 kind of dark and dingy, but not unacceptable in terms of the cost . The room themselves have been updated nicely, except for the bathroom. They need work, especially the tub in the shower, plumbing.

Never refunded $50 deposit. Don’t smoke or drink and did not have animal in hotel room. Any trash was put in trash bins and any towels used were put by door when checked out. I guess me and my wife are kinda confused. I hope your not one of the hotels that say room was dirty to keep deposit. We took before and after pics just to make sure. We have delt with this kinda situation before if the case.

Rude, unprofessional, several times our room keys failed, upon arrival our rooms were all on different floors even though I called in the morning to confirm we needed an adjoining room and close- told it was all set. Verbally abusive front desk clerk put my room on the 3rd floor with a half mile walking to the elevator, handicap requested. the horrible experience needs to be rectified.

The staff is very unhelpful and rude, not cooperative at all. Rooms need updating ASAP! My room's curtains were totally off track, air conditioner's wall from the inside, looks like a child came and did repairs, very ugly scene. The place is little frayed around the edges, but clean and serviceable. Your standard road house breakfast fare. Rooms were on the bigger side and appeared clean. Location was convenient. Parking lot has its share of potholes - but where in Michigan doesn't. Plenty of nearby places to eat. If you have time - go visit Horrocks Farm Market across the street. Worth it.

Very quiet environment got great rest very easy access from the interstate. Room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed a nice breakfast. Staff was super helpful and very kind.

Staff did a great job keeping the hotel clean. Room was clean and spacious. Hot breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Pool was nice. Hot tub was closed during our stay though. Quiet hotel while being along a busy road. Very convenient location. Close to everything you may need during your stay. While the structure is showing its age a bit, the interior is up to date. Overall, very happy with our stay.

The bed was the best! It was also very quiet which was awesome. The breakfast was not the best. Waffle iron was best part. Pool was not pretty like the photo on the site. Rooms pictured were pretty. We had old carpet and noisy fridge.

The front desk staff was nice. When I opened the bedside drawer it had a bag of Ireo’s and a vape in it. Clearly, the cleaning staff wasn’t very thorough. The bathtub backed up with a foot of water. We had to completely remove the drain plug in order for the tub to drain. There were quite a few signs posted about how breakfast was “dine in only” and no good/drink could be taken outside the dining area. The reality is that the breakfast was one of the absolute worst I’ve ever had. There’s nothing I would have wanted to take back to my room even if I wanted to. The remaining few days we had breakfast at Denny’s instead. The room was pretty cheap (cost-wise) and we pretty much hit what we paid for. That being said, we won’t be staying here again.

My non-smoking room reeked of stale cigarettes. I was very uncomfortable in this old run-down facility - had I not had a late night arrival, I would have gone elsewhere. A " ticket" was needed for breakfast and there were signs everywhere that there would be a $20 charge for taking food to the room - the food was not worth it - poor quality and the coffee looked like weak tea. I would recommend avoiding this place!

I liked the retro lobby. The rooms were clean, and staff was super friendly. Only one set of elevators for a huge hotel is a bit inconvenient,the hike to your room was also a bit inconvenient. Upstairs layout was like a labyrinth because its huge and improper directory signs. No ice anywhere. Crammed breakfast area was uncomfortable and chaotic, food was bad. They are remodeling so i am sure it will improve.

I just want to start off by saying the evening staff member, I cannot remember his name was so helpful through the difficulties I experienced. The first room was smoked out with marijuana smell, and I thought the room I booked was non-smoking. I went to the store to get air freshener to not be a burden only to pull back the sheets and there was hair and crumbs like the sheets were never changed. There look like bedbug residue. I was changed into a much better room and finished my stay. I really like to know who is holding these stays accountable for bugs??
I just want to start off by saying the evening staff member, I cannot remember his name was so helpful through the difficulties I experienced. The first room was smoked out with marijuana smell, and I thought the room I booked was non-smoking. I went to the store to get air freshener to not be a burden only to pull back the sheets and there was hair and crumbs like the sheets were never changed. There look like bedbug residue. I was changed into a much better room and finished my stay. I really like to know who is holding these stays accountable for bugs??

The room was infested with little flies and it hadn't been cleaned properly. The shampoo bottle was already partially used there was no soap and the coffee maker still had an old coffee pod in it. The bath tub had mold around it and the blankets and sheets were stained.

Everything was good except you have to have a deposit down at time of paying for the room. And on top of that I did not receive my deposit back which you are told that the full deposit comes back to you if there's no bumps in the road, which there wasn't with me.

The room was better than expected. The property is a little off putting. There is a slight smell of mold and the ceiling tiles down the hall are a little stained. However, my room was clean and there was also a clean fridge for me to store my things from the market. Bed was also clean and comfy. Also, I wasn't aware of the deposit required to check in, so be ready. Just make sure to abide by the rules and they give it back, no problem. I'll be back again when I'm in the area.
