A great stay for family, lots to do. Walking, bike riding, running, sup boarding, swimming and pumpkin hunting. Just quite busy in the spa so struggled to get in.

This was our 3rd time to lower mill. This house was in a lovely location, very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and bedding great quality. Everything we could need was provided in the kitchen. There was even some toys for the children, they had great fun building the train set. The estate is beautiful we had some lovely walks, the swimming pool is one of the best we have been to in the UK and it’s really easy to hire a boat.

We had an amazing time at Sarah's property. It is in a stunning location and the photos didn't do it justice! The house is much bigger than we expected. It had everything we needed, from the welcome pack to kids toys. We felt like we were on a luxury holiday with all the facilities on site too. The spa is stunning, lots for the kids to do and to entertain the adults too. We had a slight issue with a travel cot when we arrived and the property manager was with us in 15 minutes to resolve it. Couldn't be more impressed with the service and property, from start to finish. We would love to return and would recommend it to anyone wishing to enjoy the Cotswolds. It was filled with games suitable for older kids and the adults. Helpful to have a full kitchen. Good communication with the property manager. It was raining most of our stay so we are very thankful to have access to the indoor pool!

I recently stayed at the property with 4 friends for a birthday weekend. We had a fabulous time & are currently looking to come back in May already! Where to start ...! Location-wise, the house is really well positioned within the estate - 5 mins walk from the main shop / restaurant etc, but still being in the slightly quieter area. The house itself is difficult to fault - 4 big bedrooms, all with insanely comfortable beds & bedding (took a note of the brands to copy at home!). It also has all the kit already there for rustling up whatever dish you want & eating it either inside (at the cool rustic table) or outside on the deck that overlooks the water. I have to mention the furniture - we loved it so much that we had to ask the house manager (great guy - always available) to speak to the owner & find out where some of it had come from! We also loved the welcome pack that greeted us - all the (gorgeous, locally sourced) essentials to have whilst we waited for our shop to arrive. We also took full advantage of the facilities whilst we were there - fitting in paddle boarding, tennis, kayaking, walking, swimming & a spa visit (to recover!). The spa is great - lovely treatments & really knowledgable staff. The onsite restaurant is also totally worth a visit - we ate there on one evening & it was really buzzing, with delicious food & the most friendly staff we may ever have encountered. Honestly can't fault either this particular house, or the estate in general. I think I may become a regular visitor with both my friends and family.

Beautiful cottage for the 4 of us, lovley walks and wildlufe all around, the pools at the spa and the outside one are lovley and warm. Highly recommend you come and stay at lower mill estate.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The facilities on site are wonderful and the spa/pool was fantastic. Clean changing rooms and relaxing experience. The property itself is very cute but we did struggle being a group of six. there is insufficient space to accommodate 6 people. sofas only seat 4 (small people). The kitchen.is well equipped with really decent crockery and beautiful plates etc. The two double Bedrooms are tiny, you are unable to get into the bed from the side and have no choice to manoeuvre yourself rather like a walrus to get in and out of the bed! There is no where to put a glass of water for example. Both bathrooms are spacious. Other small points include:- There was no plug in the family bathroom Hot tap is extremely hot (would burn a child potentially) Light bulbs i lounge and bunk room didn't work. Cutlery is for 6 but description says it sleeps 7. BBQ was too dirty to use sadly. What three words on the location description brings you to the gate that you cannot access with the code given. We had a great time but feel this property is for 2 - 4 people max.

Lovely property in the Cotswolds area by lakes where you can hire all sorts of water craft. Lovely HEATED outdoor swimming pool on site and a lovely pub 10 mins walk away for a great meal and beer. Property allowed a small dog which was great. Would I go again; YES

The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!

Cozy, clean and well appointed cottage located one row of houses back from the lake front in the beautiful Lower Mill Estate development - excellent base for range of family activities. Great host and perfect home!

