The ice machine was leaking all weekending. Water thru out the entrance of the door to get to room. The pool was not even filled up. The picture was nothing to what the room looks or the front of the hotel. It said breakfast included and it was the closed the whole weekend. The beds were so small and not the size it said in the website. The hotel has a nasty smell. Garbage all over the hotel front and inside . Very disappointed and felt led to since the photos the website put up was not this hotel. Wanted to cancel my whole reservation but unfortunately every hotel was booked due to a soccer tournament around. Not at all happy and won’t recommend at all.

I like that they had a balcony and the room was really big great for when you have two young boys. They just need an upgrade and just cancel saying they have a pool they have a hole in the ground.

ITS A DUMP, its bad, really bad, only got one room key for 4 adult men, only got 2 towels for the 4 of us, soap and shampoo dispenser in shower were empty, no remote for TV, when finally got remote, TV channels did not work, just said no signal, front desk guy does not speak good English, was always nowhere to be found, place smelled like puke, cat pee, or marijuana depending on where you were, flies everywhere, pool was gross, breakfast was a joke, everything was out of order, ice machine only worked when it wanted to, ni light bulbs in the lamps, etc etc, please find a different hotel/ worse place i every stayed at, Im not kidding.

Very unsafe, key access software was broken so very inconvenient to stay when you don’t have the key and need to ask the front desk to open the room every time. Main entrance door was broken and left open throughout the night hence very unsafe. Would not recommend.

Area by the ice machine and vending smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, (possibly from the employee room next to the ice machine.) The vending machine was empty. The swimming pool had a family of ducks living in it. The location was convenient. The website doesn't match the policies posted by the registration desk.

It was okay for a night. Ice and vending machines were broken and non existent. There’s no clear signage pointing you to where the rooms are. The place is definitely older and there isn’t any elevators which hurts if you’re unable to go up stairs. The front desk person was nice. Smelled like weed and smoke in the halls. The bed and pillows were good. Like I said, it wasn’t bad staying for a night while in town for the race. You get what you pay for.

The staff was unbelievably rude. They tried to overcharge me twice and then kept my deposit after leaving I suppose due to the multiple confrontations I had with management over questionable charges. The pool was disgusting and was told by several regular guests it stays that way. Television and Wi-Fi are off of mini satellite boosters of some kind....so don't plan to stay in. I had over double charging,

My wife tripped over a worn out mat in the hallway and injured her hip. Staff refuse to acknowledge it. We were there 11 days through the Labor Day weekend. The pool was so green you could not see the bottom the entire time. When asked each day we received one deceptive response after another. The staff is generally rude and dismissive. We have been traveling for the last 2 years off and on and if never failed to receive a deposit back on the rare occasion when was required. They kept ours claiming that the room was in bad shape, this is the funniest thing I've ever heard. After questioning a few locals in the area I came to understand that they stolen deposit is a regular informal policy with them. You pretty much check in there knowing you will not receive it so you should just add that to the total cost of your stay when considering motels. Recent remodeling was done I understand. They merely painted over the already builder grade one piece fiberglass tub and showers and it was peeling the whole time we were there as well as the ceiling above. There complimentary breakfast is not free but added to the daily cost and I strongly urge you to consider eating elsewhere. Check in was a very long process and for what seemed like no reason. It was midnight and there was no one else waiting besides us. The front desk staff was dressed in sweats and a wrinkled TShirt that had inappropriate verbiage on the front. He kept asking repeatedly (even after I said I didn’t) if I had $50 cash for their deposit and I told him I did not, and it would have to go on my card. He told me it would take 4-7 business days to get my deposit back on the card. Asked him for directions to where our room was located and he didn’t even specify which building, as there are 2. Make sure to ask if your room is in Building A or B to save yourselves time and confusion. As we entered our building there was a very damaged soda machine and water leaking all over the hotel floor (Building A) with no wet floor signs, no posted signs. Total lawsuit waiting to happen. Our room wasn’t the cleanest I’ve ever seen (someone even left a penny under the packaged soap on the counter.). They only had 2 towels even though our online reservation was for 3. The only positive I can give is that the bed was comfortable. For what we paid, I expected a lot better.

