It would have been nice to know the hotel was undergoing renovations. Room was ok for our two night stay. When i went to check out on sunday morning there was no one at the front desk. So ate a little breakfast while waiting on him to return, but i know it was early but i did expect him to a little more pleasant than he was.

This property had 24/7 access via the back door. It was never locked. Sat down in my room to eat my dinner & 1/2 way through a roach come on out crawling all over my food. There were bugs in the floor. My room was dirty and the breakfast was lacking.

There are a lot of homeless people surrounding the hotel, one sleeping under the stairs inside the hotel. The side door did not lock, our toilet was not flushing even though we didn’t clog it, our remote to the tv did not work, and the main ceiling lights did not work. The breakfast was sad, staff was fine enough, and the room was clean.

Dirty, toilet wasn’t cleaned (piss on the back) sink faucet was loose and wobbly, hole in the ceiling, bathroom door hard to close, bathroom fan didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, painters tape still on board that TV was mounted to, broken window, stained sheets, miss matched light bulbs in bath fixture, smelly, moldy shower rod, hair on the bottom of the shower curtain.

The room smelled musty and of cigarettes. Was not clean. The toilet holder fell down because missing screw. The worst was the toilet overflowed and no one came to look at it. Also saw two cockroaches and took pictures. The tv also went out for a time and then came back on. We have asked for compensation for not being able to get ready because the toilet overflowing and they have not responded to us.

We booked a room for a night and when we went to check in they wanted to charge us $100 for a deposit. So my wife and I declined and chose not to stay at microtel, so within 5 minutes we had made our reservation booked a room and called and canceled the reservation. And here it is 3 days later and they have charged us for the stay, And it looks like from them they will not be refunding money or acknowledging any sort of wrong doing. Advice would be to stay away from microtel on Winchester road in Lexington, Kentucky. Good day everyone and God bless to all.

Toliet seat had 1 broken bold, so sitting down and not sliding off was an acrobatic trick. This entire sink faucet was hanging on by a thread. Breakfast was a good mix of fresh fruit, pastries and cereal

This place has one of the rudest hotel clerks who accused me of walking in with an attitude when I asked for a room on the first floor. No elevator. No offer of assistance. Had to drag bags up to the second floor for an overnight stay. The breakfast was horrible. No coffee, green bananas, no juice. The room was barely acceptable.

Th staff we met were fantastic, and our room was clean. The public areas are in need of some maintenance, but our room was in pretty good shape. There were some dingy looking gas stations nearby, but overall the area was safe feeling, and there were restaurants and stores on the south side of Winchester Rd. Wendy's was next door. Definitely worth it for the price we paid. Would stay again.

Excellent place to stay, very friendly, every thing near by including walmart 3 blacks, dollar tree next building 2minutes walking, Bus stop 1-2 minutes walking, downtown 10 minutes, UK university 10 -13 minutes. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very nice and worm, amenities was exellent This Microtel is for everyone individuals, couple, families, and Minorities. I will stay again Very highly recommended

Scary. Filled with sketchy people. The manager looked like he lived under a bridge. I barely slept in the ridiculously small, over priced space. They failed my wake-up call and I missed an important meeting. I later was told there had been a number of police incidents at this place, that homeless had been "warehoused" there and that there had even been physical crimes. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Very nice clean hotel room. The Dove soap and shampoo products are what really won me over.The complimentary breakfast was better than I expected. Everyone working here were very nice friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room.

Quiet. clean, nice Microtel sized rooms, Just the basics but a low price. Friendly staff. A good variety of breakfast items. 2 night stay. plenty of restaurants, Walmart and Lowes within 1/4 mile.

Room was ok, floor was dirty, but beds were clean. Breakfast wasn’t much and little variety. Hallways were very dirty. Will choose another option next time.

I stayed one night at this property, room was nice and clean and everything is good except for breakfast was disappointing, poor selection. I was up at 6:30 only , no bread, muffins otherwise I would have giving I five stars.

I didnt like thatmy bathroom vent didnt work, the safety rail was broken, the room had patched hole from door that wasnt finished with another hole in it, Barking yapping dogs, clients refusing to leave being kicked out, breakfast wasn't anything to great mostly all cold unless you heated toast, oatmeal, or an already cooked hard boiled egg.

Upon arrival, it was clear that the pictures aren’t very accurate in what the actual rooms are like. Bed was very firm, but comfortable enough to sleep on. Sink water smelled like sewage and had an intense pressure. Shower smelled fine and the water pressure was low. The complimentary bathroom necessitates (body wash, lotion, shampoo, conditioner) were nearly or completely empty. Floor visibly wasnt mopped and had a sauce stain in the corner near the window side bed. Air conditioner smelled funky at first, but after running all day it was fine. Tv had basic boring cable and the remote wasn’t the easiest to use, VERY outdated. Overall, would I ever stay again? Eh, only if absolutely necessary. Did I expect more especially for how much I paid for weekend? Yeah, but seeing as the area was busy for opening weekend of Keeneland I figured i’d go on the cheaper side and downgrade my stay from what i’m used to since everything was expensive. That’s my fault for trying to be cheap.

The room smelled like mildew. Nothing is in compassion to your own bed and pillows. The pillows they had could have been better. The lobby was clean. The room itself was decent for the price. The overpowering smell of mildew is what just threw me off. The staff were very generous!

The toilet paper holder was broke and the toilet paper was put on the towel rack peg. The air in the room didn’t work well, so we had to set it to 63 degrees to get it to be around 70 degrees in room. Bed was really uncomfortable. The cleanliness was okay. Probably would not stay here again.
