Room was on first floor by parking area. Had people walking by window throughout night. Broken down or parted out car in parking lot. Pool, hot tub not working. Continental breakfast is coffee and few snacks. There is awesome bakery walking distance away that is amazing. Bed was very firm so if you like that it’s good. Staff were nice. Fairly cheap hotel so wasn’t expecting amazing.

Front desk couldn't make keys or take payment, so staff had to let us into our room and building for a day. Carpet not vacuumed thoroughly. Junk on carpet between furniture. Bathroom shower brown stains. Dirty caulk. Rusting fixtures. TV requires two remotes to get working. Wifi broken and unavailable on half the property where our room was. Back exit unsecured, doesn't close on its own.

Be careful. There were some people hanging around the parking lot. The staff claimed that the people (who were sleeping in their car) were friends of the owners.Doors that were supposed to be locked in the evening hours were left unlocked and propped open. All the fitness equipment was broken so the fitness room could not be used. The internet didn't work in my room. I had to either sit in the lobby (and listen to the staff argue with each other) or sit in the pool area. Other guests complained, too. I did like the location of the hotel. It just needs some care and attention to be a nicer place.

Pool and hot tub were closed. Just coffee for "continental breakfast". Lobby was locked off from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00a.m. That was weird. The attendant had such a heavy accent I couldn't understand her. She was also an unhappy person. Ice machine didn't work.

Two different doors to the parking lot do not shut securely. One of the doors had blue painters tape on it in several places. Had to pull them with a lot of force to get them to latch. I used either of the two eight different times. Each time they were not securely shut but were ajar. Very unsafe!! An elderly woman was also upset due to a lack of safety.

Pool and hot tub advertised but not open until further notice. Lobby locked from 9pm-7am. Breakfast from 7-10am. After 7am and lobby was still locked no breakfast as we had an early appointment and had to buy some breakfast on the way. Not worth my effort to stay there again

Okay, so the lobby was often closed. It was supposed to open at 7am, but it was not open when we were trying to check out and return our keys at 7:15. It was inconvenient. Overall the room was not very clean. There were spider webs surrounding the heater/air conditioner, the bathroom was not clean. The bathtub was dusty and the shower current was orange with mildew and soap scum. The sheets seemed clean. Breakfast was fine, nothing special but it worked, it was edible food except for the fruit which was all overripe with mealy apples. The staff was nice and there were no issues, but the room was just not well cleaned or taken care of.

The service is very friendly. This is not a very clean place. Blankets had holes and blood on them. The floors hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. Toe nails and dead bugs on carpet.

The only thing good about our stay was the price per night was affordable. Our room was filthy. Furniture and carpeting were so out of date. Room looked wore out and needed painting. The breakfast room was awful. No selection. One other postive was the hotel was easily accessible from the Hwy. Close to Stayton. And not that far from Salem.

We stayed here twice in the last three weeks and both times found our rooms to be unclean. The hot tub and pool are closed until further notice, the back staircase appears not to have been cleaned in weeks, there was black stuff inside the tub, brown stuff on the rim of the toilet and spiderwebs everywhere. We are not likely to stay here again.

Very little to recommend this property, except it was the closest property to where we wanted to stay, and in general, it was clean. On one of the beds, even though the sheets had obviously been laundered, they were stained, which isn't acceptable. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom, with mold growing underneath. The tissue holder was rusty; no tissues. There were issues with the TV or remote, or maybe both. The breakfast bar consisted of a waffle maker, a toaster with English muffins, and corn flakes. Next time I'll drive a little farther and pay a little more.

Everything looked good and I liked that they had a hot tub and pool and breakfast. But several things were not working right in our room-2 flickering light bulbs we asked to get replaced, and we had a hard time getting the tv to work. staff on duty didn’t know what to do but brought us a lamp and offered to change our room but we said it was ok. My husband eventually got the Tv going after about half hour of working on it.

Great location for our needs. Wi Fi very poor. TV complicated to operate, not user friendly. Even the front desk could not get it working. Breakfast was OK, could have more varitey. No cleanleness issues that we noticed. Pet fee for service dog was not listed prior to our stay.

There were no cars in the parking lot, yet we were assigned a room on the second floor. There was no elevator per the front desk clerk. We did ask if we could move to the first floor. Once in the room, it was very outdated. The microwave didn’t work. The bathroom was very small and the tub backed up right away when I tried to shower. The beds were not comfortable at all. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great location to Silver Falls State Park! Spacious room with table for 2, microwave, small fridge. Beds were a little hard.Continental breakfast was nothing special. I liked the 2:00 check in! Most hotels are 3 or 4.

My husbands and my son stayed one night for an event in Salem. Upon check in, no one was at the front desk (8:30 PM) so they rang the bell. The lady who came out (no name tag) was belching loudly,which is quite unprofessional. When my husband presented the reservation number to her that had been made a week before, she told him she had no rooms and that she had told Expedia not to take reservations because we lose money. After MUCH discussion, she rudely said. "Give me your ID". Again she said I have no rooms. So after another discussion about how he had reservations ahead of time and it was past our cancellation period, she kept saying "I don't know what to do" several times (like to herself) and then puts a paper on the counter and says"sign this" but instead of a pen she puts a pair of scissors on the counter. Of course, he asks her how am I supposed to sign it with these? She literally just stares at him for about 5 seconds and then hands him a pen. The whole time her speech is barely legible. Unbelievable!

The front desk area was closed after nine pm so had to stand outside to check in. The front desk woman was unfriendly and barely spoke English. She never gave me back my drivers license which I didn’t notice so I called when I got home and asked them to send it to me and again the woman on the phone was rude and barely spoke English. She said I had to call back later if I didn’t want to pick it up myself. The bathroom in the hotel was gross as well. But overall the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Cheap but not worth the price.

