We passed by for work and stayed 5days. The property is under construction. They started after 10am and the noise wasn't as bad. Due to this there is no pool or hot breakfast. They give you a bag filled with a fruit, breakfast sandwich to heat in your microwave, a muffin and granola bar. Not to bad but they don't tell you this at check in. So if you go and want a hot breakfast (like they advertise) don't go. Other then that the room was clean the staff were nice. Would stay again

Only complaints I have is the pool was small and the pillows was a little flat. Other than that it’s actually the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. Comfy bed, huge bathroom, great breakfast, friendly staff, clean, and big tv. Overall great stay!

False advertising about having hot tub, no hot tub covered with bricks and table, clean and great breakfast.

I stay here whenever I'm in town. Great staff and accommodations and the renovations are first rate.

Parking was a disaster. Due to the number of guests, we were relegated to the back side of the building which was nearly impassable. The parking lot was completely destroyed by construction equipment and vehicles. Luckily we travelled in my full size pickup and were able to traverse the deep holes and uneven parking surfaces. I felt sorry for others that also had to use the back lot.

This property was very clean and the front desk staff was very nice. The beds were comfortable and the room had no bad odors. The breakfast was good. The pool was WAY too cold and we could not enjoy the 5 minutes we stood in it to our knees.

Stay somewhere else!! We selected this property because our kids were on spring break and that they advertised an indoor pool. The pool was ice cold and we were not only family to complain that their children could not use the pool. There was also no Wi-Fi and about half of the television stations were unavailable during our stay. Even though the hotel could not provide their promised amenities, the management refused to refund our money. Our family is done with Marriott properties

We always enjoy staying at Fairfield Inn. Clean and the rooms are the right size and furnished just right.

The room was clean snd smelled good. Only problem we had was their was a roach in the bed. I killed it with my shoe. I was sleep and woke up and noticed it

The room was exceptionally clean. The hotel host was super nice as she even helped with our waffles in the morning. Overall I would stay here again. The staff were friendly too.

It was noisy. We could hear conversations to the room next to ours. There was also a lot of stumping or hard walking in the room above ours. The front desk staff were very polite however, housekeeping attempted to come clean our room 3 hours before check out.

The staff was amazing; however, I was not happy about not getting the type of room I paid for. I actually paid for two beds not a king bed and let out bed, which was less than comfortable.

While paying nearly $300 for a one night stay, cabel tv did not even support ESPN.

We’ve traveled the world in the last 20-25 years.99 % of the time we used Hotels.com for the reservation. For the first time in our long travel history we did not get the room we reserved on the website. And when we travel with sassy, pretentious, easy irritated teens who want each a separate bed ….it’s a big problem. Once at the hotel we’ve been welcomed by a very polite front desk employee who unfortunately told us they did not have two double queen rooms anymore, as we had reserved . They offered us two rooms with one king bed and a very uncomfortable sofa bed. The fuse for disaster was lit. The room were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable, but unfortunately we had to use the sofa beds for calming the teen spirits and that sofa bed is an insult for the hospitality industry. As comfortable as the bed was, so bad was the sofa bed. The view from the window was also absolutely horrible (three major trash dumpsters) ….but overall was a decent experience. I am sure if they had respected the reservation with two queen bed , everything would have been perfect. Breakfast was very, very good. I don’t know who to blame, I don’t think it was Marriott’s fault I blame it 100% on the Hotels.com website and their terrible, terrible system and changes they recently implemented ….a total disaster. The investors in this company should be publicly shamed, they simply don’t care. They ruined a phenomenal travel website and app and now Hotels.com it’s a bad, bad, bad joke !!

The hotel was enjoyable however our tv did not work.

Room Comfort: Bed: broken down. All mattresses should be turned (or rotated) at least 2 times a year. Pillows: too soft and retains heat. Room Temperature: AC unit does not hold the temperature. It varied about 3-4 degrees all night. Room was too hot. Bathroom: was clean. Toiletries: Please consider changing to UNSCENTED toiletries. My husband has asthma and I have COPD. Fragrances makes it difficult for my husband to breathe. Fragrances give me a coughing fit that can last 15-20 minutes and a severe headache.

Lots of unattended kids in the pool creating a lot of noise and chaos. We were on the 3rd floor and there were people on the first floor outside making a lot of noise until after 10 pm. Internet went out therefore no TV at all. We had a 1 year old and a 3 year old with us and they were very disappointed about not being able to watch a show. We got no housekeeping service and we needed extra towels and coffee for the next day so we had to get it ourselves. Why did we have to pay such a high price for a room with no services?

They did not have room keys and had to be escorted by staff to get in your room. No bedding in room for pull out sofa bed. Toilet handle kept getting loose from nut inside not being tight or broken.

We were double charged at this Hotel. The night clerk said our card wasn’t processed when we checked in. So we paid twice. I addressed in the morning, and we were told they couldn’t do anything until the charges were not pending. I followed up in a few days and was assured it would be fixed. It was not. This is a kind of theft by deception. Additionally, there was mold in the Philly cheese at breakfast. The staff at breakfast was lovely though.

I moved and work on a conteact ao i booked this hotel nothing indicates they dont allow same state bookings but it was the attitide and rudeness alao the non caring peraom at front desk.

Friendly staff clean hotel

Found everything very nice. Enjoyed easy on and off location to interstate.

Property was easy to get to off interstate and was very quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly.

Quick check in. Beds and romm were comfortable. Breakfast was as expected. Easy access from interstate.

Good location, walking distance to 2 restaurants. Shopping close by. Beautiful outside area, tables, chairs, fire pit, cool lighting at night. Room clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen as we were only there for 2 nights. Instead we walked to the same fun restaurant that had outdoor seating with table “fire pit” Staff was awesome there.

I ended up at this hotel after coming to Bessemer for my father in laws funeral. I original was at the Hamilton Inn which turned out to be going through renovations and they didn’t advertise it. The Fairfield Inn will be my go to hotel whenever I’m in Alabama . It was very clean the staff was very helpful and friendly.. The Continental Breakfast was everything to me and my Family.. U smell the cleanliness as soon as u walk in the lobby.. I would recommend this hotel to my Family and friends. I’m very funny about where I stay.. They had an indoor pool , laundry room and a fitness center.. The location is also convent to shopping and food.. Sorry I didn’t take pictures..

Vacinity to restaurants, ease of access to interstate, close to shopping.

Friendly, caring staff. The breakfast was great. The phone in our room was not working so we called the desk with our cell phone. There was no ice in the ice machine on the first floor.
