I booked my double queen room on a 3rd party site. Upon my arrival, I entered my room to find a king bed - for 4 adults. Spoke with the front deck person and she stated they were sold out, but the room had a pull out. Not the best experience, but did get a refund and from what I could tell the hotel was in a decent area of Lafayette.

When we got there, the first room we had the TV didn’t work and the air conditioner was not cooling. I went down to the desk and the representative was awesome and gave us a room directly across the hall so we didn’t have to move our stuff very far. From then on out there were no issues. The room was comfortable, beds were comfortable, AC cooled like a dream and breakfast was nice the next morning.

We did a staycation for our 37th anniversary. Hampton Inn & Suites is close to home but we felt like we were in a sanctuary. The accommodations were excellent and the free breakfast was substantial. The staff was impeccable. Nearly every time we choose to go on a staycation we stay at Hampton Inn & Suites. It could be a special occasion or just a little getaway from the pressures of daily life.

The room was horrible and looked nothing like the pictures online. It smelled the bed was not comfortable they were hard and the linen was dirty and not properly put on the bed. The carpet was dirty, the paint was chipping from the walls, ceiling, bathroom door, the ac was falling apart out the window, the tub was dirty and the lightning in the room was so low you can’t see. I could barely get dressed I slept very horrible and was woke up with the construction being done on the actual hotel. I’m very disappointed
