Beds were comfortable, breakfast wasn’t very good and pool wasn’t open

We did not use the pool as it was cold. Although there was gravy; should have a meat to go with eggs.

Pool not working. Trash and supplies found throughout lobby. Tiles broken in bathroom. Supposedly renovating but sad overall.

Very solid hotel, typical breakfast and pool for its type. Clean facility and room. The elevator had a sign that said it was down for scheduled maintenance and would be up by the end of the business day that was there for all three days we stayed. Hopefully they would accommodate people who can't climb stairs by giving them a room on the first floor. Otherwise, no complaints.

Beds were hard, pillows uncomfortable, the air conditioner was extremely loud and kept my children up all night, the toilet wouldn’t flush if you used very much toilet paper, pool was very cold. We asked the front desk for more pool towels and she brought one. Elevator took forever and closed on my son hurting his arm, it didn’t have the safety feature where it stopped closing if it sensed a body.

Our door had to be slammed HARD to make it latch. The toilet seat was loose. The tv wasnt connected correctly so we had to switch around inputs. The pool is teeeny tiny. So is the parking lot. They really over do it on the fragrance in the lobby. I mean if you have asthma or allergies you will struggle bad. Really bad. The staff was super nice and helpful. The maintenance guy went out of his way to help us when he saw we were struggling with our door. That was totally unexpected, but appreciated. Its super close to Worlds of Fun and just off the highway. The continental breakfast was pretty good. My kids wanted to check things out with a blacklight. (I was terrified about what might be found. Haha) Both rooms passed the test. I was surprised to find only 1 spot on a wall. Pillows were soft and comfy. AC was morgue cold, the way i like. Had a little coffee maker and fridge. Overall, if the door wasnt so unsafe feeling i would give a better rating, but it made the night a little scary. Plus the overwhelming smell in the lobby was unbearable.

The only reason I chose to stay is for the indoor pool that wasn't in working condition when I arrived.

There was not enough parking because they allowed trucks hauling trailers, boats, etc to block multiple parking spots and had several blocked off with orange cones which they informed me to move myself. When I went to move the cones, 4 more vehicles arrived and I was expected to move theirs as well. Also it states it is no smoking however after the first over night our entire room smelled of smoke and we both woke up sick from it.

The elevators were down and the staff was very apologetic. It was fine we need to stretch our legs from a lot my drive from Texas.

Property has very little parking. One elevator which was very inconvenient if you are on 3rd floor opposite end. Ceilings have multiple places that are falling in. Sink falling out in bathroom vanity. Clean and great breakfast but too run down. Multiple trucks in area waking us up early every morning.

The floors are really dirty. Dark carpet and could see the dark black dirt.

Very dirty. I had to ask them to come clean the room when we got there because they hadn’t vacuumed or anything there was people’s food from the last day inside. Staff is really nice though.

Hotel was dirty. Hallway carpets were almost black with dirt. And very worn. Television did not work the two days I was there. Lamp shades in room were crushed and had tears. Overall dump.

We stayed here for one night for the chiefs game and it was gross. The rooms were not clean, smelled like pet urine, cob webs everywhere, dirty carpet. YUCK. One of the beds in our room had a huge hole in it also so whenever we went to bed it sunk down. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The lobby was busy but the young lady was nice and attentive to each person. The tv needed to be programmed, she came right away. Then our door would not lock and she came right up to fix it, although she couldn’t she was getting help. Because of the distance of the repair person we were given another room. Now we did see a small roach, you might want to get on that. I must say there’s a great improvement from when we were here in February. On the north side of the building the light is out. Overall it was a nice place stop for a turn around.

Dirty carpets

This hotel experience was pretty bad. The WiFi didn’t work at all, the staff was unkind at the front desk and when I called to ask questions. The tables were sticky from other guests. The staff smelled and looked horrible. The bathtub was dirty when we first checked in. Would NOT recommend.

Cockroach in my room and bugs bit me up all night.

The room was so dirty! The walls had brown stains dripping down them, there were water stains on the ceiling, the beds were tilted backwards so it felt like you were standing on your head when you laid down, there were bugs, it smelled terrible. The rooms looked absolutely nothing like the pictures on the website, not even a little bit. We left within 10 minutes and found a different place to stay.

We booked through Expedia and saw pictures of a lovely clean and modern property. We arrived to find a room that was old, dingy, smelly, and musty. The mini fridge did not work. We asked to switch rooms because of the fridge and were moved to the first floor to the only other available room. The second room smelled worse than the first, the lights in the room were broken, the mirror was cracked, the bed was severely sagging and springs were protruding through the mattress. Again, the room looked nothing like the photos uploaded to Expedia, and the ones that were shown when using the “select a room” feature to choose the type of room we wanted. The bed was so uneven, sunken in, and lumpy from protruding springs that we could not comfortably sleep on the bed, let alone lay down on it even for a little bit. Initially Expedia told me that the photos they have on their website of what the rooms look like are not actual photos of the rooms but references for what they may look like. I informed them that legally this was not true (I am a lawyer), and they offered me $25 credit towards my next booking. I had to continually refuse and threaten to dispute the charge before I was finally offered a refund by Expedia. However, the representative, Pankit, was extraordinarily condescending and pejorative for me while providing me the refund. In all it was one of the worst experiences I have had both with a hotel property and with Expedia. I will not use Expedia or Confort Inn ever again.

Finding a parking spot was a problem. Staff person that checked us in was friendly. Room was clean. Street noise ALL night! LED strip lights in headboard kept room lit up like a Christmas tree all night. AC was not very cool. Complementary breakfast is not served until 7 am - an hour later than every hotel we have ever stayed at.

