The hotel was clean and our room was quiet. The front door area is still under construction after a few months, so it doesn't look as neat and clean right now, and you have to go through the side door, which is a bit inconvenient.

Currently remodeling, looks great already. Rooms are nice and clean. Great location. Nice hot breakfast. Ice machine on 3rd floor was out of order. Overall great stay!

Good pretty basic hotel that delivers in its price range. Breakfast was good by american standards and varies a little from day to day, which is appreciated for longer stays. For us it felt kind of weird to have the basin out in the room though. Pool area was as expected, great for cooling off after a long day. The jacuzzi was a nice addition.

Property was under renovation. Elevator near room was out of order. Staff was friendly and front desk was very professional and hospitable. Security was in the parkig lot making it safe. Easy and convenient shopping nearby.

Never ending construction zone. I've stayed at the hotel a few times over the past year, and the hotel has been under renovation the whole time and it's still not finished. The main entrance is still boarded up so have to go around and enter through the side door. If it's raining heavily out, the walkway to the side door entrance can get flooded, like the days we were staying at the hotel last week... our feet were soaked walking through 6 inches of water.

The day of check in the front entrance was blocked off for construction. There was no cart to take my stuff upstairs to the 3rd floor. The tub wasnt draing from showering. So i was standing in my dirty shower water. Reported it twice and nothing .

Forced to leave our home due to a flood , we stayed here , all staff were super polite & attentive. Breakfasts were very good & included. Gyn was nice to relieve my stress . Beds were not very comfy , one day only out of 4 days , our room was not cleaned very good , other than that I’d go back.

The room was ok. Walked in it seems like there were pieces of glass on the floor by the bathroom. One of the bed had stain on the sheet, but the worst of all the issues by far is the bathtub does not drain, taking a shower and standing in filthy water just disgusting. JRS Scott

The most issue i had was the cleanliness of the room. I found sunflower seeds on the floor and on the counter by the sink in the kitchenette area. Also the shower walls and toilet area was not cleaned the whole time we were there.

Overall a nice property, clean, attractive hotel, and full breakfast. However, the desk clerk was barely cordial, mumbled everything (obviously wanting to be somewhere else), our first floor room was very noisy, and the bed was very firm. It was convenient for our needs, as we were taking our daughter to catch a late flight at SFO.

Big room, great bed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Easy to park and move around, close to freeway. Neighborhood felt safe. The only downside was shower water, which was cold, but I'm not sure if the problem was only in our room since we never mentioned it to front desk. Overall great for the price.

Was impressed to see the Inn had security roaming the area, outside & inside, 24-7. The WiFi was an issue though. We had a corner room and was not able to get consistent service.

The good: It was clean, breakfast was OK. Overall not bad as hotels go. The bad: Building was poorly insulated. Heard people laughing loudly down the hall at 2:00 AM, and the people in the room above us kept dropping things on the floor, making all kinds of noise all night long. The bed was not very comfortable, had a hole in the springs. Other than that, it was OK.

Positives: beds are comfy and they have different types of pillows for different preferences. Breakfast had a red velvet waffle batter and Nutella that my kids loved. They have Dove shampoo and conditioner in large bottles instead of tiny perfume smelling shampoo. Negatives: our door was broken, cigarette butts were all over the walkway right outside the side entrance. It’s under construction and looks terrible outside. They gave us 3 bath towels when 4 of us checked in. When asking for more, they gave my son a little hassle. No pool towels (there were 6 of us in two room and they gave us 3 towels and said those were the last ones). The hotel smelled like ozone, which isn’t good to breathe. People were smoking pot on the balcony. When I checked in she warned me that cars have been getting broken into in the parking lot, but they have security. I saw a security car with no one in it and the the other time he was sleeping in his car. The parking on the side where she said was “safe” was full. The pictures in our room were crooked and when I went to straighten it, it almost fell off the wall (not a big deal, but it’s just strange and demonstrates lack of detail and care). Bathroom is tiny and the wifi was terrible. It would work, but barely. It would say pages weren’t available, and then show the “page is not responding.” It made it tough to do work.

I'm a guest here because I'm having work done on my home. I am very pleased with my stay. The staff has been accomadating, pleasant and professional.The housekeeping staff does a super job maintaing my room. The kitchen crew does an excellent job every day preparing and maintaning a delicious breakfast. I would recommend a stay here to anyone visiting the area.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Oakland - Hayward I was double charge and was very disappointed, specially on the holidays. Spoke to manager and receptionists, and nothing was done but to wait. Please rethink if you ever thinking on staying there. We all work hard for our money. So don’t let corporate/organizations play with your money.

We did make a reservation and they canceled it. When we came at 3am in the morning the front desk guy said it was canceld at 12 am. We drove 8 hours and we were frustrated that theres no room available for us?. We love staying on LA Quintas locations every where we mostly go. This was a disappointment.

