Hampton Inn & Suites - Cape Coral/Fort Myers Area, FL

Needs firmer pillows and bed. The first 3 days we couldn’t get hot water in the shower for 10 minutes! The rest of the hotel, esp the breakfast was excellent!

There is no hot water at this hotel. Absolutely unacceptable!

No hot water for showers was disappointing! Breakfast foods were not available and water at front desk not available to silver/diamond members. We go to Hampton Inns faithfully and this was highly disappointing. 😟

Our stay was pleasant overall, but unfortunately, the hotel only had one EV charger available, and it was occupied during our visit, so we couldn’t use it. More chargers would definitely be a helpful addition for guests with electric vehicles.

I stayed for one night. After checking in we realized there was no hot running water in the shower. We called and they couldn't move us into another room or fix the issue until 7am the following day. In the morning they fixed the hot water problem 20 minutes before Check Out. There is no water heater in the units so to resolve this issue it would have to be addressed wherever the heater is located outside of the unit. So the issue could've been resolved without waking us or needing access to the unit itself. Our stay was beyond inconvenient especially it being a weekend where there is a cold front and no hot water access. They could not compensate us directly for our stay we had to live chat with Expedia and the end result was a meager $50 refund for a stay that cost close to $300. A free night credit would be a lot more appropriate. All in all they do have complimentary Tesla charging. But for a place with EV charging you'd expect a hot shower! Just saying.

The main reason to go to town the day before and get up the next morning fresh is a DAMNED HOT SHOWER!! The shower water temp never reached "luke warm" let alone hot. Front desk comment? "We're sorry, there must be lots of people in the shower." I stay at Hampton Inn and pay their premium to get good hotels. Their quality level is definitely slipping.

Great stay at this lovely property! Loved the breakfast and always available coffee, great touch. Only let down was the unheated pool and pool location - some foliage around the gates so it doesn’t look in a car park would be great

Everyone was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay but everything else was great.

Dirty linen up on arrival and next morning found a bed bug on the head board

Bedding felt dirty and room smelled musty.

Front desk and breakfast staff friendly. Bathroom smells like sewer. Shower sidings rusty. Toiletries should be checked before it’s guest.

Termites in room 406, we woke up the next day with the bugs all in and around our drinks. Inside food, inside the A/C unit and in THE BED!!Hotel staff was already aware of problem but in another room. Took hours to switch our room. Upon packing our clothes before checkout on 4/30/24 we found dead bugs all in our luggage! Hotel staff at checkout was also aware of the termite problem and very nonchalant about it, except the manager on duty at that time. Since we booked through a 3rd party nobody tried to be accommodating

Friendly and helpful staff but there were ants in two of the three rooms that I was moved around to. That was a bit disappointing.

We called Hilton a week ago to explain the nightmare we had last Friday at this hotel I was with my daughter and we get bites everywhere from fleas in the room we stay 5 min and go and she is still with treatment due to those bites, Hilton never reply. We left the hotel and book another hotel.

This property had termites in our room shower had no water pressure and then rooms had to be changed and it was bugs in our luggage and drinks and food

2 days in a row I seen a cockroaches in the breakfast area. That was very gross and I hate cockroaches.

Bed was hard and lumpy, pillows were flat. Paint on the ceiling was cracked and flaking off, and you could see where there was water damage that they just painted over without properly fixing. We were congested whenever in the room, but that would resolve after leaving.

This Hampton is very quiet and the rooms appear to have been remodeled. Very spacious rooms and clean. All the staff we have come on contact with have been friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to an exceptional Italian restaurant and a lovely little coffee house. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Lighting from outside kept me awake all night. Blinds would not work

Very convenient for our trip. Room was very spacious.

Rooms were very spacious, as well as the bathroom. Microwave and fridge available i room. Wide TV channel selection. Everything was very clean. Complimentary coffee was OK. Breakfast is sufficient, though more fruit options would be appreciated.