We first arrived on a Tuesday not super busy yetat the hotel. We checked in right at check in time. The room we got looked nothing like they advertised. We got a double Queen. Room looked cleaned no issues there. As the night went on our kids wanted to look outside to see the rollercoasters. Yes you are that close to the park, Very convenient. Anyhow, my 2 year old son found out our window was broken. Huge crack and a loose piece of glass. We grabbed him away immediately. We closed the curtain and laid down for bed. As the night went on the sounds from the broken window was awful. You are right next to the highway. So all those noise, police sirens going by three different times. Motorcycles reving up and huge trucks. As far as noise goes it was ridiculous. The next morning I went down and told them about the crack. The lady working the desk said " we are aware of the break. The employee didn't tell you about it when you were given that room?" I said ,"No". Why would that be ok??? I want a different room because we were staying another night and I needed rest because I had to drive 3.5 hours back home in the morning. They moved us a few rooms down. The room seemed fine when we went in. We tried the TV it would not connect to the internet. They came up and fixed that. Then we laid down for bed. Multiple times our room would shake. Not sure from what. We could not close our curtains. Even though we were on the 3rd floor I didn't like the fact we couldn't close that.

The wifi kept getting disconnecting on all our devices

We just loved the gal who checked us in! Shu (sp) was personabale and has great customer service skills. She was also prompt to come help me with the room's smart TV. There was a musty smell in the rooms but I'm sure that's because of the age of the hotel and carpets. The beds were super comfortable, but the AC unit in both of the rooms we used didn't work properly so it was a little warm while we were sleeping. There was a great hot breakfast with lots of options...scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy and waffles. Overall, a good stay.

The rooms facing the highway are a bit loud, and the heating system does not assist with this at all. The bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds we have ever stayed in. The pool was closed for two days during our stay, which was not ideal but understandable. The toilet in our room is in an odd location, especially considering the size of the bathroom and available space to have made it a little easier to access. The continental breakfast had a decent variety and we appreciated that so we didn’t have to buy every single meal out during the week. The staff were all phenomenal, polite and ready to assist with anything we needed. They kept the communal spaces and our room clean and pristine during the entirety of our stay. We would definitely stay here again if we ever came back but would request a room not facing the highway, and with an easier accessible toilet.

Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom especially. The only things I can think of that I disliked was the room seemed very humid and you could hear people walking/running in the hall and upstairs, but those 2 things wouldn’t stop us from staying there again. The location was AWESOME for WOF and they had plenty of restaurants nearby.

The bathroom smelled like they had "cleaned" it with a dirty wash rag. It took the entire 1st day to air it out. The a/c kept up but didnt remove the humidity well. The TV reception was terrible, every few sentences it paused and the screen got all garbled and pixilated. None of the lamps worked in the room even though they were plugged in. The property is not maintained well AT ALL. There was trash blowing around everywhere outside.

Everything was fine except that the Internet barely worked at all. And on the last day of the TV remote just stopped working for the TV. Something had changed on the TV and the remote was no longer correct for it.

It was very loud and noise can't sleep at night. The bed and pillow is not very comfortable

Best hotel in this area super friendly staff who are very hospitable!! Very clean rooms with lots of space ! Love all the little lighting fixtures it’s the little details ! ( over the bed lights , little reading lights , tv light , 2 great lamps )

Front desk lady was so kind and thoughtful. Called once I made it to the room to check that I made it ok and if I needed anything.

This hotel was one of the better hotels my family and I have stayed at. For price it was very affortable and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast offered both hot and cold items and the staff kept up on restocking breakfast items as they ran out. The hotel itself was very clean and the pool was nice as well. The only staff member i delt with was Ashley. She was very kind and respectful helping me with any issues that may have arose with my family. She impressed me right from the start when i checked in. The family before me was upset that it was taking to long to check in. She kindly apologized and kept her cool even when they were talking down to her. All together between Ashley and the comfort of the hotel my family had a wonderful stay here and will be back for sure!!

We had a phenomenal stay! Breakfast was delicious and hot. Very friendly atmosphere. Even when rambunctious group came in to the hotel for breakfast, the staff handled them in a very professional and courteous manner!

Very very close to Worlds of Fun. Multiple fast food and Waffle House adjacent as well as a Quick Trip. Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice hot breakfast.

Location was excellent. Condition of the general areas of the hotel was fine. The room had a strong must odor to it. The keys to the room kept demagnetizing even when keeping them away from all electronics. That was more inconvenient than anything. Otherwise it was a fine stay for the couple of days. Breakfast was good and the pool was good. No other issues. Thank you.

Overnight stay in Kansas City for an event downtown. Convenient location, clean, well maintained. Breakfast was plentiful and as good as I would have expected from a more expensive hotel.

Close to Worlds of Fun 🎢 Convenient, you get what you pay for.

This is an older motel, no fridge in the room, outdated and an adequate gym. Pretty industrial and rough area. Beds were stiff and outdated.. one bed had three pillows. The other bed had four pillows. Smell like cigarette smoke on the second floor. For the price that we paid totally under performed towards expectations.

Close to Worlds of Fun and the highway to get around town.

I liked that the property was extremely close to Worlds of fun and that I was walking distance away from fast food restaurants!

Room 303 right opposite the elevator. I was really surprised with how quiet the room was. Not much in the way of traffic noise from the interstate. I got a great night's sleep. Burger King and QT are across the way so very convenient.

Best hotel is this area , best Breakfast, and pool!

The front desk was very kind and room service wonderful. Sunday-Breakfast could have been better, due to waffle machine clogged, had to ask for help, syrup was out and they had just opened.

Check in was messed up and I had to get up, dress and go do it again at 11:45 pm. The hotel needs updated badly and the breakfast was bad. Coffee was colored hot wster
