It would have been nice to know that the big pool was closed. There were other areas to swim but just Shallow pool areas and hot tubes. Staff was friendly and great.

Liked the room was clean and ac worked great. The pools seems dirty though so we didn't use any of them. Over all I would stay here again.

We loved its location on the beach. They were having work done so the pools and hot tubs on the 7th floor were closed which was a disappointing, but overall a good enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed Myrtle Beach. We should’ve gotten an ocean front room but we got a side view. The bed was comfortable. The AC was a bit loud. Loved the lazy river pools. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where the parking ramp is right near room. Open your room and the ramp is right there. It was a good stay.

We loved this hotel. We will be staying again. Check in was super easy, everyone was very nice and helpful, the hotel way very clean and well taken care of. Our room had a wonderful view. We had everything we needed from dishes, coffee, plenty towels and rags. There was plenty parking in the parking deck. It was nice being able to park on the same floor as our room. Made it easier to load and unload. Another thing we loved was the 7th floor pool, hot tub and lazy river. The main level had a lot more people but the 7th floor deck only had one other family. We had it all to ourselves for a while. Great hotel!

The rooms were nice and the location was perfect and quiet. The pools were very crouded and the water was not the cleanest, but that is to be expected witht hat many people. It is the perfect spot on beach. The staff is super friendly. Parking is tough.

The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. I had a Double Queen bedroom with kitchenette and balcony oceanview. Rooms were clean. We had an issue with the bathroom sink, however, we notified the front desk and the issue was fixed immediately. We enjoyed our stay, however, we were disappointed that the pool bar was not open during our stay and the dining options were limited. Overall nice property.

The rooms and grounds didn’t match up to the pictures online. The room walls were dirty. Our room smelt terrible. Three of us stayed in the same room and we were all grossed out by the room condition. The tv didn’t work. We didn’t mind but it was another let down had someone wanted to watch something. There was a pool closed off and empty. This was out of their control but the beach smelt like poop. Just an fyi to anyone coming soon

This property is very outdated. It is in need of renovations. We arrived for a weekend getaway expecting a nice comfortable resort. This place felt and looked like a motel. External paint is faded. It was midnight so I decided to stay. I checked in and the room was horrible. The walk and ceiling paint was chipping. The first room had fleas even though this is suppose to be a pet free place. I was moved to a new room at 1am. The second room had dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. I got out of the shower and reached for a towel to find red stains which appeared to be dried blood. It was disgusting. I was wet so I reached for another towel and the second one had hair balls rolled in it. It was a kinky texture that I do not have. Needless to say I checked out immediately. I reported everything to the hotel but The hotel staff said they couldn’t find the soiled towels I left on the floor. The hotel needs deep cleaning and major renovations.

I was not impressed. On arrival, I was charged a ‘resort fee.’ Had I known about the fee, I might have made a different choice. Also, there was nothing special about the pools and spa tubs. They need up keeping like EVERYTHING in the hotel. The stove in my room was old and rusty and the first night I saw a dead roach in the cupboard under the sink. The second night, my nephew saw a live one crawling in the same cupboard and later we found one running on the bathroom sink area. This is not my cup of tea as far as hotels are concerned. It’s close to the beach and that’s about it. Management did give me $75 off when I showed a picture of the dead roach and a video of the crawling roach. They said SC has a bug that looks like a roach. I don’t know but in my entire 59 years of staying in hotels. ( for this year so far, I have stayed 23 nights in hotels) , I have NEVER seen bugs, roaches etc. My nieces and nephew from a ‘third world country,’ were surprised to see roaches in an American hotel. They did offer to spray my room after the second roach but I was leaving. We were out of there at 6:00 in the morning. I’m reminded to stick to the established brands.

I had picked this property because after some research I thought it would be a good place to stay compared to others. however I was wrong I had encountered several incidents with cockroaches inside and outside of the hotel. I had one immediately to the front desk and have them come take care of the situation I had also asked them if their hotel had cockroaches and they assured me they didn't well I assure you they did and we also brought them home with us. I don't believe I need to say anything other than that

The room was pretty clean, but there were baby roaches in the room. Appliances are outdated. Pools are pretty cool. The staff was very nice and efficient. Don’t know if I would stay again but it worked for the one night we were there. Another good thing, we left our earbuds behind and they quickly located them in the room and arranged shipping. Staff gets all the stars.

The rooms are alright if it’s just 2 people maybe two kids. The staff is nice. The room I’m wondering if it was cleaned before we got there. There was long hairs stuck to the walls in the shower and hair in the bottom of tub. They said no smoking/vaping in rooms or balcony, but your slapped in the face with pot walking onto balcony.

The property was just ok. It was clean for the most part but deep cleaning is needed as well as dusting. The air was dusty in the rooms, behind the bathroom door was dirty on the door and at the bottom of the walls. The tub was not the cleanest. The stove was not the cleanest and the dishes were not the cleanest. The parking lot was not big enough for larger SUVs. There were leaks in the indoor pool area. When it rained the water came through the ceiling. The lazy Rivers were very small and moved super slow.

