My family and I stayed 2 nights, the rooms, food, and staff were all good. There was a ton of snow when we stayed, and they managed to keep the entrance clean and dry. One of the elevators were down during our stay. Overall, I would stay here again.

Nice hotel! No issues with anything. Everything was very clean. Very solid breakfast. Pool small but got the job done. Swam twice and both times there were no towels on the rack. Would stay again!

Room was great.. spacious, clean, bright with a great hot shower, indoor pool was small but very clean, & there was a small clean patio with tables/umbrellas outside from the pool area. All employees were so kind & helpful! Breakfast was great.. lots of options! Entire hotel was clean & maintained well.. Was animal friendly but never smelled like it & they were reserved on a separate floor I believe which I appreciated as a person with terrible animal allergies. Only one complaint.. was the king mattress in room 128 was like sleeping on metal springs.. Awful & so disappointed.. we tossed & turned for 3 nights.. was a bummer. Back still hurting since we got back 8/24.

For a budget hotel, the rooms were as you'd expect, nothing too fancy, but they were clean. The one thing I wish I had read reviews about before going was the condition of the pool. It was so cloudy you couldn't see all of the stairs going down into it, so we opted not to go in. I asked at the desk about it and they said it was cleaned last week, so it should be fine to use... I didn't take the chance. Overall, a pleasant stay though, the staff were friendly and everything else was as expected.

A very dirty room on the first floor. Carpet was ver old and a heavy "Musky" scent. The carpet was very sticky so walked aroubd in socks. The smell caused my wife to have headaches. We should have checked out, but was already settled in. We ended up purchasing a large bottle of Febreeze which masked the smell. Breakast was so-so. Mattress on bed sagged in the middle indicating it was old. Giving it two stars may be generous. We will look elsewhere when we come back to the Rochester area The hotel was convenient for what we had to do.

The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful. However, the bedding in the first room we were in did not appear clean. The mattress pad was stained (could see it through the sheet) and had what appeared to be a cigarette burn in it. The room smelled faintly of smoke. The front desk clerk moved us to a different room. This room had some stains on the bathroom sink, but the mattress was so severely stained, we could not fathom sleeping on it. We then checked out of the hotel and stayed at a nearby hotel that was clean and comfortable. Because we had paid through Expedia, we had a very difficult time getting our money refunded. It finally happened, but expedia told us that the hotel said no at first. Since these are conversations between the hotel and expedia, I cannot say for sure what happened, but we did eventually get refunded.

Location was good. The bathroom wasn’t clean. Mould around bathtub, toilet seat was cracked, floor wasn’t clean, and no exhaust fan. Air conditioning unit controls were not working. Room wasn’t refreshed for second day, no clean towels or face cloths, garbage cans weren’t emptied. Fridge cupboard door wasn’t able to close. Light burnt out beside the bed. One of the beds squeaked. Never stayed at a Hotel for more than two days where the room wasn’t refreshed for the second day. Had to wait an hour for the clean towels after calling down to the front twice to ask them. When they delivered the towels, they had a long hair strand on the towels when I was handed them and pointed it out to the person and he didn’t no what to say or do. No coffee second night and the following morning breakfast. Unbelievable. I’ve stayed at this location several times before with family and I’m a die hard customer of Hampton Inn’s. This was a real disappointment. Not up to Hampton Inn’s standards. I will definitely be contacting head office.

It was fine for a one night visit. While the room looks recently updated it was dirty & didn’t look like it was cleaned before our visit. The toilet barely flushed, the tub didn’t drain & the bedsheets/pillowcases were all stained. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Pulling up to the hotel is less than Steller, the parking lot was littered with trash, and it looked desolate. The lobby is pretty, staff interactions were fine, though after check in they never interacted with us again. The room was sub par; I noticed stray hairs throughout the bathroom, mysterious brown splatters on the wall of the bedroom, a pair of clean and folded underwear tucked away in the closet, grime build up around the sink (which only had one temperature: extremely hot). It is clear that not much effort is put into the cleaning here. The sliding bathroom door was off track, leaving my toddler to constantly slam his fingers in it, so that was fun. The breakfast the following morning was the icing on the cake though. We came in at a respectable 830 to it being completely empty. There was almost no food options, despite there being almost nobody there, there was empty containers everywhere, water where juice was expected. We cobbled together the most mediocre breakfast just to get on the road, and FYI, for grab and go options there was only fruit, which was a large bunch of aggressively green bananas. They did have crayons and coloring pages out though, which my youngest appreciated. There is so much room for improvement.

Service was awesome- pillows were uncomfortable no matter how many you stacked up, breakfast was ok but free;) and the noise coming thru the closed windows was loud - windows need replaced. Also barn doors on bathrooms had no stop so you could see thru cracks of door and pinched hands in door. Otherwise ok place to stay.

This was some of the worst sleep I think I've had in a hotel. We drove 14 hours and needed some sleep before having to get up and drive 14 more. Went to sleep around 11:30, woken up by a car in the parking lot BOOMING their radio/bass by midnight. Happened again just a couple of hours later. Could hear traffic and sirens all night. By 6am there was a LOUD dump truck beeping and banging around collecting the dumpster for 10-15 minutes. At that point we just got up gathered our things and checked out. Luckily it was cheap enough but PAPER thin walls made it a waste of our time and money. Breakfast was nothing to write home about and the juice dispenser was out of order the 30 minutes we attempted checking in for some. Gave up on that and left as well.