The cottage is very nicely furnished and decorated. The Lower Mill Estate is impressive and generally very peaceful.. However the cottage is extremely small and more suited to 4 guests than the listed 7 beds. We were 5 adults on one night and struggled with seating, crockery and cutlery etc. The bedrooms especially are ridiculously tiny with no room to move around the beds or open drawers,etc. Some of the descriptions are misleading as there is no view at all from the rear decking due to hedges and and only limited lake views from two bedrooms. Particular downsides were the filthy, greasy oven and microwave. Liam the manager came over very promptly and sorted out a cleaner for the next morning, who was appalled at its state. She did her best but said it would need a further deep clean when we left. The metal gate and barriers attached to the gable end were very loud when selfclosing. We were awoken at 5am on Saturday by walkers and at 2am on Sunday morning by a car struggling to enter. The banging of the gate continued throughout each day as people walked or drove through. The self-closing mechanism really needs to be looked at. Other issues were the hot taps which go from cold to scalding in seconds. The toilet seat in the main bathroom needs fixing. It has moved back so far you end up sitting on the rim of the toilet, not the seat. Although we love the estate and have stayed in other properties there, I am afraid we would not return to Jess Cottage.

We have just come back from 4 nights at Jess Cottage and cannot fault the property. The host was amazing, very responsive with questions and even gave me a free night of stay due to a mix up with the booking. They have thought and catered for everything such as a fully equipped kitchen, bunk beds for the kids, the small details like a variety of board games, tv in every bedroom, kayaks and so much more. I have been to the estate a few times and would not hesitate to stay at Jess Cottage again.

Good points: lovely styled house, clean and tidy, decent lounge and kitchen area, good location for bikes and walking. Bad points: 1. The two main 'double' bedrooms are tiny. The 'master' bedroom is so small that they couldn't even put a bedside table next to the bed (you can barely walk around the bed in any case). Now I understand why there were no pictures of the 'master' bedroom on the listing. The second 'double' bedroom also has no space at all for a suitcase of any kind in the room. Ironically the kids bedroom is the only one with any floor space. 2. The only shower is very low. Anyone 5'8" or above needs to crouch down to get under it. Not ideal. 3. The towels provided were tiny and no real use, so you'll need to bring your own. Overall, a very mixed bag from our perspective. At £900 for four nights (off peak), it fell well short of my expectations.

Our enquiries were met speedily and with a genuine desire to help as these 4 retiree’s planned our active weekend of walking, shopping, eating & drinking. The Lower Mill Estate is a fascinating and beautiful place to visit with so much to do for all ages, the spa looked great (passes in the property waiting for us) although we didn’t get around to going! The house is welcoming, very well equipped, spotlessly clean with some lovely touches. The beds deliciously comfortable and the fireplace hypnotically enjoyable. Thank you Neil for your welcome & thank you Linda for allowing us to stay in your charming home.

Cottage facilities very good met expectations fully. En-suite bedroom very small. Insufficient bath towels for four and only one dry-up towel in kitchen.

We had 3 nights at the house and it was perfect for our group of 8. 4 adults, 4 children and a dog. The kids loved the hot-tub and the MUGA.

We had a lovely stay at Celendine. The house is perfect for entertaining and lots of outdoor spaces. The park is perfect for families with lots of sport to do. The restaurant is good with friendly staff and the suggestion of The Potting Shed for dinner was great. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

From booking to departure and everything in between, our stay at Juniper House was fantastic. Linda and Neil were excellent hosts, informative, supportive and full of knowledge of the estate. The house itself was very well laid out and comfortable. As an enthusiastic amateur cook, I have never been in a rental property with such an array of kitchenware and appliances. The estate is a really great place for families. We will certainly be visiting again.

Property was as listed and the Cotswold water park was a fantastic location. Good amenities on site and something to do for all ages

The house was very well equipped, just like the pictures. It was great for all age groups from age 6 upwards. The paddle boarding was a great success and the park was a big hit with the children. We had breakfast in the Ballihoo which was nice.