Last minute reservation and chose due to rating. Room old and smelled musky or like a dog had been in there. Purchased oceanfront so when I arrived only room left had scaffolding across balcony. Took since it was late but wasn’t happy. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff working reception were all excellent. We lost power our first night and they accommodated us with another room. The hotel itself is ok. The walls are paper thin which makes it very noisy. Our bed was very hard and not very comfortable and although the ac worked it had 2 settings. Freezing and hot. The nice outdoor pool was down for cleaning which was disappointing. Overall it was good enough for what we paid and we had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Loved the oceanfront balcony on the 6th floor! Views were spectacular and also love the easy parking, cleanliness of the room and the convenience of a kitchen area. This was my 7th time staying here in the last 5 years and won’t stay anywhere else!

WiFi kept going out on the tv so I had to turn off and on a lot. Could not get answers to my questions because the staff I approached did not speak English well. In the cafe at breakfast the waffle maker exploded on me ruining mine and my daughter’s clothes for the day. Maid service could have been better

Love the location and that it is next to a residential area which was quieter. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing that could improve was the way the studio room we had was set up. There was a shelving area with a bar to hang up stuff, but you couldn't hang up much there because it was so short, unless maybe kid's clothes. Also they was a fridge but not a microwave.

We love the spaciousness of the rooms at Grande Shores BUT our "ocean front view" was blocked by scaffolding right in front of our balcony! Had we been made aware BEFORE booking, we would have gone elsewhere. Also, please upgrade your bedding, the bed pillows were like bricks!

Overall, we like the stay but the property was dated. It had a little bit of a smell, and therefore probably wasn’t as clean and you couldn’t really communicate with the staff because they were not English speaking.

There was a little bit of a hiccup in the room type that I had scheduled and the hotel was completely sold out but they were very quick to apologize. Bring a microwave and some things to the room and move me as soon as there was an available room.. The hotel is a little bit older But spotlessly clean in all of the grounds to the rooms. The shoreline cafe is affordable for breakfast with a buffet that has all the good stuff and a bar. The staff was amazing and very very friendly. When you travel a lot, you expect that you will run into some glitches from time to time. And it's not the mistakes, but how quickly they respond and I must say that the people here went above and beyond.

Great stay. Aro? was great at check-in when we arrived. Very friendlyand professional. They were doing work at the resort that interfered with my view of the ocean and the sunrise. Overall, it was good.

Property was nice, lazy river not open, front desk in the morning thru 3pm were not very friendly at ALL! We were told our room was not ready and that it should be ready soon that was at 12 noon (we understood check in was not until 4) however we were told they would let us in early well 2pm rolls by and I walked in and asked if the room was ready because the first lady that checked us in said it should be ready in a little while, this woman proceeded to rudely tell me that check in was not until 4. I explained to her what the first woman stated she didn't want to hear it or I should say acknowledge it (I knew right there and then that I would never receive my message) which I never did..415 rolls around yet no message..we finally Walk in about 420 and there was a new person working..not the friendliest either, but she at least give us our room number. A little later I received a text stating that they were sorry for the inconvenience and would see what if anything they could do, I stated a breakfast voucher for me and my wife would be nice...they never responded...poor hospitality!! I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!; Nor would I recommend it....

The hotel overall was decent. The parking garage isn't ideal due to it being so small and cars not able to see around corners. The breakfast was confusing, thought there was free breakfast but you have to pay. The room was supposed to be oceanfront but we were given a partial ocean side view. Other than those minor personal problems I loved the hotel for the night. And I loved the lobby attendant I can't remember his name.

WiFi kept going out on the tv so I had to turn off and on a lot. Could not get answers to my questions because the staff I approached did not speak English well. The staff were professional, helpful, and friendly. I had a Double Queen bedroom with kitchenette and balcony oceanview. Rooms were clean. We had an issue with the bathroom sink, however, we notified the front desk and the issue was fixed immediately. We enjoyed our stay, however, we were disappointed that the pool bar was not open during our stay and the dining options were limited. Overall nice property.

We had a great stay. Beds are newer and very comfy with nice linens. The kitchenette was a nice feature. The bathroom was clean and had everything you need. The view from our room of the beach and 2 of the pools was amazing, we could hear the waves when we opened the sliding glass doors to our balcony and access to the beach was very easy with options for swimming, sitting or walking either way for miles. Going up to the outdoor seventh floor pools and hot tubs were very nice, I loved both the lazy rivers. Staff were great and very helpful, breakfast had a lot of options and stayed available until 11am. Overall the rooms could use some updating but a very nice relaxing stay off season away from the boardwalk but a quick drive to get your fill of what the boardwalk has to offer. Indoor parking was included with very easy access to your room. Unlike hotels by the boardwalk where you have to pay for parking every day. Definitely will stay again.

Wow! This place is amazing! Such friendly workers, from the front desk to people working on the property and around the pool! Perfect place to stay in Myrtle Beach. A cafe, picnic tables, awesome pool and grounds all just feet from the beach. And also another pool and spa on the 6th floor with an awesome view of the beach and coastline. This is the place to stay!
