While the location and the facilities were alright. The customer service from the manager on duty on October 22nd was terrible. I returned to mid afternoon to my room after my meeting to find my door unlocked and open. I asked the front desk if maintenance was been made in my room and they said no. And sent a person to check the room. He was prompt and told be the office will be checking the key system so see if somebody had entered my room, and that the manager will reach out. After half an hour nothing… I go downstairs and ask the front desk for an update. They say they are checking…. I sit in the lobby for 30 min…. Nothing….i then ask the front desk to speak to the manager. Who has not shown his face at any point in this process. The manager shows up, tells me that system is charging and have not been able to check it. He does not apologize, does not acknowledge the privacy and security concerns of the situation, and suggests maybe I just left my own door open…. I request to be moved to a different room at least, which they never offered. I am given a new room, manager says he will update me on the system check…. He never does… it has been 6 days since I checked out. The incompetence of this employee has been staggering!

The room was amazing and clean. Breakfast was better than most I’ve been to. We didn’t need the kitchen in the suite but it was stocked and a plus for those who might need it. Plus this was a perfect walk to and from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

The room did not have working AC the front desk did have to give us a few portable AC units which we really appreciated as the room was really hot!!
