Room was clean, acceptable, and in an excellent location for touring old Dubrovnik. So why the bad review? You are paying full price for a hotel with minimum staffing. If you arrive after 3 pm you may have to ask several times before someone from the nearby restaurant leads you to a closed door in the wall with the name on the door itself, no other signage. Then you have to enter the room combination on the electronic lock and if you get the timing right after a couple tries, let yourself in, pick up your envelope with keys and find your room. This for almost $300 per night. In addition, the air conditioning was not working and the noise from the restaurant if you left the windows was not good for sleeping either. They worked on AC next day but still not great and I wouldn't touch the controls for fear of shutting it off.

空港バスはプロチェ門でしか降車出来ませんので、そこからはプラツァ通りをピレ門に向かって歩きます。 メインストリートなので迷う事はなかったです。フランシスコ会修道院が右手に見える所で左の路地に入ります。 どの路地もオープンカフェになっていますが、Garisteという路地の奥にホテルの入り口があります。 部屋は清潔で新しく掃除も行き届いています。何より照明が明るくWi-FiやスマートTV等が最新なのが良かったです。旧市街の真ん中で、これだけの設備のプチホテルに宿泊できて楽しい3泊でした。 エレベーターは無いですが、スタッフがすぐに荷物を運んでくれます。皆さん明るく親切でした。 2階に朝食とランチが取れるレストランがあります。 ランチは、ドゥブロブニクで1番安くて美味しいのでは？と思いました。 世界的な観光地なので驚くべき観光客の数でしたが、部屋に帰ると静かで涼しく、本当に癒されました。 夜間はフロントにスタッフが不在になりますが、緊急時の連絡先も教えてくれます。 ピレ門もすぐなので、ドゥブロブニクカードの購入や長距離バスターミナルへ行く市バス乗り場もすぐでした。 ピレ門を出て道路の反対側のピザ屋（Pizzeria Tomato)の隣りがスーパーです（Studenac) 旧市街の小さなスーパーはペットボトルもとても高いので、ここで購入しました。 歴史のある素晴らしい旧市街の中で、最新の設備の部屋に泊まりたい人には絶対にお勧めのホテルです。

Hotel wunderbar, sehr gut gelegen aber man muss jung und fit sein für diesen Aufenthalt. Taxis können nicht in die Altstadt hereinfahren also muss man sein Gepäck bis zum Hotel selber tragen Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und obwohl das freundliche Personal geholfen hat, muss man 1.2 oder 3 Etagen steigen

El lugar está muy céntrico, cómodo para ir y venir con facilidad, el staff (tanto Ma.tea como el Host del Restaurante) muy serviciales y atentos... El único gran tema es que NO tiene elevador, y eso sí tuvo un impacto importante en la comodidad para subir/bajar equipaje, entrar/salir de la habitación... ya que las escaleras están pesadas especialmente para una persona (adulto mayor) que se cansa más fácilmente subiendo escaleras para moverse por el hotel. Por lo demás, todo muy bien.

部屋もスタッフの対応も良かったのですが 路地を入ったところのドアを入るのが分かりにくくて何分も周りをウロウロしました。 城壁の中なので場所は素晴らしいのですがエレベーターなしで重い荷物を4階まで上げるのはしんどかった。 冷蔵庫がないのも残念でした。 朝食はクロアチア朝食にしたのですが、ハムとチーズと卵だけでやさいは一切ありませんでした。 スタッフがレセプションにいる時間が限られているので夕方以降のチェックインは、ホテルからのメール連絡(英語)でドアの暗証番号が分かる方式です。

The hotel is right inside the Pile gate and down the first street (alley). It has been remodeled and is very modern. The staff was in touch with me before we left the US. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue was that there is no elevator. Lots of stairs to get to our 4th floor room. It was loud all night if we had the windows open. We had to close them to sleep.

The location cannot be beat. Property is nice. Stairs only. They use a lot of students to manage it which is great. We had a fire alarm incident when we were there which was unfortunate because the students were not capable of dealing with the situation appropriately. Outside of that, it is a good place to stay if you want to be in the middle of Dubrovnik Disneyland. Lol for the side streets...

Great hotel in the heart of the old town. Spotless rooms, no sound from the bustling streets. The breakfasts were delicious. Wide choice . We went for fruit and yogurt …. Delicious, plentiful ans beautifully served. Really great place to stay

Great location right by the gate to old city Room was very small but clean. The bathroom smelled like sewage initially. The air conditioning did not work very well and the room was stuffy. No on-site staff, but they were very friendly when we did deal with them.

旧市街の中にあり場所がわかりやすく便利で、こじんまりとした清潔な部屋でした。 ただ空調が今の時期としては寒く、シャワーも時間を置かないと再度使えなかったのが気になりました。 スタッフの方は皆親切でした。

This gorgeous hotel is ideally situated just inside the Pile Gate, tucked away in a quiet side street. The property has been modernised to a high standard and its immaculately clean.The staff are exceptional- nothing is too much trouble and tne breakfast options were varied and really tasty. Can't recommend this hotel enough...

