Jonestown Inn

When I stayed at Jonestown Inn, I was in a recently renovated room. It was spectacularly clean from floor to ceiling - including but not limited to the walls and the bed and the pillows and sheets thereon. The shower faucet had a bit of a wonky knob, but it worked regardless. I would like to emphasize my review about the staff. All staffers were professional and friendly. For example, Katie, a young professionally dressed front desk concierge, was gregarious and quick when attending to my check-in and a peculiar billing issue (a previous cancellation was painlessly and quickly resolved thanks to Katie and her management team.) Furthermore, housekeeping staff were numerous, professional, and diligent. Suffice it to say that I was impressed with the accomodations and staff at the affordable and charming Jonestown Inn.

Clean and easy to check in and out

The hotel was in the process of having old carpets replaced as we arrived to check in. We were given a room on the 2nd floor which was ok until we see the elevator has been shut off due to the carpeting happening at that moment. I did mention to having a room on the main level which fell on death ears from the young lady working the front desk. To say this employee is in the wrong business (hospitalitly) is a understatement. Once making it upstairs to 2nd floor we then must gingerly make our way through the rolls of carpeting, equipment , men working, etc... and once at the assigned room and inside we see many nails directly inside the rooms entry hallway scattered on floor!!! Thank goodness I spotted them right away!!!!! unreal that we were given this room on a floor under construction in the 1st place. The bathroom is very limited in space so much so that it makes it difficult to open and close bathroom door. The noise from the nail guns continued past check in as well. The breakfast in the morning was a joke. Worse ever in all my years traveling. Not even a single piece of fruit was available or a pastry. Room service is not offered as well. Not speaking of food ofcourse, I am saying we had zero room service offered to us. No fresh towels delivered, no trash cans emptied, no beds made, etc..... I feel I full refund should be given. I will NEVER ever return to this property. Warning to others!!!!

The room was spacious and comfortable and great shower. But the bathroom wasn't clean well so I had to clean it myself. It was noisy do to the guest upstairs with kids running around so I couldn't sleep well and it was very disappointing. I like top floor do to this happening before. Also the hotel was under construction do to being remolded. I will stay here again in the future if I have to.

This hotel was in the process of rebranding with cosmetic makeover. Appeared to have a new pool insert, and new wall paint that was pending touchups and detail work. Easily missed when driving by. Safe parking.
