The fact that in order to check in, I had to do it through a window in the wall with a sliding hole underneath like a bank drive-thru did not lend to a feeling of safety. Hotels.com also neglected to pass on the information that if you wanted to park your car in their parking lot, there was an additional $10 fee. The door to the room looked like someone had kicked it and broken the front of the door. Inside, the only lock available on the door is the dead bolt. There was half of a chain lock on the door and the drapes covering the window did NOT cover the entire window allowing anyone outside to see inside. Overall, I did not feel very safe at this hotel. The room itself was very basic. The bed was not fancy, but it was comfortable for the night. There was a corner of the room banged up to the point you saw the metal/wire where the plaster had broken away. The sink in the bathroom was slow draining. The TV worked well, and the refrigerator. I did not try the air conditioning unit. The one positive of this hotel is its location to the Coliseum and the Rose Garden which is basically across the street. That was the reason I picked this hotel for our stay. I definitely won't be staying here again. I would pay a little more to feel safe
