I’ve traveled 70+ countries even to Marrakech, Morocco-Africa & even their standards were much better & professional than The Premium Grand Plaza Winston Hotel. I checked in ok by the day/ morning manager. He was polite at first, but later when I express my room wasn’t clean properly bc housekeeper left dirty coffee cups, & empty water bottles & garbage in bin he turned off his charm. Why, pay for a room & have to clean it too? I was here on a 17 day business trip so that behavior was unacceptable. I’m diabetic, and again explained that the fridge was very warm & he said Welkom to the Netherlands ….. really! I’ve actually been to the Netherlands (5) times b4 but not the surrounding cities. I then asked for an Ice Bucket to keep my diabetic medication cool, & I was told they don’t have Ice Bucket’s. Wow! Every good hotel has Ice Bucket’s, but it was a learning experience. I’ll never stay here again, or refer anyone & I have a wide base. He sent me to the restaurant on 1st fl-level above, and here we go again. He couldn’t figure out how to accommodate me either. We actually, argued for about 12 minutes to use a utensil bucket that could fit in fridge & hold the ice to cool the medication. Ohhhh, b4 I 4get this is not a full operating Hotel. It’s a Refugee hotel mostly ! So, it’s false advertisement, to offer a hotel experience when it’s a government base hotel to house refugees. Nothing against refugees but customers should be informed. I don’t recommend

Nous avons passé une nuit à l’hôtel Grand Winston avant de poursuivre nos vacances aux Pays Bas . L’hôtel est très bien situé, avec des possibilités de se garer aux alentours. La chambre est spacieuse, calme,moderne et confortable. Le personnel de la réception est très gentil. La dame qui nous a accueillis nous a donné les informations nécessaires : une petite carte de la ville de la Haye , et une carte de tram. Le lendemain, nous avons fait le check out et on nous offert 2 petits chocolats en forme de cœur. Merci beaucoup pour toute cette attention !

This a huge concrete hotel on a busy road with two wings. It is functional but has nothing that offers the guest any real comfort or luxury of any kind, no views, no nice areas to sit. Average breakfast which is expensive for what you get, basic room but it was clean with a decent sized shower. There is nowhere within reasonable walking distance to eat or drink that is not a fast food joint. Windows don't open so it's stuffy. It is excellent for bus services which are right outside and the station is a 2 minute walk away. This is a purely functional, reasonably good value place to stay for a couple of nights, alone, on business. The staff on reception were good news and friendly.