I have returned to this La Quinta a few times now. I really like this hotel. At check in, the lobby is clean, pretty, and very easy to navigate. They have snacks, drinks for purchase, and self serve coffee, tea and water. The check in staff is really nice. They were helpful when we needed to stay an extra night and they made adjusting reservations easy. By far the best part of this hotel is the FULL BREAKFAST in the morning with waffles! Also the Target shopping center across the street is amazing. The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy. There’s a great pool and hot tub area with nice plants. I brought my dog, it was easy to take him out for a walk and they have some good grounds around the hotel. In summary, this place is great and will continue to be my “go to” when visiting Hayward.

Also the Target shopping center across the street is amazing. The rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy. There’s a great pool and hot tub area with nice plants. I brought my dog, it was easy to take him out for a walk and they have some good grounds around the hotel. In summary, this place is great and will continue to be my “go to” when visiting Hayward.

Big room, great bed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Easy to park and move around, close to freeway. Neighborhood felt safe. The only downside was shower water, which was cold, but I'm not sure if the problem was only in our room since we never mentioned it to front desk. Overall great for the price.

Our work truck was broken into and tools stolen between 7 and 745pm. No help from management as they stated cameras could not be accessed due to no onsite manager. Was told their supposed security guard hadnt started his shift yet. Hotel is ok but parking lot is not safe at all and manager doesnt seem to want to be helpful. Just said call the police and it will take time to access cameras. How long does it take to review a camera for a 45 minute time frame? Something seems suspicious to me....i suspect the cameras dont work

My car was damaged in the parking lot. I came down to beer cans and garbage all over in the stall next to my driver side and under my door. The noise of a couple fighting in the hallway and the constant noise from people outside kept me up.

Sorry, no offense to the hotel, but the area of Hayward and Oakland- the area needs to be cleaned up of it's crime, the first thing I noticed as I boarded the shuttle to the car rental facility was to watch your back and not leave anything in your car. Really, I lived in Chicago, and even there I never came across such a warning. But the hotel, poor service, staff - non English literate, Staff at the front desk were polite, got to give them credit for that. There were kids running around upstairs. Had a slight feeling that this hotel also was a home to some low income tenants. Just my word of caution, when coming out here do your research and find a after location to stay in.

The breakfast was great. Lots of choices and plenty for everyone. The king size bed was old, because when you slept on the side, you ended up in the middle because the mattress was not firm. Everything was very clean, but some of the drawers on the dresser kept sliding open. We had to put something in the gaps to keep it closed. We reported it, but no one ever came to look or fix it.

I have been staying in this hotel every year that I come back to San Francisco are for working. The rooms are remodeled, excellent surroundings areas, an acceptable security in the parking lot, smooth check-in, and a great and varied breakfast. Maria, the woman in the kitchen is the best. When she is present or a charge of breakfast, everything is in order and place in.

I have returned to this La Quinta a few times now. I really like this hotel. At check in, the lobby is clean, pretty, and very easy to navigate. They have snacks, drinks for purchase, and self serve coffee, tea and water. The check in staff is really nice. They were helpful when we needed to stay an extra night and they made adjusting reservations easy. By far the best part of this hotel is the FULL BREAKFAST in the morning with waffles! The included breakfast was way above average. Different choices everyday (stayed 4 nights). Breakfast staff was pleasant and really hustling. Our room was only serviced once which was fine but we had to ask for towels.

I enjoyed staying here. The place is clean and the staff were helpful. I would love to stay here again in the near future. The only things I'm disappointed in were the food. I've been to many La Quinta hotels in the past mostly on the West Coast but they always provide enough food based on the people's stay in at the place. As I entered the cafeteria I’ve noticed it was busy on Saturday’s morning. I also noticed the people were already waiting in line for the food to refill. But this place provides slow, especially main dish like an egg and turkey link. I thought I’m crazy so I checked “three time” and the food were gone especially those main dish I mentioned above. Note: I do appreciate for the food that the hotel provides. Don’t take it the wrong way I can alway go eat somewhere else and I know it’s gonna be much better food than what the hotel provides. I usually spend my breakfast between $30 to $60 per person when I go out. But you know one of those feeling when you are super hungry and you know that you are staying in hotel so you expect the food is gonna be there and waiting for you but I guess my expectations were wrong. Partially happy customer!

The location was incredible for what we needed. That’s about where the positives stop. The lobby area is nice and we hung out there to eat dinner or play cards a few times. The access to coffee and hot water for tea all day was nice. What was not nice, was the smell of our room. It smelled like flavored tobacco so strongly. Everything we brought with us smelled like it after we got home. We asked to move rooms and were told they were full. We were given a smoke odor spray that did nothing. Twice we saw other people walking the halls carrying the same spray. The doors around the property never worked for my key. The front desk told me my key was fine (which it was when it came to our room) and that it was likely an issue with the reader on the doors. Luckily, but not particularly safe, the one closest to our room was always unlocked. Except for our last day when we had to load up our car and one of us had to literally hold the door open or we’d have to go all the way around to the front. The room itself left much to be desired. It didn’t feel very clean, the carpet definitely wasn’t clean. Several of our lamps were missing light bulbs and another one flickered so we had very limited lighting. Would not stay here again.
