The outside patio area is gorgeous and they are remodeling rooms. Seems like they are on the track to being a 5star location.

I understand you were going through renovations, but tearing up the entire outside of the hotel was unnecessary and ugly. You should have done this in sections. Also, $250 a night was extremely expensive for what was provided. I had outside noise coming into my room very early in the morning and late at night. I would not come back to this property

The building and rooms were clean and the grounds were very nice. I liked the patio with the grills and outdoor space. The people wirking there seemed to be on top of things

The room was clean, but the furnishings, carpet, etc. were worn, Bathroom plaster damaged. Motel is in the process of being remodeled on the outside, I assume they will also redo the rooms - they need it/

They are redoing the outside but the rooms need some attention. The furniture is very beat up and the room could use a good cleaning.

It was obvious that the hotel was going through a remodel. However, we were not prepared for that when we rented the room. Construction workers started very early and the room was half painted. I’m sure it will be nice once everything is completed. Just wish they would’ve prepared us for it before we paid what we did for the suite.

The room was filthy and reeked of smoke. The carpet had stains and there were flies in the room. It was disgusting! There were several barking dogs in rooms next to our room. We were told the hotel is smoke free and pet free. We did not end up staying and were told we cannot get a refund. I never received a return call from the manager and I called several times. Perhaps Expedia can assist me with getting a refund.

The mattress had signs of bed bugs and there was also mold all throughout the shower

There were holes in the carpet in the room. The tub had massive chips & stretches all over. There was a hole in the back of the bathroom door. The carpet didn’t look like it had been vacuumed after the last person. There was left over used washcloth hanging on the shower rod but only found it when I went to shower. The shower head was caked with calcium build up, it legit hurt to shower due to the water pressure. The water temperature was all over the place, hot to cold to luke warm to hot to luke warm. The bedside lights did not work at all. The freezer in the mini fridge was not cleaned after the last stay, splatter food wasn’t cleaned up.

My room had roaches in there and on the bed.

Beyond disgusting. Wish I had looked before I slept on it. Went to take a shower and all the towels were stained and smelled moldy. Skipped the shower.

Unfortunately the beds in the room we occupied had many bedbugs or mites. I have videos and photos... I made this claim because my wife suffers from lupus, a blood condition that can cause her to contract a disease since these little animals feed on the blood of different people, causing illness. I made my claim at the hotel offices and they told me that they were going to return my money, which they have not done to this day, but I am determined to make extreme decisions because they did not care about my wife's condition, I imagine with the people and children who use their rooms.

Awful! Do not stay here. Dirty. Unsafe. Price gouging. Six times the regular rate For mom’s weekend. Bugs in the room. Dirty sheets. Its a motel not a hotel. All of the rooms have doors to the outside.

The property is extremely dirty, things are broken and missing such as toilet paper holders, shower curtain, tv remote. The towels when you use leaves a fuzz behind. The floors are sticky and slippery in the bathroom, the walls have holes and are unfinished with paint. There are cracks in the foundation every where. We paid over $300 a night. We were not expecting anything great but not this! This owner should be shutdown! This is just atrocious or fix everything to an acceptable quality!!

Mold on the shower curtains. Something ground into the carpet. Refrigerator didn’t work. Air conditioning vent was broken just shot down to the floor.

I wouldn’t recommend this property. The one plus was no carpeting, I’m not sure I have anything else particularly positive to say. The bed was fine and the linens seemed clean, but we called right after arrival asking for an extra blanket and some more towels, got a confirmation that the request was sent to housekeeping and never got either. They are clearly doing some updates but whoever they’re using to do them should be fired. I won’t go into detail about the shoddy work, but it was ridiculous. The other huge issue was that there was no hot water in the shower. None. Turned on the water, it got mildly luke warm then once in it went from there to cold. It was because the new shower control didn’t allow you to turn it past barely warm. We got a ‘family’ room and there is no door between the two rooms. The door to the bathroom hadn’t been painted, it was filthy, the door didn’t really fit so they shaved some off and it was so rough we’d catch our clothes on it because the space is so tight you have to be a contortionist to get around the toilet so you can shut the bathroom door. There was a huge, full sized refrigerator in the room and a tiny microwave that was sitting on the nightstand on the other side of the bed in the main room. No table to sit at to eat, no hangers or even a small closet. Whoever they hired to paint should refund them their money. It’s like they gave us a room that was BEING remodeled, badly, not one that was finished.