The customer service is not that great, never asking if you need towels and barging in without knocking to clean on time so that the poorly trained manager does not get upset. They do serve breakfast but that is if you get in there before they lock your room an hour before check out. I had been asked to move rooms because a customer that “normally has this room” returned and the manager inconveniently relocated me. They charged me 3x for 2 nights and I had to speak with the owner to even get any kind of resolution. Overall if you need a place to stay it’s an option but not the best.

The two nights I spent here were genuinely the worst I have ever spent at a hotel! Not only was the lobby attendant rude but she also wasn’t punctual. There’s certain times the lobby is supposed to be open and it wasn’t because she was nowhere to be found. That paired with the fact that I paid for late check out on both of the days yet I still had housekeeping open the door and try to enter while I was changing!!! The pool was closed. The lady at the desk said it was posted on the website, but it was not. In fact, the website boasts about the pool and spa and ceiling fans in every room, none of which was true. It also claims to have a continental breakfast, which they do not. Upon reading the reviews, the pool has been closed for at least a year with no plans to reopen. The girl at the desk was extremely rude. We stayed for a week and we were never offered any service whatsoever. We had to ask for towels and sheets and toilet paper and garbage bags and each time we were only given enough for that day, and the girl would scoff at us any time we walked in or out.

We arrived late at night, lobby was closed I rang the bell a few times and called 3 times I finally get a response and the front desk lady sounds asleep saying there are no rooms! I had a confirmed and payed reservation.. she said sorry I don’t have any rooms, very upsetting and frustrating after driving for a few hours only to arrive and be told this, not to mention she was extremely rude!

I checked in on Thursday afternoon by didn’t got to my room. I arrived at hotel at 9:45pm, desk closes at 10, my key didn’t work, got new key got in fine this time, once in room discovered my TV wouldn’t move off channel. Reported TV in am, came back at around three, again key wouldn’t work and no change on TV. I left again sound 4:30 when I returned 9:30 keys didn’t work got new keys but TV still not working. I also had called Friday morning to register my dog and authorize payment for her on my card. Got back late about 9:45 keys wouldn’t work, desk clerk then started telling me I couldn’t have my 8 pound dog, I explained no I registered her this morning she was petrified of my dog but kept telling me I couldn’t have my dog I said no she’s registered go look and I went to my room. TV still not working properly, still same channel. I gave up and let them know TV doesn’t work properly and I would appreciate a discount for the inconvenience she said she didn’t have power to do that. I worked in hotel for over 27 years 21 as a GM, EVERY DESK CLERK, should know how to fix a TV and have authority to give a discount. All she said was I’m sorry. Very poor management if you can’t trust your staff to do what’s right. No maintenance man apparently and again said no excuse front desk staff needs to know how to handle these situations. Won’t go back won’t recommend, in fact I will actively tell people not to stay there. They are welcome.

This hotel was good. Easy to find, no parking issues at all. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about what the firmness of the bed and pillows but on that topic I am a feather pillow kind of gal and I love my mattress plush. Everyone has a different opinion on both of these topics so I can understand how hard it is to please everyone.

Sandy, the front desk lady is nice and helpful especially during our breakfast, she personally offer to help us to make some waffles. The place is safe and other staffs are nice too. Right location when you are going to visit Silver Falls State Park.

Great location to Silver Falls State Park! Spacious room with table for 2, microwave, small fridge. Beds were a little hard.Continental breakfast was nothing special. I liked the 2:00 check in! Most hotels are 3 or 4.

Great place for the price. Staff was helpful and fun. The only thing i would suggest is to get the pool & hot tub fixed. Also, the continental breakfast left something to be desired.

Great location for our needs. Wi Fi very poor. TV complicated to operate, not user friendly. Even the front desk could not get it working. Breakfast was OK, could have more varitey. No cleanleness issues that we noticed. Pet fee for service dog was not listed prior to our stay.

What exactly would be a “Continental Breakfast “ (Old Coffee & English Muffin?) that’s one of the reasons I stayed here!! For Breakfast Not that Breakfast. Contrary to some reviews, my room was clean and everything worked. Bed was a little firmer than I liked but just fine. Person who checks me in was friendly. She recommended the Wooden Nickle for food and it was very good. There was no one at the front desk for me to formally check out at 8:30. Breakfast was bagels, English Muffins, Corn flakes, Raisin Bran milk butter cream cheese jelly. Coffee is Folger and could have been stronger.

Lack of food at breakfast. No coffee. Pot was empty . No milk for cereal. No waffle batter. No one at office to tell of problem. Baggles were limited to several days old . Tables were dirty and garbage in food area appeared to be days old.

Parking was good, the afternoon woman at the desk was an absolute sweetheart and the best thing about the place, the ac in my Room didn’t work so it was super hot and I found a roach in my bathroom, I informed the front desk and they offered to switch me rooms

Don’t stay here!!! My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel because it was the closest to Silver Falls on our vacation and it was a mistake! He got a fish hook, stuck into his toe.The staff dismissed this and I still have yet to be refunded for leaving a day early. The bathroom is filthy. The tub was disgusting. There was mold on the walls. It smelled horrible. We actually had to drive a few hours away to go to Ross and purchase our own sheets, blankets, and pillow and pillow cases and cleaning supplies because it was so disgusting. We tried to tough it out because we were supposed to stay there for three days, but we ended up leaving a day early and driving all the way to Bend because it was so bad. I would’ve much rather slept in a tent or a car.
