If you have ever been to a decent casino this place will be a disappointment. Table games are ok. Slots are crazy tight. Talked to a few locals that said the slots are well known for being a horrible gamble. A couple of ppl said that the gas stations in the area have a much better pay out. I will never return.

The only downside was finding the casino didn’t open until 8am. We were traveling through and did not redeem our cash tickets the previous evening intending to play a little in the morning, but intending to be on the road by 7 as we had a long day of driving ahead of us. Instead, we had to wait to redeem about $700 worth of tickets.

The hotel needs an update. It’s really dirty and outdated. Not worth the overnight rate. Also it needs to be noted the casino closes for cleaning and doesn’t open back up until 8 am.

Beautiful, small town. Located right on the Ohio River. Plenty of parking for cars, motorcycles and semis. The staff was more courteous and accommodating than anywhere I’ve stayed. They set the example. Shower and bathroom were roomy, sanitary, and in good, working order. No idea what eco-friendly is supposed to mean in the ratings. So, that part got a 3 star.

The room was excellent. Our room was river view and the view was awesome. King size bed was extra comfy and everything was sparklng clean. Just didn't realize the casino was closed from 6-8 am. Didn't get to visit casino last night and it was closed when we left this morning. Oh well. I just a little richer not visiting there ;)

The hotel is decent and close to stores and restaurants. The casino slots are extremely tight and no free play was given for new members. After playing over $500 still no free play was added to the rewards card. Will not be returning to this casino but would stay at the hotel again if in the area.

When we arrived at our hotel room, it had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. We requested a different room, but the staff informed us that none were available. They offered to place an ozone machine in the room, which would take about an hour to complete. When we returned, the smell had improved somewhat, but the odor of cigarette smoke was still noticeable. We ended up going to a nearby store to purchase Febreze and another air freshener to help with the remaining odor.

The rooms are in dire need of updating and renovations. The carpets are old and stained. The room had a moldy smell. The pillows was of poor quality. The windows was so dirty you couldn’t see out. Overall the hotel needs a deep cleaning everywhere.

Very disappointing. First room was on the 3rd floor. As soon as you stepped out of the elevator the smoke smell hit you. Our room was filthy, floor not vacuumed, dusty, nicotine stsins on the walls. Mind you this qas a non-smoking room. What they did was turn their old smoking floor into non-smoking without painting, ckeaning floor or anything. Went to ask for new room and at first she said there was nothing she could do but thus was a Monday night with barely any cars in the parking lot. Probably due to booking through a 3rd party they give you their worst rooms. Finally another front desk gentleman said he could move us to the 7th floor. Carpet was still stained and hallways gross but didn’t wreak of smoke at least. Will never stay here again.

Our room was nasty. There were food crumbs on the carpet, so you know it was never vacuumed. The bathroom sink was never cleaned and when I took a shower, the tub filled with water almost to my knees. Only god knows what was washed up on my legs by that standing water. Never again will I stay there.

Very nice room with a view of the river. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, food was good at the restaurant on site. Only have two complaints: pillows were not great and the windows had a lot of bird droppings on it. Very happy and would stay again.

The room was big, the bed was semi comfortable but had very small pillows. However there is a lot of in and out of the rooms and the doors (like the hotel) are old. Every time someone would open their door it was extremely loud. Unlike any hotel I've ever stayed in. It happened multiple times around 3 am, I guess people coming up from the casino? And then again in the morning around 8:30am. There is a fridge by the bed that makes audible humming sounds all night. If you are a light sleeper or sensitive to sound like me, I would reconsider. I left today feeling very tired from lack of sleep. Also the conditions of the carpet in the hallways are monstrous. I probably would only stay here again if it was the cheapest option.

Check in process was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. Requested connecting rooms when reservation was made and then told on arrival that adjoining rooms was not guaranteed. The hotel was practically empty, so didn't understand why this was a problem. We were finally given two rooms after about twenty minutes at the counter only to find when we reached them that they were not adjoining. Made a trip back to the front desk and was lectured on "why the need for adjoining rooms". Clerk moved us down two floors and after lugging luggage back to elevators and down the hall to the new rooms found that she had programmed both sets of room keys to the same room. We could open one room but not the other and of course the connecting door to the locked room was secured from the inside. So once again made another trip back to the front desk and informed the clerk who we now have nicknamed "Nurse Ratchet" what the problem was only to be met with what I can only describe as an angry attitude for being such a bother. This was something right out of a movie. Truly and unbelievable experience. Oh, and one final thing....the internet was out for our entire stay.

Clarence at the front desk was very rude and disrespectful. Stood at front desk over 45 minutes waiting to check in with no help. Asked to speak with the manager and Clarence refused to go get him for me. Finally told Clarence to cancel my reservation and he started “go on line and do it yourself”. After leaving called to speak with the manager and his attitude was no better. Would never stay at this establishment

Housekeeping never came and cleaned our room or supplied us with clean towels. When we went to get our own towels, they told us they had to be delivered so we had to wait another hour floors need to be cleaned.

Very disappointed in the hotel. On check in we received a key that didn’t work and had to go back to the desk for a key that worked only to find the room hadn’t been cleaned. While waiting for the room to be cleaned we found that the one of 2 restaurants were open. We should have gone to McDonald’s for a cheaper hamburger. Casino was disappointing no servers around…drinks were not available. I will not be going to this one again.

We had room overlooking the ohio river and it was pretty because we could also see the bridge. The hotel smelled nice, had ample parking, and was within walking distance to downtown. Friendly staff as well.

Beautiful, small town. Located right on the Ohio River. Plenty of parking for cars, motorcycles and semis. The staff was more courteous and accommodating than anywhere I’ve stayed. They set the example. Shower and bathroom were roomy, sanitary, and in good, working order. No idea what eco-friendly is supposed to mean in the ratings. So, that part got a 3 star.

The hotel was great. Very clean and very friendly staff. We had fun at the casino. The town itself is very outdated and kind of old. We had to go to Paducah Kentucky for things to do.

There is only 2 restaurants . Only one open during our visit. Second one only open Thursday thru Sunday. Most casinos have great dining options. There was nothing open in the morning, not even a cafe for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Had to find and drive to one. Room was very nice.

Room was beautiful. But no dining service M-Th. I was hoping to get a reasonably priced casino prime rib and:1) there was no prime rib on Sun night, and 2) even if there were, it woukd have been $46! Had a pricey lower cost meal, no breakfst options in the morning. Disappointed.

We enjoy Harrah’s but since CoVid there is no longer a restaurant or water in your room. The restaurant is open for the weekend but we come early in the week.

Overall, the stay was very good. The restaurant and bar downstairs is amazing and Gina that works in the bar is a really great employee. I do think they need to get their clean towel and trash policy down. I would say for a multiple night guest like we were you should at least come in each day and take the trash.

Stopped for an evening passing through. Saw a review about craps dealers not knowing their responsibilities well and I have to agree. They weren't paying attention and wrongfully paying or not paying bets correctly. Also, why is the restaurant closed on weekdays! Drive 12 hours and you're tired and hungry but restaurant closed and no microwave in the room. The cafe counter was the only food option.

The hotel had just been renovated and was clean and renovated. However, our shower could not regulate temperature so it went from freezing to scolding hot over and over. Our bathroom sink pipe was leaking and the sprinkler head had pieces falling off at random. We didn’t discover these things until it was too late to change rooms. We told the front desk in the morning and we were told there was nothing they could do because we booked rebought hotels.com. It’s pretty frustrating because we were really excited about staying here and how beautiful the room was.
