The property was very clean. Check-in was fast and easy even with a pet. The rooms were pretty standard but definitely clean and up to date. The jacuzzi and workout room are clean and well maintained. Will definitely stay again!

I would not recommend this property. I had to pay $450 because it was one of the last rooms in Gunnison the night I stayed. However, the room was dirty , common spaces dirty, and amenities they promote aren’t even open during the day like the pool and hot tub. I don’t expect much out of hotels but if you are going to charge almost $500 a room , at least keep it clean and have your amenities available.

The staff was great when checking in and checking out and the overall cleanliness of the grounds and hotels were top-notch. As advertise, it is a continental style breakfast, but all of the items were fresh and tasty. I visit Gunnison 4 to 5 times a year And this was the first time for me staying at this establishment; I will definitely be back.

Very basic. Clean. Beds and pillows not very comfortable but OK. Entire place (hallway, inside room, inside microwave) smelled STRONGLY of cleaning chemicals. I wouldn't stay here again just because of that.

Checking in, I thought I was going to have a good stay. Neat, clean lobby, efficient check-in, nice grounds, updated rooms. Great. When I entered my room, I notice a strong odor. I thought it was from cleaning products, and left the door and window open to air it out. After three hours, it hadn’t cleared, and my eyes were stinging, nose running, I had a headache and was starting to feel nauseous. Mind you I’m not allergic to -anything-, but this was an extremely strong smell. I finally tracked it down to the bedding, which I can only assume had been washed in highly scented detergent. There was no way I was going to be able to sleep on/in that, and of course any other room would have the same issue, so I was forced to checkout and find other accommodations for the night. I was out $100 with no recourse. Oh, and a down jacket I had laid on the bed also reeked of the same odor. Airing it out for a week made no difference, and I had to get it dry-cleaned. When I checked out, I told the woman at the front desk the reason, and indicated that they really should use unscented products, as so many folks ARE sensitive to chemical fragrances these days. She didn’t seem to be upset or sorry that this had happened, and certainly didn’t offer any full or partial refund, though I had only been there a few hours (3-6pm). Very disappointing experience.

We booked a king bed room but they offered 2 queen bed . Lady said that that’s the only room available. Room was very dirty and balcony was in terrible condition. I am not sure why this has such high ratings on hotels.com.

Feels recently renovated, but not by the people that bring you Motel 6 renovations* (i.e. not *cheap). Everything felt really well-done. Bathroom, table, bed, pillows, sofa, all good quality and comfortable. Just a really well run motel. Would be happy to stay here again.

Right from the start, my experience was excellent. I had messed up the nights of my reservations (totally my fault) and arrived a day early. No problem! Lala had a room, and gave it to me at my booked rate. (Many place will tell you that you either have to book the extra day online again, or else they have to charge a higher non-online rate.) The room was super clean, the whole complex was fairly new. My big screen TV worked great, and I even figured out how to hook up my Fire TV stick via HDMI. Wifi worked excellent, with lots of download speed (I think it was close to 50 Mbps, awesome for streaming) and had no issues streaming from Netflix and Amazon. The hot facility was especially nice -- they had a nice hot sauna, and a hot tub. I met a number of fellow guests! Breakfast was fairly typical, on the "low-average", with waffles, cereal, breads etc., but I think only one small hot dish (sausage and gravy). But that's a bit of a nit... Also, my room overlooked the golf course, how great is that!

My only real problem was that the staff member who checked me in was extremely rude. I booked my 13 night stay (total $1,400 and change) about 24 hours in advance, because I got notice of a family death and had to come to town quickly. When I checked in, the woman at the counter was jarringly cold as she collected my payment, and when I explained the circumstances and asked if I could check out one day earlier, she could literally only say "you have to call Expedia", and then refused to engage further when I said I had already checked with Expedia (whose chatbot said I needed to talk to the hotel). I understand there could be cultural differences (I believe the person in question is from Eastern Europe) and that business owners will often hold a grudge against people who book through a third party (while still listing with those very third parties). I'm also not the type of person who believes patronizing a business entitles me to the emotional lives of its employees. But I do believe businesses should try to meet the customer's needs (especially one who just dropped a sizable booking on a room that would have surely been empty for most of those nights), and this kind of inhuman, give-money-and-then-get-lost attitude is the kind of thing that will keep me from future bookings, at an otherwise nice hotel in a town I visit several times a year.

From start to finish my stay was great. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helped with finding a place in town for dinner. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and very clean. The free breakfast was just enough, and the dining area was clean and comfortable as well. The property is five minutes west of downtown Gunnison, so you can't walk to dinner, but the location made it quieter. I would certainly stay at this place again!

They have signs posted that you and your dog are being watched by video and, you guessed it, $250 if you get caught not cleaning up after Fido. That’s hardly “pet-friendly.”

We really enjoyed our 5 day stay here. I would compare this hotel to something like a Courtyard Marriott that is maybe less fancy on the outside but reliably cleaner on the inside. The innkeeper who is generally at the front desk is about the friendliest woman in the world. She's super caring and interested in how your stay is going. She offers dining tips and anything else you need. We had a room with a kitchenette which has dishes, pans, and pots with a full refrigerator, microwave and a cook top. It does not have a dishwasher or an oven. Given that it was not advertised as a full kitchen, I was actually surprised by how much closer to a full kitchen it actually was. Truly, there is not a speck of dirt in this place. I would absolutely stay there again. One random thing - so this is named as if it is at the golf course. The backside does look over one of the hole of the golf course and you literally only have to walk across a single hole to get to the clubhouse. In that sense, it's very close. If you actually drive to the course, it's actually shockingly far to get there. So just know that. The course was nice too - though sneaky hard!