We had a 2 night stay. We checked into a dirty room, crumbs on the bed, hairs on the bed, spots on the floor. Fogured we'd only need the room for 2 nights - so we sucked it up. Went out early and came back the 2nd day around 9:00pm to find our key didn't open the room door, just the exterior to the building. Hunted for and finally found the on duty staff roaming the halls. Told him what room we were and he opened the door, no ID check. We walked in to find a flood from the room above. Went back to the front desk, complained at length, had staff walk to our room to inspect it and was then accused of causing the flood. Ultimately we got a new room, upstairs. Upstairs room was cleaner but was clearly not cleaned - open bottle of beer socks, and an exfoliating sponge were left behind. Beyond this, the halls smelled of tobacco, weed, and mold. The motel also seemed to have people living there. One offered my son (12) cigarettes and another had a cup out in the hall for donations. Terrible experience, avoid at all costs.

Worse place ever, they dont even chage the sheet, hair from the previous person that slept in the bed. Used and still wet towels, non smoking room that smells like weed cigarets and humidity, dead insects under the dirty sheets and red dots (possibly blood). If you can sleep in your car, do it.

it was disgusting it was cobwebs everywhere with spiders. it was mold all over the room and there is a hole in the floor. it only had 3 channels on the tv and the employees did not care. the hallways were very stinky. when we opened the fridge, there was a huge block of ice at the top. we called and asked for assistance and they never came. it was a horrible experience i do not recommend to anyone. we left it immediately because we did not feel safe. They wouldnt refund us our money either.

Room was filthy and had horrible smoke odor. Blow dryer did not work, bathroom was moldy and fixtures were rusty. Bed linens and curtains had burn holes in them. Hotel did not have an elevator and trash bins were full. This was absolutely the worst room we have ever stayed in. Towels even smelled of smoke…Lobby was beautiful. I will never stay in a Quality Inn Again!!!

I was devastated the first room they put us in had cockroaches running around the entire room. They were doing construction on the bottom half of the second part of hotel,and still renting the rooms above . I insisted to look in another area of the hotel they had offered, thst room was cleaner. When we went to get breakfast the next morning the ceiling was leaking around the food area. We left and ate elsewhere. I would not recommend this hotel in Richmond at all!!

Run down. I did check for bedbugs and the room was clean, but the couch was broken, the AC unit just ran at 53 and could not be changed, and the curtain over the window was broken. The lobby restrooms have been under construction for 6 months. We had to yell to get someone to come out and check us in after we rang the bell twice. The room smelled like old smoke. The pillows were tiny and more like covered decorative couch pillows. Would not say it’s a 3-star hotel. More like a 1.5-star. We were just happy we didn’t get murdered. It felt murdery.

The pillows were tiny and more like covered decorative couch pillows. Would not say it’s a 3-star hotel. More like a 1.5-star. We were just happy we didn’t get murdered. It felt murdery.

First, the good: Check-in was easy. The location, which is right off of 95 South, is great. The room had a new, dual-flush toilet. The water pressure and hot water for the shower was fine. The refrigerator was large, for a hotel fridge, and the microwave worked. Continental breakfast was not bad. Just don't expect hot eggs or bacon. The Wi-Fi worked well. The not so great: The room is old, the air was stale, the carpet looked like it had never (ever) been steam cleaned. I made sure to not walk on it in my bare feet. The light fixtures and switches were dirty, there was a plastic bag over the smoke alarm (why? I don't know). The spray-on coating on the bottom of the bathtub was worn completely off, making it look shabby. You couldn't lock the sliding glass door to the balcony, making it feel unsafe. The door to the room shuts, but not tightly (it locks, but the door can still rattle back and forth). The lighting in the room was inadequate (you would think that since LED lighting is cheaper and more efficient than the old lights they would have bright LED lights everywhere. But it was only well lit in the bathroom). The lobby and stairwell reeked of weed.

You cant beat the price of a stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located. The room had all the basics, and the staff were friendly. We requested extra towels and were quickly accommodated. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the room temperature was good. I've stayed at much more expensive hotels and could not say the same about some of them. If you are on a budget, this is definitely the place to stay.

