Ivy Cottage at The Chestnuts Holiday Cottages

This was our second visit to Ivy Cottage. It was as idyllic as we remembered. Cannot fault the location, the cottage and the owners. We will definitely return.

Clean property, sizeable for a big family, lovely village, plenty to do for the kids and family with the animals, tennis, fihsing and playground. Great setting for a British family holiday,

Great location and the accommodation worked very well for our family group of 13.

This is our 4th year returning and we love being here. The location is perfect. There was no one around at check out on 1/1/24- understandable but it was noted that a couple of the dining chairs in Ivy were unsafe with wobbly legs and the downstairs bedroom light didn’t work. This didn’t affect our stay as the kids were ‘too cool’ to eat with us anyway but maybe it’s something you would like to address for future guests? Thanks for a great stay. X