Okay for a one night stay if you're a healthy young man, but I couldn't imagine bringing a family here. This is only a step above a literal roach motel; thankfully there were no visible signs of pests, though that could've been down to how cold the room felt. The property is old and the staff are clearly putting in little effort to improve or even maintain it; the railings are rusted, some of the paint on the wood panels is weathered, and the concrete outside of the guests' rooms has seen better days. The room I stayed in was obviously renovated and repainted at one point... or at least a renovation was attempted. I was taken aback by how poor of a job they did, as evidenced by: - paint splatter everywhere: on the carpet, on the lamps, on the back of one of the TVs, etc. - one of the A/C units was installed lopsided on the inside - one set of curtains was stained when looking from the outside - another set of curtains featured several holes in it - pieces of furniture have several noticeable scratches or even chunks taken out of them - floor was generally dirty, littered with what I assume were tiny pieces of drywall and/or paint - the bathroom door still had visible pen marks for when they re-installed the hinges; hinges themselves were also poorly done - a cigarette burn in one of the blankets (this was in a non-smoking room, by the way) At time of writing, I don't know if Expedia will allow me to upload photos here, so if you don't see them just know I took plenty.

This property is very old and needs an update urgently.

First room we were in the toliet was broken (seat came right off) and racks on the wall were not attached in the bathroom. Had to move rooms. Rented three rooms and the third room had a hole in the door that was like it was kicked in. These are BASIC rooms. Very small. No place for families, groups to really gather inside as no drinks are allowed inside (what we were told). Would only go here again as a last resort.

I thought I had cancelled this property based through hotels.com; however, apparently there was a misunderstanding. I received a phone call from the property on Thursday and promptly returned the call. They were checking if we were going to arrive on Thursday instead of Wednesday. I explained that we were not going to make it and they OFFERED AND AGREED to not charge me for Thursday and Friday - only Wednesday (which I really didn't like but was trying to compromise). Next day entire cost of 3 night stay came across my bank account. NOT happy at all!!!

Just terrible! Check in was a joke. Charged a deposit that was more than the cost of the room and was not brought to light before reserving the room or after. The man at the front desk was difficult to understand. There was no bedding for the pull out and there was mouse feces all over the pull out.Tried adding a photo but would not let me.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We waited 15 minutes, and someone finally walked in from outside to check us in. There were no washcloths in the room, and when we called the front desk, no one answered. Went to the front desk, and no one was there again. After waiting for 10 minutes, the clerk finally appeared again, but told us they did not have any washcloths. Overall, the room was dated but clean. Old mattresses were not very comfortable as they had "divots" in them from many sleepers. We would not stay here again.

Liked that the hotel room was mostly renovated. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Bathroom needs a complete renovation and the room did not have a closet.

It was cheap and the bed was comfortable. The shower and sink were also nice and seemed to be updated. The doors, both bathroom and main, had issues closing which was slightly annoying. Breakfast was very limited and the food was stale. Staff was very friendly. Good experience for the cheap price overall. Met expectations.

I thought it might be noisy but that was not the case. It was very convenient being just off the Interstate. The staff was courteous and efficient.

For some reason the water wouldn’t get warm and the area felt a bit unsafe but it was clean and affordable.

The service was friendly and professional. The area was a little rundown but the room was clean and a/c worked well.

Our beds were fairly comfortable and the room was quiet. The place looked clean but didn’t feel very clean. The rooms and property in general felt in need of some maintenance and a thorough cleaning.

Bad area

The rooms were clean, the furniture was worn, and there were plaster splashes on the bathroom door and sill. The breakfast offered was pathetic. They had donuts that were so stale, that the sugar had lifted off of them, and the donuts were not soft, they literally crunched when you broke them.

What passes for breakfast was pretty disappointing. If all you want is a cup of coffee and a piece of fruit, you'll be happy. But the lack of protein means that an hour after eating their food, you'll be hungry again. There is a McDonald's close by, and several guests brought their Egg McMuffin back to the breakfast nook to finish. I don't know if the waffle batter spout is clogged, or if it is a feature to save batter, but it (without exaggerating) takes longer to fill the batter cup than to cook a whole waffle.

The young man at check in was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, nicer and more comfortable than I expected for the price. The breakfast was limited but tasty. I will definitely stay here again the next time I need a room in town.