The property was average, it was clean and located conveniently off of 95. The tub in the room was unusable and frankly unsafe. Whatever coating was applied to the surface of the tub had almost entirely peeled off, the flakes of the coating were still peeling and the surface was extremely slippery. We didn\'t shower because of this situation. Also, I unfortunately left an article of clothing on the back of the bathroom door, I called and spoke to the front desk personnel at this hotel three times to see if housekeeping had found it but they never called me back. The one time I called the man said he would check with housekeeping and call me back and tried to hang up and then I said "don\'t you need my phone number?" and he replied "oh, yes, what is it?" I don\'t believe any of these people ever intended to help me. Very poor customer service! Even if the clothing was not found, I would expect a return call to tell me that. I would not stay here again, nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff was unbelievably rude. They tried to overcharge me twice and then kept my deposit after leaving I suppose due to the multiple confrontations I had with management over questionable charges. The pool was disgusting and was told by several regular guests it stays that way. Television and Wi-Fi are off of mini satellite boosters of some kind....so don't plan to stay in. My wife tripped over a worn out mat in the hallway and injured her hip. Staff refuse to acknowledge it. We were there 11 days through the Labor Day weekend. The pool was so green you could not see the bottom the entire time. When asked each day we received one deceptive response after another. The staff is generally rude and dismissive. We have been traveling for the last 2 years off and on and if never failed to receive a deposit back on the rare occasion when was required. They kept ours claiming that the room was in bad shape, this is the funniest thing I've ever heard. After questioning a few locals in the area I came to understand that they stolen deposit is a regular informal policy with them. You pretty much check in there knowing you will not receive it so you should just add that to the total cost of your stay when considering motels. Recent remodeling was done I understand. They merely painted over the already builder grade one piece fiberglass tub and showers and it was peeling the whole time we were there as well as the ceiling above. There complimentary breakfast is not free but added to the daily cost and I strongly urge you to consider eating elsewhere. I did not like the cleanliness of the property. As soon as I walked in my room I went right back to the office and asked if I was given a room that had not been cleaned yet. The lady in the office looked at me like I was crazy and said what’s wrong. I asked to change rooms and she just said she would send housekeeping. When I showed housekeeping some of the issues I had she stated that it was all maintenance related. So nothing was done to fix my concerns.

Check in was a very long process and for what seemed like no reason. It was midnight and there was no one else waiting besides us. The front desk staff was dressed in sweats and a wrinkled TShirt that had inappropriate verbiage on the front. He kept asking repeatedly (even after I said I didn’t) if I had $50 cash for their deposit and I told him I did not, and it would have to go on my card. He told me it would take 4-7 business days to get my deposit back on the card. Asked him for directions to where our room was located and he didn’t even specify which building, as there are 2. Make sure to ask if your room is in Building A or B to save yourselves time and confusion. As we entered our building there was a very damaged soda machine and water leaking all over the hotel floor (Building A) with no wet floor signs, no posted signs. Total lawsuit waiting to happen. Our room wasn’t the cleanest I’ve ever seen (someone even left a penny under the packaged soap on the counter.). They only had 2 towels even though our online reservation was for 3. The only positive I can give is that the bed was comfortable. For what we paid, I expected a lot better.

Desk clerk managers were very friendly. Would recommend providing hot oatmeal and bananas with the continental breakfast. Did not draw back the curtains in our room because there was no sheer curtain to cover the window and the parking lot was directly outside our window. We could see cars and people coming and going from our room window. There was no privacy so we kept the curtains closed. It was a 1 night stay and overall we were comfortable

ITS A DUMP, its bad, really bad, only got one room key for 4 adult men, only got 2 towels for the 4 of us, soap and shampoo dispenser in shower were empty, no remote for TV, when finally got remote, TV channels did not work, just said no signal, front desk guy does not speak good English, was always nowhere to be found, place smelled like puke, cat pee, or marijuana depending on where you were, flies everywhere, pool was gross, breakfast was a joke, everything was out of order, ice machine only worked when it wanted to, ni light bulbs in the lamps, etc etc, please find a different hotel/ worse place i every stayed at, Im not kidding.

This property was nothing like the photos and listing on Expedia. The lock on the room door was broken, the room was filthy with a broken tv. There are smoking rooms which we knew beforehand, so while ours didn't smell of it, the hallways and common areas did. The restaurant isn't attached to the property, but is nearby - we didn't get to check that or the pool out. Only stayed one night, and the included breakfast (until 9:30, we were there at 9) was disappointing. There was no mix for the waffle machine, no milk for the cereal, and our only choices were bagels or some dodgy looking apples. The woman we checked out with barely acknowledged us, and asked nothing our room or stay. Might stay again as it's cheap and clean, but some friendly customer service would've made all the difference.

The place has roaches! The carpets were dirty. They are attempting to remodel, but I would have been happy with ZERO bugs! Didn’t like waking up to roaches crawling on us. Didn’t like sitting a the table and roaches crawling up the wall beside us. Went to Walmart and bought roach spray. Before bringing anything into my house, had to spend $50 at the laundromat, and spray luggage with roach spray to avoid transporting bugs into my house. Will never stay there again. Breakfast was crap! Pool was nice.
The place has roaches! The carpets were dirty. They are attempting to remodel, but I would have been happy with ZERO bugs! Didn’t like waking up to roaches crawling on us. Didn’t like sitting a the table and roaches crawling up the wall beside us. Went to Walmart and bought roach spray.