The hotel far exceeded our expectations; the room was larger than the photos seemed to show, and better in any way: the modern, stylish decor, comfortable bed, large bathroom, more towels than I’ve ever had in a hotel. The cleanliness was absolute, the breakfast offered many options and included expresso (our choice) coffee. The staff could not do more for us, from the friendly receptionists who texted me when the room was ready and responded immediately, gave local and down to earth advice for sightseeing, to the clearly highly trained waiter who waited us at breakfast. And it is a few steps from the Pile Gate, where all taxis and other means of transportation will stop. As locations go, it is in the Old Town, meaning that all attractions and dining are just outside the hotel door. We would not be staying anywhere else when returning to that magnificent place.

And it is a few steps from the Pile Gate, where all taxis and other means of transportation will stop. As locations go, it is in the Old Town, meaning that all attractions and dining are just outside the hotel door. We would not be staying anywhere else when returning to that magnificent place.
The hotel far exceeded our expectations; the room was larger than the photos seemed to show, and better in any way: the modern, stylish decor, comfortable bed, large bathroom, more towels than I’ve ever had in a hotel. The cleanliness was absolute, the breakfast offered many options and included expresso (our choice) coffee. Room was clean, acceptable, and in an excellent location for touring old Dubrovnik. So why the bad review? You are paying full price for a hotel with minimum staffing. If you arrive after 3 pm you may have to ask several times before someone from the nearby restaurant leads you to a closed door in the wall with the name on the door itself, no other signage. Then you have to enter the room combination on the electronic lock and if you get the timing right after a couple tries, let yourself in, pick up your envelope with keys and find your room. This for almost $300 per night. In addition, the air conditioning was not working and the noise from the restaurant if you left the windows was not good for sleeping either. They worked on AC next day but still not great and I wouldn't touch the controls for fear of shutting it off.

They got me into my room early and provided a boxed breakfast because I was leaving before there were staff onsite. Also, if you are leaving property early in the AM there is plenty of traffic with others leaving the old city for tours or flights. I wasn’t alone walking the streets at 6:30am!

The location cannot be beat. Property is nice. Stairs only. They use a lot of students to manage it which is great. We had a fire alarm incident when we were there which was unfortunate because the students were not capable of dealing with the situation appropriately. Outside of that, it is a good place to stay if you want to be in the middle of Dubrovnik Disneyland. Lol for the side streets...

The hotel is right inside the Pile gate and down the first street (alley). It has been remodeled and is very modern. The staff was in touch with me before we left the US. The breakfast was excellent. The only issue was that there is no elevator. Lots of stairs to get to our 4th floor room. It was loud all night if we had the windows open. We had to close them to sleep.

空港バスはプロチェ門でしか降車出来ませんので、そこからはプラツァ通りをピレ門に向かって歩きます。 メインストリートなので迷う事はなかったです。フランシスコ会修道院が右手に見える所で左の路地に入ります。 どの路地もオープンカフェになっていますが、Garisteという路地の奥にホテルの入り口があります。 部屋は清潔で新しく掃除も行き届いています。何より照明が明るくWi-FiやスマートTV等が最新なのが良かったです。旧市街の真ん中で、これだけの設備のプチホテルに宿泊できて楽しい3泊でした。 エレベーターは無いですが、スタッフがすぐに荷物を運んでくれます。皆さん明るく親切でした。 2階に朝食とランチが取れるレストランがあります。 ランチは、ドゥブロブニクで1番安くて美味しいのでは？と思いました。 世界的な観光地なので驚くべき観光客の数でしたが、部屋に帰ると静かで涼しく、本当に癒されました。 夜間はフロントにスタッフが不在になりますが、緊急時の連絡先も教えてくれます。 ピレ門もすぐなので、ドゥブロブニクカードの購入や長距離バスターミナルへ行く市バス乗り場もすぐでした。 ピレ門を出て道路の反対側のピザ屋（Pizzeria Tomato)の隣りがスーパーです（Studenac) 旧市街の小さなスーパーはペットボトルもとても高いので、ここで購入しました。 歴史のある素晴らしい旧市街の中で、最新の設備の部屋に泊まりたい人には絶対にお勧めのホテルです。

This gorgeous hotel is ideally situated just inside the Pile Gate, tucked away in a quiet side street. The property has been modernised to a high standard and its immaculately clean.The staff are exceptional- nothing is too much trouble and tne breakfast options were varied and really tasty. Newly renovated hotel inside the old city walls. Very clean and comfortable with incredibly helpful staff. Can’t beat the location and proximity to all the sights and shopping in old town Dubrovnik. Key pad entry to the lobby. Front desk seems to only be staffed in the morning. Decent breakfast with excellent coffee. Only downside is the old plumbing smell from the toilet. Just need to keep the lid closed :-) Tip #1 : Start your day early as hordes of tourists arrive around 10am. Tip #2 : If driving to Dubrovnik, please note old town Dubrovnik is a restricted zone. You need to have a permit to enter the area.

Comfortable bed, nice overhead shower etc. Breakfast is nice and varied with different choices - local, French, English etc. with very friendly staff. Good value restaurant outside. Highly recommended.

The Akademis Gariste was perfect for me. The cab dropped me off at the Pile Gate. The driver called ahead and the hotel sent a porter to greet me. The Akademis was just a short walk from the Gate. My room was beautiful and the service was excellent. My thanks to Diana, the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and kind. I would definitely reccomend this hotel.
