Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Miami - Downtown Brickell - Cruise Port

The service was excellent, both at check-in and check-out — everything was very easy, and the manager was also very friendly when we arrived. The location is good, and there were plenty of parking spots available. The only downside was the strong, unpleasant smell in the room. I’m not sure if it had been closed up for too long or for some other reason, but it almost made me want to leave. Other than that, everything went very well

Dear reader, I have been reading different comments about the hotel prior to my booking people going negative about the breakfast. To be honest if you like to stay like a Queen, Novotel is just across the road, if you can only afford America Premier Suites just be happy for what you have got. To me this hotel is very much a British Premier Inn style hotel which is lower quality to Hilton or Hyatt but what you need a clean bed, shower and location you will have it all. To me this hotel was perfect for my stay technically six months ago I stayed in Novotel just across the road and I was as happy here as over on the other side of the road. I had everything on the cornet, CVS, Publix, Monorail literally Brickell is like so near &easy to get to. I am already thinking of making another booking and this hotel will be my first choice as I have Calle Ocho and all the shops parking everything, and once a week cleaning does not bother me as I clean my own house once a week too but I am a clean as I go guy so have no issue taking the garbage out. Also clean towels are available so I could have them changed like every other day if needed. Staff was nice and helpful, nertheless I liked my inn style accommodation. And I will not hesitate to make another booking in the future at all. I am thankful for this place, I am obsessed with Miami anyways, & Liked that they have had night security and laundry and all that is needed so I am grateful to God for this stay. Bless you all.

I had a nice experience with staying at the hotel. It was quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I was cruising. I did want to say that they no longer offer shuttles to the port if you are cruising but the Lyft ride wasn’t too expensive. The trolley does stop right across from the hotel which I took when I got back from my cruise which is free.

The Hotel does not have any Ice Machines at all in the building.

Front desk staff need welcoming skills and the ability to provide basic information. Room was decent, but bed was very uncomfortable with my wife and I getting no sleep whatsoever. The pillows were tiny, not longer than 18". The bathtub drained very slowly. The best thing was the free parking in a relatively secure lot. For this one reason alone I would stay again for one night. Parking at other motels is very expensive.

The location was good, next to the metro and a shop. Quiet area, even though it's on a main road. Breakfast was the same every morning. When we arrived, we were told that there was an extra selection on some mornings, but there wasn't. When we checked in (on a Sunday), we were told that a 7-day stay includes one cleaning. We asked about cleaning on the fifth day and it turned out that the cleaner only comes on Sundays, which is our arrival and departure day. So the cleaner didn't come at all during our stay, not even to take out the trash or change the sheets! The room smelled strange even though the internet said it was renovated in 2020.

The room smelled like weed and cigarettes, embedded in the carpet. We were only there for 1 night, and price/location was good. Just the room smell..

The hotel was great. Clean room, the area is safe and walkable. The staff was polite and never had an issue. I cant complain at all. Definitely recommend it and Definitely coming back.

It was quiet, the room was clean. The bed sheet had some stains but it could have just been residual. The staff were very helpful, but some guest insisted on smoking in the hallway and stairs. Overall, it’s a good place to stay and affordable. I will stay again.

The smell in this room was horrible. I had to go to Walgreens and by air fresheners and candles. The bathroom was filthy.

Convenient location but horrible overall hotel. Smells really bad in halls and the rooms, found hair in multiple places that clearly indicate the room was not well cleaned, the cars passing on the highway outside are loud, the doors closing from the rooms next door are loud and I could even hear their showers. I could also hear people simply walking in the room above mine as well. Would never come back and don’t recommend. It was a slightly cheaper option than more reputable hotels, but not worth the inconvenience of everything mentioned above.

Nobody was even working at the front desk. Arrived to check in and waited 30 minutes before the clerk came back. Beds are small and extremly uncomfortably, the pillows were awful. Just pay the extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer.

The "On the go breakfast" needs to be updated with more choices and variety of items. You should also have more than 1 coffee pot to serve guests. After about 7am all of the items are gone and the restocking isn\'t as prompt. The muffins were absolutely horrible. The room was noisy, so the blinds should be able to block that out more than it does. You get what you pay for

Stay is great at a good price. Walking distance from Brickell and Downtown key places for tourists. Bed felt new, clean room, bed sheets and pillows. Comfortable and spacious. Big plus to have kitchen options like stove, microwave oven, sink and refrigerator. I hope to come back and stay longer. First time I find 2 computer chairs in a room (great for remote work). Breakfast options were very limited, which wasn’t a big deal for me…

My husband and I stayed for a week and I must say the only problem we had was the bed was too hard (very uncomfortable)I tossed and turned all night evey day we were there.

The rooms were large and spacious and smells great. I had a view of the roadside and part of the surrounding houses.

Close to MTR., supermarket and restaurants. Spacious room very comfortable bed. Great value for that area .

Employees very kind and helpful

Showed and front desk lady was rude and then I had reservations for a room with queen bed and they gave me a room with 2 small bed and me and my wife had to sleep in separate beds because the had no other rooms available, also room shower had hair on the walls and sink and counter was dirty in the kitchen area. Also they say they offer complementary breakfast with there is no breakfast it was muffins or granola bars and a coffee maker

Rude staff. Front desk acted annoyed by a couple simple requests (cups for the room and room cards stopped working). Roach in bathtub. Weird smell. Cleaning lady came to room and told us we need to leave 45 minutes before checkout. Awful staff

The rooms were fine. Nothing special. Downstairs has security but still a handful of people wondering the front of the property. We flew in late and had to be up early for a cruise so it did the job. Check in was extremely slow, only one worker and she was upstairs helping a guest so we waited in line for her to return which seemed silly like why not have two workers? Breakfast was a muffin or a granola bar with coffee. But a few blocks over had some great spots to eat at. Because I have kids I probably would not book here again. But again I figured it was a quick stay so was not the worst.

The manager was awesome and very accommodating. We stayed before and after a cruise and he was able to get us into a room early and just a joy to work with! This will be forever are go to place when visiting in Miami!

It had a hostel feel rather than a long stay hotel. A lot of homeless folks in the area. Not what we were expecting.

The location is good for visiting downtown.

This location met our needs for an overnight stay near to the port for our cruise, a Walgreen directly across the street. Rooms were clean, area felt safe and quiet, a very small grab and go breakfast table was also made available. Kitchen facilities in the room if staying longer. Staff members were friendly and helpful

Staff is some of the nicest I’ve ever had at a hotel. Javier is the best! Also have a younger man for the evening shifts and he’s just as awesome. Convenient location with a ton of food options to walk too. South beach is a quick 15 minute Uber or Lyft. Affordable hotel as well.

The breakfast was near to nothing. Just muffins. Other than that, it’s good overall.

No restaurants near here. Very small breakfast selection, muffins, oatmeal, protein bars, coffee and tea. Overall it’s a nice place, just not the value I am use to.

Breakfast items were not restocked when running low. Also, they had my reservation wrong when arriving

The property was comfortable and we had a good stay. The one downfall we didn’t like was that it was advertised as grab and go breakfast but showed pics of hardboiled eggs and we were very disappointed when we went to get breakfast. It was only muffins, nutri grain bars, oatmeal packets, and coffee.

We didn’t have a breakfast because they finished so early.

Everything was good from the check in through the check out. Very friendly staff and the facilities and the room fill our needs the only thing that was deficient and I was expecting a little more for the prize that I paid was the breakfast. The hotel need to improve that service.
