La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Charleston Riverview

Great location minutes from historic district. Your closer vis uber from here then a lot of downtown. Free parking, nice complimentary breakfast. Pool was nice but too cold out to use. Quiet and right in the water. Stay here if you’re doing a boat cruise. I’d stay again.

Least accommodating place I have stayed at. Also, advertise that you charge an $11 parking fee or else you can't get your room right before it's 12 midnight. K thanks.

This place is a dump! To be fair, it is possible the main building in their pictures may be nice. However, we were given a room in the old run down building next to the building they have pictures of. I did see one picture of the old building but it’s so close up I didn’t realize there was a whole other side. If you want to stay in a dirty, run down hotel/motel, away from cool things to do and see, this is the place. The river is right outside but there are no tourist attractions from that point. It is by far the worse hotel I’ve stayed for as much as I paid. I made the mistake thinking close to the river would be cool and that paying what I paid it would’ve been nice. I was sadly mistaken!

The breakfast was not good. Not much variety compared to other La Quintas. The staff were nice and helpful.