Only one complaint.. was the king mattress in room 128 was like sleeping on metal springs.. Awful & so disappointed.. we tossed & turned for 3 nights.. was a bummer. Back still hurting since we got back 8/24.

booked a stay at the Hampton Inn in Greece, New York through Expedia.ca. Due to what appears to have been a system glitch during booking, my travel dates were entered incorrectly. I immediately contacted Expedia, who confirmed there may have been a technical issue and advised me to reach out directly to the hotel’s general manager to see if they could move my stay to the correct date. Our check in experience with Skylar was excellent, and he made sure we had what we needed during our stay. The room was clean, quiet, and comfy. Our only issue was that the breakfast was horrible. The eggs weren't eatable, and there was no regular waffle batter, only pumpkin spice. Very little fruit, only some tiny apples, all of which were bruised or squishy. Even the hard boiled eggs were of poor quality. No yogurt that wasn't so full of sugar it might as well have been candy. This meant that we had to take the time and money to eat breakfast elsewhere. One of the reasons we stay at Hamptons is that we can eat there and they're clean and safe. This def met the clean and safe, but nothing else.

Overall, it was good. They sent us to the wrong room type when we first arrived so we had to switch. Then, I explained that for a 5-day stay maybe day 3 have housekeepers do towels, trash, and toilet paper. They tell us housekeeping is coming in day 3, but they never came. My husband and I emptied the trash cans (we got got a few towels and definitely needed toilet paper). I had to say something because there was a promise that morning that we were “on the schedule.” So, they send a housekeeper there day 4, and she was told to do a full clean. I said we’re leaving the next day, but she said she’d get in trouble if she didn’t do it. Bad communication.

Very underwhelming. Hotel was understaffed. Mentioned to front staff that my child found a pair of adult underwear and a cigarette lighter in the room, and he was very dismissive saying that he's seen that happen before. Not a safe atmosphere for children that this is what's being left in rooms from a previous guest. Offered no apology.

When we arrived, they stated they did not have our reservation despite multiple confirmations stating we were at the right place, right date. Turns out our reservation did not communicate from the Expedia website to their computer system. Thankfully the front staff was patient and helpful. Ultimately the manager was able to rectify the situation. Otherwise, our stay was fine.

Not up to par with other Hamptons I have stayed at. Check-in service was slow. There r was no one at the desk at first we had to tap on a door to get help. Handicap room shower sprayed water on the bathroom floor. I also offered any water as a Hiton honors member.

A friend and I stayed at this hotel as I was having surgery early in the morning on a Tuesday so we stayed Monday night and the night after surgery. Monday night was fine. We left early in the morning to go to Highland hospital, anticipating after surgery to return to a refreshed room with fresh washcloths and towels. Skylar at the front desk was great. The automatic doors, as well as the elevators needed oil. Definitely could have gone without the overnight guy commenting on my lack of bra when I asked him where it was okay to smoke outside.

Single mom traveling with 3 kids. My importance are safety, food, pool and comfort. For the price, this gave me everything. The buffet for morning breakfast was great. The pool was fun and the bed was comfy. All around a great stay. The bonus was it was close to restaurants and airport.

Great location with many restaurants such as Starbucks, Long Horn, Five Guys, Outback, Olive Garden literally 3 minutes away (drive). Rooms look newly refurbished not too long ago and overall clean and quite spacious. Loved that toiletries were provided. Pool was decent size and water was quite warm. Loved the hot breakfast: make your own waffles with chocolate chips, sprinkles, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel sauces. Cereal, oatmeal, muffins, danish, toast, bagel, scrambled eggs, sausage, and fruit. All day coffee and tea bags, hot water.

The woman who check us in was less than friendly and made us feel as though we were annoying her, however was very nice to the people behind us. The room was clean and updated. Everything was very good except the outside area was full of garbage at side entrance. We just had a few feet of snow so I am hoping it was just an oversight as the snow melted Breakfast was excellent. Love Hampton waffles!

This our second time at this hotel. The room we got appeared clean at first but then we found a toy train behind the curtain and a bottle of Mountain Dew on the floor by the heater. Our room was 232, the drain in the bath tub seemed clogged with a lot of hair, the water took a long time to drain, ceiling but the light in bathroom was peeling and falling apart. Otherwise, the staff at the breakfast buffet did a wonderful job ensuring the breakfast was fully stocked. It’s still a good hotel to stay at if you’re going to the String museum.

I only stood for a night. The room was clean and quiet. The only downfall was the breakfast. Breakfast was from 6am to 10am. By 9am they only had a few slices of bread, waffle mix and semi cooked turkey patties. We were told they ran out of eggs.

We had a very average hotel experience at this Hampton. The room was fairly comfortable and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. The staff were quite friendly as well. I’m probably more of a stickler for cleanliness than most people, so I couldn’t help but notice the excessive hairs in the bathroom. I had to wipe down the tub before showering to avoid being totally repulsed. Our beds were also extremely soft, which wasn’t ideal for me. My family in another room said their beds were too firm. Overall, it was an okay stay for one night.

The room we had on the second floor the curtain only went half way across the windows. She the parking lot could see straight into the room and the spotlight shining on the hotel shined directly into the room. It looked like 8am on a sunny day all night long.
