Great experience. Lounge is a bit dated, could use a refresh clean to make it brighter looking. Disappointed there was no complementary cocktail service during the appetizer service. Usually it’s offered at most hotels and their executive lounges. Front lobby/ guest check-in the stag was helpful and very accommodating. Shared restaurants and activities near hotel to explore. Which we did. Wonderful advice! Would definitely stay here again.

The Marriott Waterfront Portland was a typical downtown stay with a nice view of the river. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The M Club lounge was available for our stay and another couple. We had heavy hors d’euorvers in the evening and a nice breakfast buffet in the mornings during our stay. We did have to pay for cocktails/ beer, which hasn’t always been the case- typically beer & wine has been free, but it looks like that has now changed. The staff was welcoming and friendly and we were able to have a late checkout, which was nice. I would recommend this hotel for its convenient location and friendly staff.
