The property is clean, the employees are nice and helpful, all exterior access points are controlled by your room key. Rules are in place to keep the hotel clean, quiet and respectful. I have asthma and appreciate the fact that the bathroom had an exhaust fan. The laundry space is clean and well maintained, and the parking lot is well lit. I am impressed with how quiet it was at night, and I was finally able to sleep and relax. I will be coming back and highly recommend it to sleep deprived travelers.

We waited 10 mins for tge front desk guy...so he could smoke..we reserved a room with multiple beds and a sofa bed because we had a party of 3 guys. There were absolutly no sofa beds on property..(false advertisement). Has a kitchette with stove top, but no fire extinguisher. We had to check out 2 days early and they couldnt even do a partial refund...im going to the BBB for the extinguisher alone...

The hotel stay was over priced. The blankets is paper thin we asked for an extra one and the hotel couldn’t even give us one because they done have extra. Even though the hotel is old, they keep it very clean and also making sure the exit doors are secure locked and to enter the hotel have to use the key card.

WoodSpring I admire the staff here. They are very attentive and concerned with your stay here and do take action on anything that goes against their policy & when entering the building its clean/disinfectant & they work hard on keeping the building clean & safe smell but elevator/floors smells cigarettes@times Business/Stay

There was a musty smell throughout and the 4th floor hallway carpet was badly stained. The room was ok for a single guy traveling, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with my family there. It reminded me of some old Navy Enlisted Barracks.

Es un hotel sucio. Hay cucarachas cuartos sin luz, sucios camas malas, dure tres días sin luz en mi cuarto. Hay moscas en los cuartos, no tienen personal de mantenimiento. No tienen personal de limpieza, al hacer un reclamo amenazan con llamar a la policía y sacarnos del hotel. It's a dirty hotel. There are cockroaches rooms without light, dirty bad beds, I lasted three days without electricity in my room. There are flies in the rooms, they don't have maintenance staff. They don't have cleaning staff, when making a claim they threaten to call the police and take us out of the hotel.

The shower was dirty! Had a bottle ring in it and the floor mat had hair and filth on it. The bathroom door was broken and a poor attempt to cover it up was made. The fitted sheet didn't fit the mattress, we fought it all night trying to keep it on. As soon as you sat on the bed it came off one corner or another. The smoke detector was missing batteries and left open. Over all very disappointed in our stay. I have pictures to prove the disarray.

We are from out of state and decided to stay here. Pros: Customer service is great. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Water is great temperature for the showers. Rooms are clean. A/C worked for the hot TX weather. Lots of restaurants and stores to choose from. Great location! Cons: DO NOT stay on floor 2. This is the only hallway which smells. I was on floor 2. The walls are thin. I am a light sleep, so I did not sleep well the whole 3-days I stayed there. The bathtub floor creaks, so I would recommend a top floor room. People were hanging outside of the hotel at all hours. Elevator takes forever, so we always used the stairs. The linens are white. My bed’s top cover had embedded hairs still in them which were not mine.

While my stay there i couldnt sleep at night there was people arguing at like 2 or 3 in the morning slamming doors yelling even during the day as well i work nights so i tried to sleep as much as i could but with all of that i couldn't get much sleep

The walls were very thin, you could here the neighbors crying kids and dogs barking. The room was to be cleaned after 14 days, no one ever came to clean. The beds were very uncomfortable. We can say without a doubt we will not be using this place again for recommending it.

The representative that checked me in was very professional and should be recognized. I was going to leave before checking in until I spoke to the front desk personal. I do not know his name due to many hours with work. The room was dirty. Dirt on the floor and counters.

When we got to the property we walked into the check-in area and waited and waited and waited for someone to come to the counter to check us in. Once checked in we proceeded to the elevator where we encountered a cloud of pot smoke. After getting onto the elevator and up to our floor we were hit again with the pungent smell exiting the elevator. We lasted maybe 30 mintues before deciding we could not stay at this hotel. When leaving the clerk asked if we had even checked in.

The staff here is amazing. They went abive and beyond to ensure my stay was fabulous. The lady at the front desk even remembered my name from the last time i was there over 2 yrs ago. I cant recommend the site enough!

First off I would like to say Mrs.Truddy was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS at this location. Her knowledge of the area was a true blessing. Wonderful asset to your company she truly cares. Yes there was so pest problems but they were dead and u could tell they were working on the motel. Remember to bring all essentials shampoo/conditioner ECT ECT but if you happen to forget there are several stores near by. It's a kid class stay but if your on budget and need a reasonable place to stay it's worth it. All the workers were polite (knowing Spanish is a plus) but if u don't they try and help.

This property has a lot of homeless people on the property and staying near the trash can. It says non smoking but the rooms smell like weed and I even bought a candle to over come the smell but was not successful. The guest are very loud and ghetto. I believe they are living there. I was walking my dog and got hit on my a group of guys that were drunk and drinking outside in the parking lot. The doors are locked at all times and you need a key to enter but would not recommend this hotel. Also they say they are pet friendly but charged me $83 on top of my room charges for a small dog. Then I booked a king bed and since I had a dog they but me in a queen bed room. The bath tub had mold in the calk by the handle and spout. They reviews were okay that is why I booked this hotel but beware and save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

This property has a lot of homeless people on the property and staying near the trash can. It says non smoking but the rooms smell like weed and I even bought a candle to over come the smell but was not successful. The guest are very loud and ghetto. I believe they are living there. I was walking my dog and got hit on my a group of guys that were drunk and drinking outside in the parking lot. We are from out of state and decided to stay here. Pros: Customer service is great. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Water is great temperature for the showers. Rooms are clean. A/C worked for the hot TX weather. Lots of restaurants and stores to choose from. Great location! Cons: DO NOT stay on floor 2. This is the only hallway which smells. I was on floor 2. The walls are thin. I am a light sleep, so I did not sleep well the whole 3-days I stayed there. The bathtub floor creaks, so I would recommend a top floor room. People were hanging outside of the hotel at all hours. Elevator takes forever, so we always used the stairs. The linens are white. My bed’s top cover had embedded hairs still in them which were not mine.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room reeked of cigarette smoke even tho it was clearly stated as a non smoking room. The mattresses were thrift store finds with plastic bed frames that basically broke when you put weight on them. The AC didn’t work at all. The pet deposit wasn’t a deposit but additional non-refundable fees even for a service animal. The noise from all the rooms around us sounded like elephants were rearranging furniture. The phones in the room didn’t work so you couldn’t call down to the front desk. Also, when trying to leave the front desk was unmanned for so long that 8 people ended up just leaving. Luckily Hotels.com worked with me and got some of my stay back. Avoid at all costs.
