Regency Inn Perrysburg

Spa ? You’re joking right ? Gentlemen, I am writing this regarding a reservation made in Perry’sburg, OH for May 7 to May 13. I made this reservation at the beginning of January. The reason I chose this place is because all of the other hotels close to the venue I would be attending showed there were no rooms available for those dates. To start with, you processed the payment on January 6, 2026, a full 4 months before I would arrive. I have never had any other hotel process the full fee that far in advance. At best, they would ask for a small deposit to hold the dates. When I made the reservation, I was told there were only two rooms available for those dates. As it turned out, that was an outright lie ! When I arrived, there were only 4 cars parked near the rooms. When I went to check in, there was a sign on the door: “Will be back in the office momentarily. Currently assisting another guest.” Finally, after almost 15 minutes, a woman shows up and opens the office. After I checked in, it was downhill after that. The door to the room was extremely difficult to open; I had to hit it hard with my shoulder to get it open. The room - NO TV reception, NO cable, NO WiFi. And when I tried to call the office, the phone didn’t work either. No attempt to fix any of those. Day 3 - the key card for the room quit working, so I had to go to the office, which was locked and still had the “Will be back” sign on the door. Again, I waited another 15 minutes

The staff was extremely helpful and our comfort there was a top priority. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

COMPLETE DISASTER!! We told the night clerk at 10:00 we were delayed by construction and heavy traffic and GPS said we would arrive shortly after midnight. He said the front desk closes at midnight with no allowance for late arrival. We said we might be able to get there by then and sped up, and had less construction/traffic for rest of the way & GPS said we would arrive right at midnight. We made several calls to the front desk starting about 11:45 PM, but the phone rang many times withoout an answer.

Surrounded by farmland and close to interstate.

Room was clean. Host was friendly. Property is old, shows signs of some effort to update. Unfortunately the property is cut off from the main roads,town, by interstate construction, making it difficult to find. In room coffee maker did not work, and office was not open at 8AM when we left. 2nd building appeared to be unused.