Let me start off by saying we love Hampton Inn. We always try to choose them whenever we travel and have never had a negative experience. That being said, I would not recommend Cape Coral. We were in town for a softball tournament. When we arrived they put us in the wrong room as we had booked a suite with a pull out sofa. The friendly front desk person quickly made it right. Once in the room we realized there was a very annoying loud sound coming from across the street. There was a generator running that was pumping water. We were hoping it was not going to run all night, but when we inquired with the front desk we learnt that it was a huge problem that had been going on for four months and the hotel had been trying everything to get the city to get the situation fixed, to no avail. When we requested a room change to the opposite side of the hotel, like everyone else on our softball team tried, we were told the hotel was sold out (as was the rest of the city) and there was nothing they could do for us. We were there for two nights and we barely slept. We tried ear plugs, sleeping with pillows over our heads, but the generator water pump sound just doesn't go away. We were told by the front desk staff to follow up with the hotel general manager and we are hoping they can live up to their brand promise to over exceed expectations. The room rate was $50/night more than Holiday Inn when we booked but we gladly paid more because we trust the Hampton brand. Will keep you posted.

Excellent. But walls are kinda paper thin. Load family down the hall. Annoying.

Three issues: * Outlet in kitchen area was not operable. * Could not log on to hotel internet. * Multiple bags of trash collected adjacent to ice machine

Excellent location good value, decent breakfast. The front desk staff were very nice. Plenty of parking. The room was huge and well appointed. The only thing I can say negative would be how much you could hear outside the room but I wear earplugs, so it wasn’t an issue for me, but may be for a light sleeper.

Everything( parking,room,staff) was excellent. Will be returning in November!

No one would come to the front desk as I was checking out at 6am

I was staying 2 nights and was sleeping while some dude walked into my room purposely waking me up so they can check the smoke detector.. NOT SMOKING IN THE ROOM.....I was feeling violated after spending money to rest there.

The only thing that I did not appreciate was before us checking out the housekeeper did not knock on the door and walked in, and I was not fully dressed, but other than that the service was amazing and the breakfast was great and everyone was super friendly.

First time at Hampton Inn in Cape Coral and what a fantastic experience we had. Got in around 6pm and we were tired and was greeted and checked in by Mr. Helpful himself, KOBE. What a wonderful person to have at your front desk, he checked us in quickly, got us ALL the information we would need and handed us extra towels so we could freshen up after our long flight from Arizona. Our room was perfect for the next four nights, huge room and nice and clean. I'm a clean freak so it was a nice change to find the room clean and ready for us to shower and relax in the nice bed with great bedding. The one that shined was Sametha that manned the morning buffet, what a wonderful kind person and so wanting to help to make everyone's breakfast delicious and she was top notch at making sure there was always fresh coffee. What a gold mind you have in her. Our room was just a few doors down from the Maintenace room where Juan kept all of his supplies. The door was opened so I got the opportunity to meet and speak with him, just a kind hearted man, great smile. He does need a larger room :) Had a chance to speak with the Manager, Ja'meria Johnson, great patient lady. We got the pleasure of officially meeting Tina on our last day and what a wonderful down to earth lovely person. We had seen her as we came and went those few days and she was always so cheerful and smiling so it was a pleasure to get to have a conversation with her on our last day. We'd stay here again.

The front desk staff was excellent. The maid service was less than stellar. They did not clean the room or change sheets and towels in a timely manner and when we inquired it was one excuse after another.

This Hampton was very clean and quiet. It is also within walking distance of an incredible Italian restaurant, a charming coffee and wine bar and a CBS or Walgreens if anything was left behind. An easy drive over the bridge to downtown Ft. Myers and more great breweries and restaurants. The breakfast offered was well stocked with good variety. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The hotel was walkable to many dining options in downtown zcape Coral.

Stayed 3 nights,had breakfast at this Hampton Inn and its only 9.30 and everything is over- no scrambled eggs, no potatoes, no nuts, no bread. No bananas. No one bothers to refill. And apologizes for no food. This is ridiculous that i faced this all 3 days during breakfast. I have paid a lot to stay here comfortably but this kind of attitude towards food is not good. Our room didn’t have a chair at the bed side either. No refill of shower gel either. Extremely bad service. More stuff should be available for the holidays but sad situation.

Breakfast was terrible, no bacon left no warm eggs ( cold hard boiled only option) Only a banana as fruit. Also the shower walls had boogers on it. Gross. Staff were ok. Choosing holiday inn next time.

Breakfast was a BIG hit with our family. There were plenty of delicious options that started our day off right. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and served their purpose perfectly. A solid, no-fuss stay with everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Front Desk staff very friendly and accommodating. Did run out of a few things at breakfast so might be better off eating out. Need to upgrade their sheets a bit, otherwise, clean and fine.
