Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown

Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and coffee was excellent.

Breakfast was your standard included breakfast. The hotel is an older property. Very close to the fire station so there was quite a bit of noise.

Our room, the pool and the hotel were very clean. We always enjoy the breakfast with the many tasty selections. The staff, no matter who was on duty, were very friendly, helpful and patient.

The staff were very helpful and addressed two minor concerns with our room promptly. Love the Location, security and above all the bar staff were the best Thx

Hotel is dated with only apparent upgrades to the main lobby and a funky looking bathroom faucet. Bed was very uncomfortable, creeked any time I moved, and not level so I felt like I was going to roll out of it. Could hardly call the pillows a pillow as they were barely thicker than the pillowcases. Thin walls and could hear everything inside and outside building making sleep difficult. Card keys wouldn't work for me and at least 3 other guests when trying to check in around midnight so we had to have security open our room doors. Front desk staff chalked it up to "happens around this time every day" which is crazy that this is a known issue but the hotel hasn't done anything to fix it. For a city known to have people out late at night, I imagine this becomes a major bottleneck and frustration on busier nights. Breakfast was below average with rubbery eggs and a juice machine that didn't work half the time. I've stayed at many Hampton Inn's, and this one ranks amongst the bottom. Won't be staying here again unless they do a major overhaul.
