Starlite Motor Inn

We stayed at the Starlite Motor Inn for a weekend while visiting Atlantic City during the summer time. Upon arrival, the man who I assume owns the property helped check me in and was very nice and accommodating. I think the staff were the best part of our experience! The room was decent for the price and very clean. We got a non-smoking room and it didn't smell of smoke, which we appreciated. The air condtioning was nice and cold. The bathroom was nice and fairly updated, too. Linens could use an upgrade, but overall we were happy with the quality of the room. The one issue we had with this motel was the transient and suspicious activity (which, to be fair, is all throughout this area). It's not the motel owners' fault, obviously, but as someone who is in recovery from dr**s, the stay here was triggering because of what we saw and the smell of marij*ana coming from many rooms. Police were around, though, and we didn't feel like we were in danger of any kind, but I would say that anyone trying to avoid stuff like that should spend a little more money and go to a chain hotel in a different area. But if this doesn't bother you, the Starlite Motor Inn was good quality for the price, and like I said, the staff were great. Thanks for everything!

First, I ordered a room with double beds on the first floor wheelchair accessible when I arrived didn’t have one We wound up getting a brown floor with a king bed for three people and a toddler They tried to tell me my reservation was for two people when clearly it stated three adults at a toddler They expected me to walk up steps at one and walk all the way across the hotel, because no one bothered to clean the steps at the other end of the hotel The pile of snow was horrible. They gave to downstairs room with the king size bed was supposed to be handicapped. However, there was snow was not removed. My son-in-law tripped, putting a small cut in his hand and bruising his hand. I don’t know how they expected to handicap person with the wheelchair when you couldn’t get past the snow. One of the worst experiences. They were holes in the cover no blanket
